Antipope Jorge Mario Bergoglio

Garments were rent in response to this blog's suggestion that the proposed March 25 consecration of Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by Jorge Mario Bergoglio is satanic.

Bergoglio is also political. Take a look at his invitation to “each Bishop” to join him, in the Letter of the Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Christophe Pierre.

Ukraine was one of the first, if not the very first, nation in the world to be consecrated, in 1037, to Mary. And again in 1985. If Bergoglio apes  another consecration and nuclear war ensues, will that not be a cause for great scandal? 

On July 13, 1917, Our Lady foretold her request, saying:

To prevent this,  I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world. In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved; etc…

Her request was formally made in 1929, through one of the children to whom she appeared, Lucia dos Santos who had entered the Carmelite Order: 

The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father, in union with all the Bishops of the world, to make the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means. There are so many souls whom the Justice of God condemns for sins committed against me, that I have come to ask reparation: sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray. (Frère Michel de la Sainte Trinite, The Whole Truth About Fatima, vol. II, 1989, p. 463).

To place the requested consecration in its proper context with the 1917 apparition: 

“To prevent this…”

“This” was WWII. In 1917 WWI was raging. Our Lady said the war would end, “but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI.” The consecration of Russia and the First Saturday devotion, she said, would prevent this.

The consecration was formally requested (as noted above) in 1929.

Devotion to the Five First Saturdays spread rapidly, especially in Portugal, but Pope Pius XI failed to do the consecration. The onset of WWII became obvious during his pontificate, but didn't actually break out until after the election of his successor, Pius XII. 

Since then Russia has been doing just as Our Lady further warned, spreading her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church, martyring the good, and causing the Holy Father(s) to suffer much. 

The only prophetic warning as yet unrealized is the "annihilation of various nations". 

Despite the accuracy of Our Lady’s prophesy, even the name of the pope during WWII – to say nothing of the miracle of the sun on October 13, 1917 which authenticated the Heavenly origins of the apparition – still there are those who downplay the gravity of Fatima and the precise nature of the request that was made.

In New Zealand at least, Fatima is all but ignored. To the Novus Ordo Church Fatima seems quaint, fuddy-duddy Catholicism. So why is Our Lady's request now resurrected, when the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith declared in 2000 that it had been done by Pope John Paul II and nothing further was to be said about it?

Is Bergoglio just being polite, doing the consecration because he's been asked? He's not known for doing what he's asked - for example, answers to the Dubia of 2016, from four cardinals who just wanted a yes or a no.

Our Lady stated the reason for her request: ".God ... is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart."

On June 13, 1929 Our Lady appeared again to Sr Lucia at Tuy and said:

This is the moment when God asks
1. the Holy Father to make,
2. in union with all the bishops of the world,
3. the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart.
He promises to save it by that means. So many are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against me that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.”

 

Reparation is not a new or unusual understanding of consecration. Think of a church building that is consecrated for sacred use. If ever it should be desecrated or profaned, it is necessary for the bishop to “repair” the building, to consecrate it once more. When he does so, the consecration is specific to that place; he does not name a neighboring parish as well, much less the entire diocese just for good measure. 

Every nation on earth is the dominion of Christ the King; each one is, therefore, to be baptized – that is, brought into the life of the one true Church – and taught everything whatsoever that He commanded (cf Mt. 28:16-20). In the face of a nation’s grievous sins, consecration serves as fitting means of reparation.  

NB: It is Russia’s guilt before Almighty God – that specific nation’s sins and the demands of God’s justice – that serves as the context for the requested consecration.

With this background in place, let’s take a closer look at the letter of Archbishop Pierre. It begins:

In the context of the tragic events unfolding in Ukraine, the Holy Father, Pope Francis will lead an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25th next.

At the risk of sounding flippant, what's that got to do with the price of fish? Our Lady's request was made in the context of preventing God's punishment on the world for its crimes, and reparation for sins against her Immaculate Heart,not in the context of ending Russia's invasion of a country which was until recently her own.. 

As I reported in my previous post, the Unholy See, through diplomatic channels, has given Russia assurances that the intent of this consecration is purely humanitarian; it is being done in light of the temporal condition of innocent people.

The "Unholy See" is again living up to its hardwon reputation for temporality.The "Unholy See" has nothing to do with eternal life and is entirely concerned with the here and now.

      Confirming what I reported yesterday, Archbishop Pierre even makes specific mention          of the role that international diplomacy is playing in the matter, stating:

The same information will be shared with the federal authorities in Washington, D.C. and with the Diplomatic Corps of this capital.

Bottom line: The March 25 consecration is just what one should expect from the conciliar counterfeit church, a humanistic operation clothed in religious imagery in order to deceive the naïve. The fact that an effort is underway to have the bishops of the entire world join in the act is an indication of one thing alone, namely, the lengths to which these charlatans will go in order to mock Our Lady of Fatima.
