What can happen in Godzone now if you don't want to wear a mask

 "It is an act of consummate wickedness to break the laws of Jesus Christ in order to yield obedience to earthly rulers" - Pope Leo XIII. 

The atheist Government of Ardern,Little&Co, Death Dealers to the Nation, now 'requires' Catholics to sign in before they can attend Holy Mass, or be pinged with hefty fines - and the NZ Conference of Catholic Bishops, like cowards, complies.

This is the sin of servility, of obeying a human superior (the Government) out of fear of punishment or the loss of personal interest while disobeying the law of God to keep the Sabbath Day holy. 

In this situation, unprecedented in history, what is Our Lord  asking of faithful Catholics? 

For most Novus Ordo Massgoers it's all about 'keeping ourselves safe'. But for Catholics who are not Covid believers, who don't seek the holy grail of 'vaccination', it poses a serious moral dilemma.

Do we "choose our battles", decide this isn't that important and comply, or do we refuse to sign, recognising that "an unjust law" which prevents us obeying God's Third Commandment of God is "no law at all" (Ss Augustine and Thomas Aquinas)? 

And what happens if we refuse to sign, on the grounds that it's our unalienable right to attend Mass, and no business of Ardern, Little&Co? (Just as it's no business of the bishops whether we get the Government's Clotshot or not.)

Msgr Brendan Daly, judicial vicar of the Tribunal of the Catholic Church in New Zealand, told NZ Catholic this week that he does not see any problems with people entering Catholic churches having to scan or sign in.

Well at the moment, Monsignor, the problem as you know is that Catholic churches have all been locked up again, by order of Her Majesty's Government.  (And what would Her Majesty have to say about that, we wonder, when the rest of the world including the UK has abandoned the ridiculous 'elimination' strategy. One wonders whether Ardern's grim determination to hang on against all the odds of business failures, postponed medical procedures and suicides just might be motivated by an ambition to see herself feted once more on the cover of Time, as the Worldwide Vanquisher of the Virus?)

Our Eucharistic Lord is currently denied the company of even one single adorer, be they ever so cunning as to slip in unseen for an hour or so. No, such miscreants have yet another notice slapped on them, on the church door announcing, among a lengthy list of Government protocols for Covid, that 'private prayer is not permitted'.

Is this not also, along with denying people the Mass and Holy Communion, "an act of consummate wickedness"?

So Head Prefect Hipkins has ordered we sign in to assist Ardern&Co to contact-trace quickly in the event of a Covid-19 outbreak. If there isn't a Covid-19 outbreak there'll be an outbreak of something else. The tech exists. All that prevents it happening 'any time soon' is the need for the globalists, via Ardern,Little&Co, to get further subjugated, much more compliant and even more biddable sheople than we are now. 

Some of us are still too spirited. We must be crushed underfoot, like the poor guy in the Countdown carpark. 

He hadn't raised his voice, he hadn't threatened anyone. The duty manager keeps walking away from him. But he left the supermarket. Next thing the police arrive and arrest him in the carpark, without telling him why. When he asked he was told, 'civil disobedience'. Is there any Act or statute given power of arrest for 'civil disobedience'? It took three officers to arrest one man who didn't seem armed or aggressive.He was eventually charged only with summary offences, meaning very low-level penalties.

Police are criminally liable for the use of excessive force. The BFD says anyone watching the video who was involved in making that arrest should be very uncomfortable. And police hierarchy watching it should be very uncomfortable also.

And what about the Catholic hierarchy? How about their faithful flock turning up at Mass on Sunday morning who say they don't want to sign in? How uncomfortable should the bishops be, watching that video? And we lay people- should we succumb to fear, as Stalinda Ardern implied we should in her 1 p m 'Update' this week when she threatened non-mask wearers with the responsibility for the whole of Auckland staying in lockdown level four? Doesn't it remind you of Sister Hyacinth telling the class that so-and-so has been naughty and as a consequence the whole class will be kept in after school?

NZ Catholic uses nice language like 'mandatory',  'ensure', 'contact-trace'  when what's really meant is 'compulsory', 'enforce', 'track you down'. Is NZ Catholic also on a Government subsidy, like almost all the rest of NZ's media?

"Supermarkets and other retail outlets will reportedly be exempt from the change (to 'mandatory' record-keeping) as the compliance burden would be too onerous, especially for small businesses," Mr Hipkins said.

Well, Mr Hipkins, the Catholic Church, after Vat II and 70 years of the Novus Ordo, is reduced to being a very small business indeed, and the compliance burden will be onerous, even taking into account the Church's bureaucracy, so sizable as to seem completely out of proportion to her congregations, like a tail wagging the dog.

Some representatives from the hospitality industry have told media that they are not pleased at the compliance burden they will have to shoulder.

Cheeky things! Those poor hospo sods may live to regret their frank speaking - their details will have been taken down and their words may come back to haunt them. But note that the NZ Conference of Catholic Bishops is not complaining about the compliance burden, not to mention the affront, the insult, to her Divine Master by making his little ones jump through moral hoops to assist at His redemptive Sacrifice.  

Our bishops are, with the possible exception of +Gielen, modernists to a man, like all the bishops and those periti (expert advisors) who were priests, who at the Second Vatican Council violated the Oath Against Modernism they all had taken, by voting in favour of Vat II's counter-syllabus documents which according to then-Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, were intended to 'correct' the pronouncements of Pope Blessed Pius IX and Pope St Pius X.

Violating that Oath to God against Modernism, which they had all taken and were oath-bound to uphold, surely implies that the vaunted 'spirit of Vatican II' can not have been the Holy Spirit. 

Michael Matt of 'The Remnant' (May 31) reminds us of Sophie Scholl, beheaded by the Nazis in 1941 for disseminating what Stalinda would now call 'disinformation'.
