Six popular children’s books by Dr Seuss are getting the axe as progressives continue to cancel the beloved children's author. The move comes after President Joe Biden appeared to have erased Dr Seuss from Read Across America Day, the annual celebration of reading in honor of the children's author, whose birthday falls on March 2.https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6236807163001
"These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong," Dr. Seuss Enterprises told The Associated Press in a statement that coincided with the late author and illustrator’s March 2 birthday.
"Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ catalog represents and supports all communities and families," it said.
Used copies of the now out-of-print books were being priced by independent sellers on Amazon for hundreds of dollars.
