US PAPAL NUNCIO REVEALED AS A NON-CATHOLIC

Faithful Catholics all over the world were punch-drunk already after the repeated assaults on the Church by Pope Francis. Then he fired "America's Bishop" +Joseph Strickland. That was a knockout. They were flat on the canvas.

Now, even before the ref can finish counting down, Catholics are told that 3 years ago Cardinal Christophe Pierre, Papal Nuncio to the United States, informed Bishop Strickland that there is no such thing as the deposit of faith.

Every Catholic is called to adhere to and defend the inerrant deposit of faith - the truths God has revealed through the prophets, the Apostles and mainly through His Son Jesus Christ Our Lord, for the salvation of souls. You don't believe in the infallible deposit of faith, you're not a Catholic. Ergo, the Pope's ambassador to the most powerful nation in the Western world, the Papal Nuncio to the United States, is not a Catholic.

Pope Francis fired Bishop Strickland because he did what any Catholic, especially a bishop, is called to do. He defended the deposit of faith against the assaults upon it by the pope himself and his apostate hierarchy. Clergy throughout the world are too frightened of losing their jobs, like +Strickland, to speak up. It's up to the laity now, as it was during the great Arian heresy.

Our Lord and His Blessed Mother are relying on lay people now to learn the priceless truths of the Catholic faith and to pray, suffer and fast in its defence.

Cardinal Christophe Pierre

Terry Barber of Virgin Most Powerful Radio revealed on Sunday that Pope Francis’ apostolic nuncio to the United States, Cardinal Christophe Pierre, told Bishop Joseph Strickland three years ago that “there is no deposit of faith.”

Barber, who regularly speaks with the faithful and recently deposed prelate of Tyler, Texas, on his radio program The Bishop Strickland Hour, said that according to Bishop Strickland, Pierre made the “shocking” claim at a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

“Bishop Strickland communicated to me that … Pierre confronted [him] and said, ‘Look, the Holy Father is watching you. You need to stop talking about the deposit of faith. There is no deposit of faith.’”

“Well, you can imagine how shocking that is to hear a nuncio say there’s no deposit of faith, because if you don’t believe in the deposit of faith, you’re not Catholic,” continued Barber. “That’s not just my opinion. That’s the Church teaching.”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church explicitly refers to the deposit of faith, stating that “The apostles entrusted the ‘Sacred deposit’ of the faith (the depositum fidei), contained in Sacred Scripture and Tradition, to the whole of the Church.”

The radio host asked for prayers for Bishop Strickland, as well as prayer and reparation for the leaders of the Catholic Church.

“He’s going to be carrying a heavy cross, and he’s being persecuted like the saints have been persecuted for speaking the truth,” said Barber, before going on to ask that his listeners pray that Pope Francis reverses his decision and comes to understand that his role is to “protect the flock.”

Indeed, modernist clerics promoting heterodoxy have frequently been promoted by Pope Francis, as can be clearly seen most recently in his picks for voting members of the Synod of Synodality, which include clerics known for pro-LGBT and other heterodox stances and for animosity for the Latin Mass.

Meanwhile, faithful shepherds like Bishop Daniel Fernández Torres, an outspoken advocate of Catholic teaching from the Diocese of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, are punished. Bishop Fernández Torres was removed from his position by Pope Francis without explanation, reportedly due to his support for conscience objections to COVID jab mandates.

Barber went on to declare, “I’m exercising canon 212 to let our leaders of our Church know that’s unacceptable. We want bishops who are willing to lay their life down for their flock. We don’t want compromise.”

Canon 212 states that “the Christian faithful are free to make known to the pastors of the Church their needs, especially spiritual ones, and their desires,” and that “According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful[.]”

Barber believes laypeople “need to communicate to the Vatican that we’re not happy about this.”

The Holy See’s daily bulletin announced on Saturday, November 11, that Pope Francis removed Bishop Joseph Strickland from his role as bishop of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, without a stated reason.

The striking move by Francis comes against one of the most forthright and vocal bishops in the United States, who has drawn considerable support both from within and without his diocese for his promotion of traditional Catholic teaching.

Bishop Strickland’s more public positions on moral and doctrinal issues include accusing the pope of a “program of undermining the Deposit of Faith,” condemning the prominent pro-LGBT “blasphemy” of Father James Martin, S.J., and urging Francis to deny Holy Communion to former U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi over her support of abortion.

He has also been notably forthright on moral controversies in U.S. politics and culture, including the Biden administration’s spying on Catholics and public displays by self-described “satanic” groups. This summer, he spoke at a protest against the Los Angeles Dodgers’ hosting an anti-Catholic drag queen troupe called the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” who style themselves as grotesque nuns.

Bishop Strickland’s reaction to the news of his removal was remarkably mild. Only moments after, he told LifeSiteNews’ editor-in-chief John-Henry Westen, “I stand by all the things that were listed as complaints against me. I know I didn’t implement Traditionis Custodes [Pope Francis’ decree restricting the Traditional Latin Mass] because I can’t starve out part of my flock.”

He added, “I’d do it the same way again. I feel very much at peace in the Lord and the Truth that He died for.”  https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/terry-barber-reveals-us-nuncio-cardinal-pierre-told-bishop-strickland-there-is-no-deposit-of-faith/?fb

O all ye Carmelite saints, please pray for the Church

  1. Thank you. I have signed the petition. Having read that some American bishops are now openly living with men friends, that Pope Francis is doing nothing about it and is apparently shielding a rapist makes my blood boil that he has done this to Bishop Strickland.

    1. Just as he's doing nothing about the principal of St Patrick's Catholic school in Te Awamutu who's publicly known to be "married" to her deputy principal. The children know all about it and the then-bishop Steve Lowe reportedly said he was powerless to do anything. What the new Bishop of Hamilton, + Laurenson, will do about this in-your-face scandal in the NZ Church remains to be seen.

    2. I believe that some of the parishioners in Te Awamatu actually clapped and congratulated "the couple" after Mass, which shows just how misguided the laity are becoming because of the mess created by Pope Francis in confusing the faithful on the perennial unchanging Church teaching on moral issues.

    3. A doctor friend who worked in a large metropolitan hospital in New Zealand told me the view amongst the doctors at morning coffee was at least half the Catholic priests in the area were active homosexuals. This explains just about everything.

  2. Pope Francis is tearing the Church apart. A few clap, many groan, most leave (especially the young, as soon as they have had first communion). The modernist agenda is a conspicuous failure, yet this is what those who now think they control the Church keep pushing. Why? Any good bishop or priest who stands up for the faith against the modernist ideology gets marginalized or sacked. Why?

    1. They say modernists are no more. All old or dead already. We're dealing with apostates now. Have been for some time, I'd say.

  3. Learn all you can about the Tridentine Mass. Read the catechism. Pray. It's just a matter of time until something happens...big time!

  4. Pope Francis is leading the church into apostasy. Its time Catholics decided whom they will serve God or man. The pope is just a man who knows not God. Bishop Strickland on the other hand wants the Church to be on a biblical route.

    1. The hierarchy - at least the pope's appointees - are apostates and have been for some time; most Novus Ordo Massgoers are unwittingly apostates as well. but so poorly catechised they don't know it. Most wouldn't know what the word 'apostate' means.

  5. You continue to play into Bergoglio's hands, Julia, with your entirely disrespectful abuse of New Mass attenders. Let's not forget that Pope John Paul, Pope Benedict, and Mother Teresa were New Mass attenders. Bergoglio loves to point to Old Mass attenders who denigrate New Mass attenders.

  6. Catholics will need to start to spend a bit of money. Money for petrol to get to the Tridentine Mass and good Catholic books from Amazon or Angelus Press, USA.

  9. If this were a union matter, Bishop Strickland would have a case for unjustified dismissal. As Cardinal Muller has put it, unjustified actions by the Pope erode trust in his office. We are meant, in the Church, to be under the impression that those who speak Truth to power will be largely unimpaired in so doing. I, we agree with John-Henry Westen that Bishop Strickland is like John the Beloved in his attitude. Kia kaha Bishop Joe Strickland, Kia Maia. Your example gives us great heart !

  10. Selwyn R Stevens says:

You mention "Protestantising of the Catholic Church" - you're wrong, this is the continuing paganisation of the Catholic Church which has been ongoing since Constantine. They are as lost as a goose in a blizzard.

    I say:

As a Protestant you can't possibly realise how Satan focuses on the Catholic Church, or why. He hates the Holy Mass, he hates the Most Holy Eucharist because It is Jesus Christ Himself, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. That is why the Church is undergoing, in this evil pontificate, her crucifixion which makes her like unto her Mystical Spouse. May the Holy Spirit open you eyes to the truth.
