Don't lose any sleep over Ukraine and the failure of Jorge Mario  Bergoglio's "consecration" of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It failed because like its perpetrator, that "consecration" was a fraud and bound to fail.

But it did remind the world of Our Lady of Fatima and her "Third Secret"- which encapsulates the COVID plandemic, the Great Reset and Bergoglio's demo job on the Church. That scenario is wicked enough but what's coming is worse.

If we don't do as the Immaculata asked (prayer and  penance) we must expect "a global Auschwitz", "fire falling from heaven", inundation of countries and continents, a massive depopulation of the planet, disappearance of the Church and assassination of the true pope, Benedict XVI. 

Note also that in an interview in 1946, the seer of Fatima Sr Lucia confirmed that Our Lady had revealed that if Russia were not consecrated to Her, every country in the world without exception would be overcome by Communism - as New Zealand has been already in fact, if not in name.

But hello! The modernist Catholic Church in New Zealand thinks Fatima is just for pre-Vat II fuddy-duddies. A devout NO priest (imported) admitted to a reader of this blog recently that he didn't know how many  First Saturdays Our Lady requested (five). Most homegrown priests wouldn't condescend to discussing this devotion at all. Perhaps that's for fear of exposing their ignorance. 

But Our Lady of Fatima was, and still is, a time bomb. 

Her prophecies reveal that it will be the legitimate successor to Pope Benedict who will consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart - but not until after the Third Secret of Fatima is revealed during the course of a major war, according to the "Fatima Priest", Father Nicholas Gruner. 

And the Secret will result in a cleansing of the Church.  "The disaster of Vatican II," said Fr Gruner, "will be stopped in its tracks."

Traditional Latin Massgoers - especially in the Wellington Archdiocese where arch-modernist Cardinal John Dew has cancelled the Mass of Ages - can't wait. But barring Rock Masses, wait we must. Fiat voluntas tua.

Why did Pope John Paul II not reveal the Secret? Because Our Lady prophesied the invasion of Western Europe by Russia, and JPII didn't want to encourage Russia "to make certain moves" Our Lady revealed to Sister Elena Aiello, who died in 1961 renowned for revelations she received from Our Lady, and greatly esteemed by Pope Pius XII, that Russia would wage a sudden war, would overrun all of Europe. This, it would seem, is clearly what Pope John Paul II wanted to avoid by not divulging the Third Secret, because it would encourage the communists to make certain moves - in other words, to wage war against the West. 

Behold the futility of opposing God's will: through His Blessed Mother, God declared the Secret should be made known in 1960, and without any such encouragement, all these years later President Putin has begun precisely those "moves" by invading Ukraine.

In his fascinating interview  (https://rumble.com/vyokij-pope-francis-consecration-of-russia-to-marys-immaculate-heart..html). with  a close collaborator of Fr Gruner's, Russian-born Canadian author Jamie Glazov inadvertently shows he is under the influence of the mainstream media by calling Putin "a monster". 

"That's the West's propaganda, the black-out in the media of Russian news," replies Father Paul Kramer, author of several books including To Deceive the Elect, a treatise on Catholic doctrine on the question of an heretical Pope.

"Russia has sought partnership with NATO and has met with aggression. They want Russia dismembered and partitioned. The predatory West has turned Ukraine against Russia."

To Glazov's question, "Is this war in their (the globalists') interests?" Fr Kramer replies in the affirmative. "Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates are cheering on the Ukraine. They want to reshape the entire world, so that they can then bring "order from chaos" ("ut ex chao"). Klaus Schwab" (a mentor of NZ's PM Ardern - ed) "is intent on transhumanism and a digital economy. 

"We should be looking for solutions! This confrontational approach will lead to World War III. We know from prophecy that when a disaster strikes Iran World War III is very near."

We suspect that such is the indifference to Fatima in the Church - or even downright hostility, at least in New Zealand - that very few people know any such thing.

So:

• Russia invades Western Europe
• the pope releases the Secret
• the pope goes into hidiing
• the pope is assassinated
• "a disastrous 2 and a half years or whatever", says Fr Kramer, ensues
• a new pope is elected
• he consecrates Russia (whew! finally!).                           

Bergoglio could not possibly have consecrated Russia to Our Lady, for the simple reason that he is not the pope.  Fr Kramer: "The resignation of "Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI was canonically invalid." 

A pope, Fr Kramer explains, must renounce his "munus", which is the papacy itself, a permanent office received directly from God. He must renounce his pontificate by name. Unlike a bishop who is always a bishop (which in the case of Charles Drennan, ex- Palmerston North, hardly seems fair), when a pope relinquishes his munus he is no longer pope; he reverts to being a cardinal, like Gregory XII. 

Benedict's was "a qualified renunciation of the Petrine munus, not a total one," says Fr Kramer. "He thought he could expand the munus" - that he could share it to some extent. The munus cannot be expanded. It's all or nothing." Benedict did not compare his resignation to Gregory XIII's but to a pope of the first millenium, Benedict XIII, who did not leave office but resigned the exercise of governance of the papacy temporarily, and resumed it when the dispute over that governance was resolved.

In his resignation - a canonical, juridical document defined in law - Benedict XVI mentioned both the munus of the papacy and the ministerium of the papacy, which are differently defined, says Fr Kramer. The ministry (ministerium) of the office of the papacy is not the exercise of the office. It can entail the exercise of the office (the munus) but it is not the exercise by definition. The munus is the office (the papacy) itself. It is not the ministry itself. In his resignation, Benedict stated that he could not perform the ministry, and resigned the ministry. 

In a discourse in Italian soon after his resignation, Benedict explained that although he had renounced the active exercise of the papal ministry, what was "given" to him was "for always". The munus, says Fr Kramer, is connected to the exercise of the ministry but it is not the same as the exercise of the ministry.

"He renounces the ministry! In speaking of was given to him on his election he said, "that is for always"."

Labouring the point perhaps, but it's of critical importance to the Church. If Benedict XVI is still the pope, Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a counterfeit, faux pope who is erecting a counterfeit, faux Church: just as Venerable Fulton Sheen prophesied back in the '50s: 

“The False Prophet will have a religion without a cross. A religion without a world to come. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit (Catholic) church. Christ’s (true Catholic) Church will be one. And the False Prophet will create the other. The false church will be worldly, ecumenical, and global. It will be a loose federation of churches. And religions forming some type of global association. A world parliament of churches. It will be emptied of all divine content and will be the mystical body of the Antichrist. The mystical body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from among our bishops.”

What further invalidates Bergoglio's "consecration" is that all the bishops of the world, as requested by Our Lady, did not take part. Tragically and deliberately, Bergoglio has ensured that would be an exercise in herding cats.The world's bishops should have been ordered to take part, but they were not. Did even New Zealand's bishops all voluntarily perform the consecration publicly, in their cathedrals?

The Third Secret of Fatima revealed apostasy in the Church: a counterfeit pope who will take away the Transubstantiation, a counterfeit Church and a counterfeit Mass (for which Catholics since Vatican II have been groomed by the Novus Ordo Missae, a protestantized concoction which although it's still the Mass in essence is a dumbed-down, tarted-up similitude of the Traditional Latin Mass - ed).

Fr Kramer affirms that what "Pope Francis" has done to change the Church and take away  Transubstantiation is "the very heart of the Third Secret", which reveals:

• there will be a movement in the Church which seeks to abolish the Sacrifice of the Mass
• it will become very difficult to find a valid Mass
• there will be an antipope, a heretic
• eventually, the consecration will prevent "annihilation of many nations.
  
  
  "If it were only that!" was the reaction to that statement of famed exorcist Fr Malachi Martin, who learned the contents of the Secret from sources such as St Padre Pio, and while never explicitly revealing them himself would confirm statements in regard to the Secret that matched what he knew.
  
  In 1980 in Fulda, Germany, Pope John Paul II said it is enough for you to know that entire regions of the earth will be inundated, with water overflowing large regions of the earth, and millions will die from one moment to the next.
  
  Fr Kramer cites promotion of the upcoming Synod by "Pope Francis" by the erection of a statue of Martin Luther - whose stated ambition was to abolish the Mass - in St Peter's Square. Fr Kramer also mentions carabinieri preventing entry to the Square of a statue of Our Lady of Fatima. He believes the Synod is a front for abolition of the Mass, in spite of the Council of Constance (1414-18) having declared it to be beyond the power of the pope to alter even the texts of the Mass.
  
  "This is an Article of Faith! We are bound by the Catholic Faith to profess this! A synod cannot change the wording of the Mass or the Sacraments. No synod has that power. Neither can a pope change what is essential.
  
  "That seems to have been lost on Pope Paul VI, who said of the New Rite (NO): "We used to think the Mass is an untouchable expression of our Faith which could not be changed." "But the pope," says Fr Kramer, is bound by the Council of Constance."

He is taking a major portion of the hierarchy into apostasy, into a simplified synodal Church which is dogma-free and not infallible, a Masonic reform which will constitute a defection. Catholics who follow Bergoglio will follow him into apostasy." Pope Francis has assured a Jesuit superior that he will not leave the papacy until his reforms are irreversible.

  The stated aim of Freemasons in the 19th century was a simplified Christianity which consists of doing good works, a one world religion - an ecumenical church towards which "Pope Francis" is now moving the Catholic Church. Fr Kramer says Freemasons will gain power over world governments and the administration of the Church - but not over the Divine Constitution; that is beyond Satan's power. The Church will go underground.

         Fr Kramer quotes St Hildegard of Bingen, who prophesied that one day people would             prefer their own country's bishops to the pope. (For instance in New Zealand: "we do               things differently here" - ed.)

Jamie Glazov asks whether in today's "Deep Church" it would not seem impossible that the "Sister Lucia" (presented in company with Pope Paul VI as the seer of Fatima) was a fake.

"That seems to be the case,"says Fr Kramer. Forensic examination of her signature proves it was not the seer's, and her refusal of a cardinal's request to autograph a book for him bears that out. "The only thing they (the two Lucias) had in common, says Fr Kramer, was their religious habit."

Fr Kramer sees a relationship between the "Deep Church" and the Covid pandemic, in the prevention of gathering in churches for worship (that relationship is still evident in New Zealand in the continued insistence on masks in church but not in nightclubs - ed).

"The "deep Church" and the "Deep State" are working together, says Fr Kramer. The followers of Satan will gain power all over the world and in the infrastructure of the Church, which will go underground - as Cardinal Manning foretold in 1861:

"Then the Church shall be scattered, driven into the wilderness, and shall be for a time, as it was in the beginning, invisible, hidden in catacombs, in dens, in mountains, in lurking places; for a time it shall be swept, as it were from the face of the earth. Such is the universal testimony of the Fathers of the early Church" - Henry Edward Cardinal Manning, The Present Crisis of the Holy See. Supporting Cardinal Manning's prophecy is St Robert Bellarmine, Doctor of the Church, who stated that the Church might be reduced to only "one province of the world".

"Russia will overrun Europe and then will be invaded by China," says Fr Kramer. "China is more dangerous than Russia. But after the consecration of Russia, the East will save the world.

"Putin is not a monster. He has tried for partnership with NATO, but NATO wants the US to dominate. The globalists are manipulating the situation, distracting us from something else, in the interests of the Antichrist. The blasphemous counterfeit consecration  of Russia by "Pope Francis" will make things worse. The Ukraine has been turned into a stage for aggression against Russia.

Last week, on Monday, a mother I have treated for a number of years started telling me about her 9 years old son complaining of chest pains, breathlessness, constant tiredness and his heart feeling funny. 

He was undergoing multiple tests from the doctor and hospital, including bloods and ECG, and the whole family was feeling worried and traumatised. There was no previous medical history. They only got him jabbed so he could keep doing his sport.

On Thursday, I heard a nearly identical story from another mother, only this time the sufferer was a 16 years old teenage girl. She had no energy and was nearly passing out after the simplest of activity, even standing up from sitting on the sofa.

On Friday, it was a 60 something nursery school teacher. It was the same story and getting worse for her. The day previous, she had believed she was going to die at work, her heart was beating so randomly and the accompanying chest pain acute.

They had one thing only in common.

The covid jab.

I am particularly attuned to this because it happened to me, three days after my first Pfizer jab. I too thought I was dying, and the breathlessness was terrible. I have had a cardiologist later confirm it as vax-induced pericarditis, and he is snowed under with similar cases. He cannot tell me how long it will last, or even if the damage is permanent. After five months, I have few answers. By rights, I should automatically qualify for a six-month temporary exemption from further jabs from the MOH, but Ashley Bloomfield has declined me this formality.

Like many others, the choice is simple- risk long term health and possible death, or quit. Give up my practice. Give up my career. Stop caring for the community I have been so happy to serve for nearly twenty years.

It gets even worse – my wife got jabbed with me, and she now has pericarditis, She is under the same cardiologist. We have two young children.

 

This week, I treated a 59 year-old man who had a heart attack after his booster jab. It was the first question asked of him in hospital – they know what this jab is doing.

I treated a 53 year-old man who also needed heart surgery post-jab.

I had a 41 year-old woman tell me of her best and longest school friend who had suffered a stroke, also post-jab.

And then there was the lady in her 80s with the sudden onset of symptoms identical to my own. She told me that lots of her friends and neighbours were suddenly dying in the retirement village.

My receptionist’s daughter is the same, triple-jabbed and now barely able to function as a nurse.

Our 61 year-old bank teller had her jab, went back to work and promptly fainted. She died later that day.

One story has stayed with me and hit harder than most. A 63 year-old teacher, loved her job and mandated out of it for refusing the jab. Her partner – they were due to marry, gave in to the coercion like me. He died the next day. Some people believe that with most of the mandates being dropped (for now) life is back to normal. Well, it isn’t for her.

And those triple-jabbed who inevitably get covid clearly seem to get it the worst, as backed up by NZ hospitalisation data that you will never see on One News.

 

I see this every day, and we are a small two-surgery practice.

Just how big is this problem?

Is this why we now hear so many ambulance sirens?

A radiologist I treat confirms the same – they are rushed off their feet doing chest x rays, as we are all shunted their way even though we know it is our hearts that are the problem.

Instead, we are asked how much coffee we drink. Are we anxious?

I am in contact with a dentist also struggling like me, and another has a 17 year-old daughter with the same problem. She has been admitted into hospital three times now and has been advised to quit her job.

She is 17! This should not be happening. This should not be allowed to happen.

 I have been hearing these stories every day, and have been doing so for weeks. Months. Nobody dares speak up for fear of recrimination from our professional bodies.

It is nothing short of criminal.

It is time to say no to further jabs that don’t even work, to further restrictions and madcap advice that has nothing to do with health.

Where there is risk, there has to be choice. There has to be clear consent, not coercion and bullying. There has to be discussion, not insults.

It is time that those responsible be held accountable because they know exactly what is happening.

It is time for the truth to be revealed.

It is the time for justice.

He who sups with the devil needs a long spoon

When the Assistant-Governor of the Reserve Bank says a tree is watching over bank employees to make sure that “Tane will not wilt and l lose mana”, we know New Zealand is now utterly pagan. Or utterly stupid. Or utterly woke. Or all three.

Although it's not called the Reserve Bank any more: it's Te Putea. As Amy Brooke notes, that must be what Maori called their Reserve Bank before colonising, raping, plundering Europeans arrived.

Jacinda Ardern will be pretty chuffed about the Reserve Bank praying to a tree. Anything that expedites this country's ruin is grist to her globalist mill of mass depopulation and chaos, out of which Jinping, Schwab, Gates and Co will render order - of a sinister kind.

Writing for the Australian Spectator, Amy Brooke has this to say:

 

In spite of government opposition, a radical report proposing destroying  New Zealand’s democracy, unintelligibly called He Puapua (let’s not give it an English title, or people may begin to wonder what is in it) has been released, because of an appeal under the Official Information Act (OIA). A previous, heavily redacted version was finally released but only as a result of constant pressure.

He Puapua argues for this country to be predominantly governed by individuals of part-Maori ancestry and for those of part-Maori descent — no matter how minimal. A separate parliament and civil service is to govern those identifying as Maori, with, as usual, no definition of who can legitimately be regarded as Maori — in a country where intermarriage has been the norm for 200 years — and where full-blooded Maoris no longer exist.

Its intent is for separate Maori health and court systems; Maori ownership of the foreshore and seabed (now already happening); separate Maori wards on  councils; Maori governance over water and every other possible sphere of influence — such as the reassignment of the entire conservation estate under the Department of Conservation (DOC).

This two-systems approach has already been adopted, with health reforms dominated by a separate Maori Health Authority able to veto government decisions relating to everybody’s health. Under Jacinda Ardern’s supervision, Labour has already pushed legislation through parliament to ensure the public no longer has a say with regard to Maori wards on councils. Moreover, it is envisaged that progress between basically two governments would be overseen by the Aotearoa Monitoring Group, currently chaired by the Maori sovereignty activist, Margaret Mutu.

Larded with increasing numbers of untranslated Maori words and phrases — making it virtually impossible for most New Zealanders to understand — it has been well described as ‘a masterpiece of deceit’. No reference is made to the fact that a previous Independent Constitutional Review Panel examining radicalised Maoris’ call for a Treaty-based constitution found widespread opposition to the proposal, with 96 per cent of submissions opposing it, ‘and 97 per cent vehemently opposed to local government Maori seats’.

What we are being now faced with is apparently prevarication on a grand scale — from the same determined woman who has consistently handed over every possible advantage, with preferential taxpayer funding, to perennially obsessed part-Maori agitators.

Incredibly, some former politicians are simply shaking their heads at Jacinda’s supposed ‘naïveté’. This manipulative politician, adept at projecting compassion and well-being, flashing her famous smiles, and  talking at great length —while  managing to say almost nothing relevant in response to questioning — is dodging accountability by switching to vigorous and indignant Hollywooding, claiming she hasn’t read the document.

She hasn't read the document???  Is this the biggest lie she's ever told? 

Who actually believes her, given that while she claims the report hasn’t found its way to the Cabinet table, and refuses to state her view on its recommendations, her ministers are already implementing some of its communications? Her current ploy is to brush off criticism of this pernicious, fundamentally racist document by accusing its critics of ‘playing politics’. So much for her promise of transparent government.

As historian Mike Butler has pointed out, the plan to implement He Puapua was slipped in under the radar, without troubling MPs or talking to the media. That Labour did not campaign on this in either the 2017 or 2020 elections invites the charge of sheer duplicity.

This same adroit politician appointed the controversial Nanaia Mahuta to crucial portfolios imposing thoroughly undemocratic directions. Mahuta could not possibly have done so without Jacinda’s backing. And if the Prime Minister’s hand is being forced here, who is the puppeteer? To whom does she owe allegiance?

While she has described herself as socialist, in fact socialism is regarded as the smokescreen of communism — to tactically present a more palatable face to the public. Moreover, destabilising a democracy is regarded as a communist coup.

We should be under no illusions. This attack on this country is well under way, as is the Maori sovereignty takeover, assisted by a Prime Minister so foolishly dismissed as merely naive, but who, on the actual evidence — her ongoing promotion of divisiveness and separatism — is bad news for New Zealanders and undermining national unity.

What about government-related official institutions embracing the ridiculous? To simply laugh off what is happening would be a big mistake in relation to the nonsense recently produced by Christian Hawkesby, assistant-governor of the Reserve Bank, now to be known as Te Putea, no doubt to bring it into line with what pre-European Maoris used to call it before their colonist oppressors arrived.

Hawkesby’s recent address to the Institute of Directors centred around the claim that Tane, the God of the Forest, watches over all bank employees. ‘Each day as we walk through the security gates to enter our Wellington offices, Tane Mahuta (New Zealand’s oldest living Kauri tree) ‘looks back at us as a reminder of our responsibility… which is to ensure that “Tane will not wilt and l lose mana”.’ And so on.

Could we ever have envisaged such nonsense — a Reserve Bank official calling on his staff to worship a giant tree to make sure it doesn’t wilt? It’s been pointed out that, ‘Mr Hawkesby is responsible for formulating monetary policy, providing equity in financial markets, managing the foreign reserves, operating interbank payment and settlement systems, and circulation of currency’.

And he puts his trust in a tree.  

It is not his job, if undertaking a personal journey into the psychobabble of animism, to inflict what many regard as less than rational thinking on bank employees. He should be required to resign. Simply calling what he said ridiculous is only a start. His New Age nonsense and arguably racist activism is conduct unbecoming  – not only unacceptable – but with no place in government.

And yet this primitive underpinning of what should be rational advocacies is becoming increasingly pervasive — as with activists’ success in opposing specific project developments because of the claimed presence of taniwhas (mythical Maori monsters).

With New Zealand’s democracy now white-anted by racist policies, we will also deservedly become a laughing stock if our politicians and bureaucrats continue to pay obeisance to primitivism. However, as  Einstein observed, ‘Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.’

FEATHERSTON'S PORNEIA LITURGY: NO COMMUNION ON THE TONGUE

Yesterday was Divine Mercy Sunday. A reader of this blog, travelling home from Wellington, attended Holy Mass at the ironically-named St Teresa of Avila Church in Featherston, where she was refused Communion on the tongue.

Ironically-named, because of all the saints and Doctors of the Church, of whom she is one, surely Teresa of Jesus (to give her the name she took in religion as a Carmelite nun) would be the most appalled by the practice of Communion in the hand, a practice of which she'd probably never heard.

Our reader travelled on, disappointed, and stopped at another church somewhere north of Featherston at precisely 3 o'clock, the start time for the Divine Mercy Adoration. Not realising that, she'd hoped to ask the parish priest if he would give her Communion on the tongue - as she knew he kindly does.

Apart from the Divine Mercy Hour's organiser, she was the first to arrive. They were joined by a total of four parishioners. Afterwards, she asked Father for Communion on the tongue. He refused.

One wonders how mercy - so frequently invoked by "Pope Francis" - was shown to this lone traveller on the Feast of Divine Mercy. 

"Nothing for me on Divine Mercy Sunday," she says. "I only hope I don't offend God by refusing Communion in the hand as I did in Featherston."

No, she didn't offend God. The general rule of canon law is that "sacred ministers cannot deny the sacraments to those who seek them at appropriate times, are properly disposed, and are not prohibited by law from receiving them"; and "any baptized person not prohibited by law can and must be admitted to holy communion". 

True, she was asking the second priest for a favour. But he was in the sacristy at the time.

The priest, therefore, in planning the celebration of Mass, should have in mind the common spiritual good of the people of God, rather than his own inclinations (The General Instruction of the Roman Missal ).

Jonas Alšėnas, writing for OnePeterFive, explains further:

There are many instances of Eucharistic typology in Scripture that can give us insight into the question of whether God favors receiving Communion in the hand or on the tongue. This question is profoundly connected with questions of modesty, chastity, and humility, giving us a new perspective on the connection between liturgical reform and the abuse crisis.

The Last Supper

The first thing to look at is Jesus’s own actions. Defenders of the practice of Communion in the hand cite Jesus’s words at the Last Supper, when, after blessing the bread, he says “take, eat” (Mt. 26:26; Mk. 14:22). The word he uses for “take” is λαμβανω or lambano, which does means not to “snatch” or “grab,” but rather to “accept” or “receive.” Luke’s description of the same event (Lk. 22:19) says, “And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them[.]” The word for “gave” used here is διδωμι or didomi, which means to give or bestow.  It is true that the plain meaning of the words used in these passages does not definitively tell us whether Jesus did or did not place the bread into the apostle’s mouths or their hands. However, in John’s description of the Last Supper, there are additional details.

Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, and said to him: Who is it of whom he speaketh? He therefore, leaning on the breast of Jesus, saith to him: Lord, who is it? Jesus answered: He it is to whom I shall reach bread dipped. And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. And Jesus said to him: That which thou dost, do quickly.

Authors are divided about whether this scene describes a Eucharistic Communion; Augustine and Aquinas argue that it does not (cf. Summa III.81.2 ad 3). At minimum, the moment shows us something about ancient customs (more on that in a moment). The natural way to give someone a partially moistened piece of bread would be to place it directly in the receiver’s mouth, with the giver grasping the dry portion. It would be messy for the giver to place the dipped bread into the recipient’s hand. (For this reason, we see that a moistened host is never placed in a communicant’s hand in any Eastern tradition where intinction is practiced.)

Scholars have determined that ancient Jews commonly ate while reclined at table along one side, not on both sides facing each other. This seating arrangement allows for servants to attend to the table without reaching over or disturbing the reclined guests. Clearly, this is what is happening in John’s description. That is why John, the “disciple whom Jesus loved,” is “leaning back on Jesus’ breast,” relaxed and not uncomfortably contorted. Even today, in Eastern cultures, it is common for people to feed their friends and those they love directly in the mouth. Isn’t that what lovers and particularly parents in all cultures naturally do when they want to give their beloved or their child a taste of something? In the Farewell Discourse that immediately follows Judas’s departure from the Last Supper, Jesus even calls the disciples who remain his “little children” (Jn. 13:33).

Apostolic Privileges 

Returning to the first Holy Communion of the apostles: Even if Jesus did place the host in their hands, it must be noted that the apostles were the first priests. They have every right to handle the host and self-communicate. The Last Supper was a private event. The “multitudes” (or the laity) were excluded. The multiplication of the loaves and fishes and feeding of the 5,000, though not involving consecrated bread, does provide us with a picture of how Communion might have worked with laity present.

He said to them: Bring them hither to me. And when he had commanded the multitudes to sit down upon the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. (Mt. 14:18-9)

 In the Greek, Jesus commands the crowds to “recline” on the grass, ανακλινω or anaklino, not “sit down,” as is commonly translated. Anaklino appears eight times in the Bible. Each time it is used, it describes the feeding of the multitudes or the elect reclining at the heavenly banquet (Mt. 8: 11, Lk. 12:37, Lk. 13:29). The only other time it is used is to describe Mary wrapping Jesus and “laying” or “reclining” Him in the manger (Lk. 2:7). The Church Fathers have always interpreted the manger as a Eucharistic image, since a manger is something that holds food and from which animals are fed. The manger was likely constructed from wood like the Cross, and it is the crucified and glorified Christ whom we feed upon.  The reclining posture and the description of the multiplication of the loaves exactly parallel the descriptions of the consecration of the bread at the Last Supper and the words of consecration at the Mass. Jesus takes the gifts, looks to Heaven, blesses, breaks, and gives to the disciples. Here, Matthew provides an additional detail. “The disciples gave to the multitudes,” foreshadowing that Christ’s in persona Christi priests are to distribute the Eucharistic species to the “multitudes” or laity who are present at the Eucharistic banquet or the Mass, when the bread is not simply blessed, but actually transubstantiated into His body. We don’t know if the multitudes received into the hand or not, but the description makes clear that disciples were the ones who distributed to the multitudes, not volunteers from the crowd distributing to each other.

Old Testament Types

It shouldn’t be surprising that there are several Old Testament examples of receiving Communion in the mouth from God himself or a heavenly designated representative. The best known may be Isaiah.

And one of the seraphims flew to me, and in his hand was a live coal, which he had taken with the tongs off the altar. And he touched my mouth, and said: Behold this hath touched thy lips, and thy iniquities shall be taken away, and thy sin shall be cleansed. (Isaiah 6:6–7)

When the angel takes the burning coal from the altar, it is the Word of God he is putting to Isaiah’s lips, which purifies him. Only God can purify sin, which is why the Eucharist burns when its purity is put in contact with our sin. We can connect this altar with the Lamb (Eucharist) by reference to John’s vision of Heaven, where the Lamb and the altar are associated (Rev. 6:9). Isaiah does not take the Eucharistic “live coal” into his hand and feed himself, it is “touched to his lips” for him. Note that even the seraphim dares not touch the “live coal” with his hand, but rather uses “tongs.”

Jeremiah tells the Lord he is concerned that he will not have the ability to serve Him properly as a prophet.

And the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth: and the Lord said to me: Behold I have given my words in thy mouth[.] (Jer. 1:9)

The word “Lord” here is Kurios in the Septuagint Greek translation; as we know, the early Christians hailed Christ as Kurios. Therefore, the Word Himself puts His own words into Jeremiah’s mouth. Any Catholic would recognize that what is being referred to here, typologically, is the enfleshed Word in the Eucharist. Christ does not place His words in Jeremiah’s hand and tell him to feed himself. Christ feeds him.

Something similar occurs with Ezekiel, who is also concerned about his ability to fulfill Yahweh’s wishes:

And he said to me: Son of man, eat all that thou shalt find: eat this book, and go speak to the children of Israel. And I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that book: And he said to me: Son of man, thy belly shall eat, and thy bowels shall be filled with this book, which I give thee. And I did eat it: and it was sweet as honey in my mouth. (Ez. 3:1–3)

Again, we can see in this scene an allegory of the Word, the Second Person of the Trinity, feeding his enfleshed self to a man by his own hand, directly into the mouth.

Finally, we have the example of the Apostle John in Revelation. Just like Jesus’s baptism in the Jordan, where Heaven opened and the Holy Spirit appeared, John is taken into “the Spirit, and behold there was a throne set in heaven” (Rev. 4:2):

And I heard a voice from heaven again speaking to me, and saying: Go, and take the book that is open, from the hand of the angel who standeth upon the sea, and upon the earth. And I went to the angel, saying unto him, that he should give me the book. And he said to me: Take the book, and eat it up: and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey. (Rev. 10:8–9)

In these chapters of Revelation, there are so many fantastical things occurring with dizzying speed that it hard to be certain who the various angels are or whether they are simply different manifestations of God Himself. However, just as with Jeremiah and Ezekiel, John is given “the Word” enfleshed, in this case as a “little book.” Just like Ezekiel, the Eucharistic Word tastes “as sweet as honey” in his mouth. To underscore and emphasize that only the properly authorized can touch the Eucharistic Word, John takes the Eucharist into his own hand in this passage and places it into his own mouth. John is an apostle and therefore an in persona Christi priest, which is exactly why he can take the Eucharist into his own hands and self-communicate.

God’s Mother Was Not an EMHC

Outside Scripture, we have the example of the Fatima apparitions. It is not at all routine for seers at Marian apparitions to receive the Eucharist. Fatima is unique in this respect. The Holy Mother’s message was to warn the world about the coming horrors of the 20th century and the collapse of the Church if the world did not repent and the “errors of Russia” were not defeated. As part of this, knowing that a lack of belief in the Real Presence and the profanation of the Eucharist would become the norm, would it not make sense for Heaven to show us the proper way to reverently receive the Eucharist? It does, and so we see the “Angel of Peace” give the children Communion on their knees and on the tongue.

 

The Mother of God is not an EMHC - or even a "Special Minister"

Even though the Holy Mother is the Theotokos, the Mediatrix of all Graces, and the Queen of Heaven, and even though she held and nurtured Jesus His entire earthly life, she does not administer the Eucharist herself. She is not an ordained minister of the altar, nor does she play at one like the “extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion” common at Novus Ordo Masses.

At Fatima, the Holy Mother says a lack of modesty in dress offends God very much and that “more souls go to hell because of sins of the flesh than for any other reason.” There is an old saying, lex orandi, lex credendi, which means that we believe the way we pray, but it is also true that who we are affects the way we pray. Sin desensitizes the more it becomes habitual. There has been a general lowering of standards in the modern age, and we have all become acclimated to it. The lack of respect for decency and modesty toward our own bodies means that immodesty toward the glorified Body of Christ doesn’t seem as scandalous, particularly since it has been so widely practiced for so long. Modesty may have disappeared from society, but the glorified body of Christ remains the same forever and always. Christ’s Eucharistic body deserves the same tenderness and reverence that it was once given universally.

The Diabolic Assault on Mystery

God, as the perfect embodiment of all virtues, is modest and humble. We certainly see that in Jesus’s submission to the will of the Father even until death. As Elijah learned, God is not in the earthquake or the fire, but in “a whistling of a gentle air” (1 Kings 19:10–12). God is also usually found only behind a veil, such as in the Holy of Holies or behind the accidents of the priest or the Eucharist. In nature, He is almost always found only behind the veil of physical laws that guide and organize the activity of the universe. He also requires modesty as well as chastity from us, because we are to be perfected in His image. He particularly loves the virginal soul.

Christ is the Bridegroom of his Bride the Church whose nuptials were consummated with the Passion, which is re-presented in the Canon of each Mass. In the Novus Ordo, instead of respecting the delicacy and mystery of this nuptial Sacrifice, there is a pornographic demand to “take it all off,” to unveil everything so that all is seen. The prayers must all be audible and in the vernacular, the altar turned around so everything hidden is exposed. There is no mystery. No one dresses for the coming of the Bridegroom. No one thinks to offer the best of everything he has and to lovingly linger over every detail of the ceremony, the furnishings, the music, and to be on his best behavior. There is no romance. Instead, people demand that anyone and everyone be allowed to barge into the bridal chamber, where they grab at the sacred body with their hands.

The diabolic is characterized by aggressiveness, disunity, and rupturing. The most fully described diabolical possession in Scripture is of the demoniac at Gadara.

And as he went out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the monuments a man with an unclean spirit, Who had his dwelling in the tombs, and no man now could bind him, not even with chains. For having been often bound with fetters and chains, he had burst the chains, and broken the fetters in pieces, and no one could tame him. And he was always day and night in the monuments and in the mountains, crying and cutting himself with stones. (Mark 5: 2–5)

The diabolic is self-destructive, “cutting itself with stones,” similar to what Paul VI described in 1972 as the “auto-demolition” of the Church. The sanctuaries have been sacked; the liturgy has been shredded. When Jesus asked the unclean spirit its name, it said, “My name is Legion; for we are many” (Mark 5: 9).  The curse of Babel has returned, with dozens of Eucharistic prayers now spoken in hundreds of vernacular languages. Worst of all, unshackled priests and bishops offer Mass any way they like and teach their own version of the Faith to meet the “needs of the times.” In Germany, the bishops do not consider it a sin to be in an active homosexual relationship or to be divorced and “remarried” and receive Communion. Just across the border in Poland, both are still mortal sins. Pope Francis has even lent support to the creation of an “inculturated” Amazonian rite of Mass that would be completely outside the Tradition that binds us into one militant, suffering, and triumphant Church.

The Pornographic Urge to Expose and Violate

Luke tells us that the demoniac at Gadara “wore no clothes” (Lk. 8:27). The love of nudity and sex without love also characterize the diabolical. Central to the pornographic impulse is not just the exposure of things that should be kept hidden, but the violation of innocence and purity. St. Paul repeatedly and emphatically condemns porneia, which is Greek for sexual immorality [1].

Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6: 9–10)

 

In the book of Revelation, Jesus lists those who will be excluded from the heavenly Jerusalem.

Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie. (Rev. 22:14–15)

The long list consists of various types of sinners, with one exception, the first thing on the list: “dogs.” Does Jesus have a problem with pets? The same word “dog” is used in Deuteronomy listing the unclean things that cannot be brought into the temple in the earthly Jerusalem.

Thou shalt not offer the hire of a strumpet, nor the price of a dog, in the house of the Lord thy God, whatsoever it be that thou hast vowed: because both these are an abomination to the Lord thy God. (Deut. 23:18)

In other words, do not bring filthy things to the temple as offerings. The earnings of prostitutes and male cult prostitutes (dogs) are disgusting to God and are to be excluded.

We see Jesus make explicit that the first people to be excluded from the earthly and heavenly Jerusalem are sodomites. It is no surprise that the sexual abuse scandals relentlessly rocking and bankrupting the institutional Church are the result of porneia. If the consistent preoccupations of the preconciliar popes are justified, there has been a steady infiltration of not just freemasons and modernists, but also “dogs” who have preyed upon countless innocent child victims in the Church over the decades. These men, who are the embodiment of porneia, are also the men responsible for the predation that has occurred on the mystical and Eucharistic body of Christ. The ravenous legions of Hell have been loosed upon every aspect of Catholic life. The corruption and devastation caused by porneia can be seen on both a physical and a mystical body. This debauched Church is the porneia Church, and because the light of Christ is obscured, we live in a porneia society and a porneia world. Is it any surprise that society demands a porneia liturgy and the porneia priesthood gladly provides it?

 

The same men who have been responsible for the scandals against modesty are responsible for the liturgical world we now live in. There is no coincidence. They have been doing to the innocent Christ in the liturgy and in the tabernacle what they have been doing to our innocent children. No wonder they allow and encourage the inappropriate touching of our Lord’s body by all who present themselves in a Communion line.
