DING DONG, THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD

"Evil Comrade Jihadi Jacinda Podesta is finished. Her arrogant totalitarianism was, in the end, too much, even for distressingly ultra-compliant Kiwis."

"Yep, yep, that's what this is," in militant assertion of her vaccine-based apartheid, got under the skin of humans, of whom, it seems, sufficient remain to do her in. She is a monster, a Narcissistic psychopath, who finally has been seen through.

Christopher Luxon and National have surged in the polls, not because they are admirable and principled and charismatic—they are not remotely any of the above—but because they are not Pfizer-Pfascist Ardern on a killing spree. "

Lindsay Perigo is not one to mince words. The former broadcaster and classical music buff left TVNZ in 1993, famously complaining that its news and current affairs department was "braindead". He continues to fume about the state of his nation on his website <linz@lindsayperigo.com

"Evil Seymour, who also took a deserved hit in this latest poll because of his abject compliance with all of the above, should take note.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/nation...

One lesson to be learned from the last two years: politics should not be a paid profession. In its present form, it clearly attracts the lowest forms of life, interested only in power over the actual human beings whom they rob blind to pay for their inflated salaries and unconscionable perks.

Ardern, Luxon, Shaw, Mallard and Seymour are all, equally, part of The Filth, and should have no say in our lives whatsoever. Whatever emerges from the recent street-populism of decent human beings, including the beautiful Freedom Village, whom all politicians ignored—be it a political party or a mere movement—one demand must be non-negotiable: No Pay for Politicians.

Let it be noted that the "beautiful Freedom Village" was ignored also by the Catholic Church. Actually, worse than ignored by Cardinal John Atcherley Dew, who lives close by Parliament dahling, and objected to its reality intruding on his La La Land version of Christ's Gospel. But more of that anon.

(The Politicians) should go into the sphere as independently successful humans because they want to uphold the Bill Of Rights—including the right to refuse medical treatment—and their terms should be limited lest any of it should go to their heads.

You may have seen yesterday's Stuff story on the poll alluded to above but we make no apologies for posting it here, just so we can all slaver over it a second time.

National has overtaken Labour in a TV poll for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic – and the Māori Party would hold the balance of power.

The new TVNZ/Kantar Public poll had National at 39 per cent, up seven points and ahead of Labour at 37 per cent, down three points.

That was Labour’s lowest result in a TVNZ poll since being elected.

The Green Party was steady on 9 per cent support while ACT was down three points to 8 per cent.

On these numbers, the right bloc of National and ACT would win 59 seats between them – just below the 61 seats needed to govern. The left bloc of Labour and the Greens would win 58 seats, also below the 61 seats needing to govern.

The Māori Party – presuming it won the seat of Waiariki again – would hold the balance of power with three seats.

The last TVNZ/Kantar Public poll from late January had Labour at 40 per cent support and National at 32 per cent, with ACT at 11 per cent support and the Green Party at 9 per cent.

National has not been ahead of Labour in a TV poll since February of 2020, just as Covid-19 first hit New Zealand’s shores.

The poll was undertaken as New Zealand saw Covid-19 finally rip across the country, with tens of thousands of cases a day.

It also comes as rising prices have stung the Government – particularly spiking fuel prices brought on by Russia’s war with Ukraine.

Actually we thought rising prices had stung the voters rather more than the Government, particularly spiking fuel prices, as the pollies prefer to fly, dahling, and their flights are paid for - by us.

Labour leader Jacinda Ardern also saw a drop in the preferred prime ministerial stakes, down one point to 34 per cent, while National leader Christopher Luxon rose eight points to 25 per cent.

When asked directly to pick between Ardern and Luxon, 46 per cent chose Ardern and 45 per cent chose Luxon.

Ardern and Luxon - spot the difference ..

Stuff did their best to salve Ardern's bruised feelings by burying those figures at the bottom of the story. The emphasis, of course, is ours.

And just for a laugh we publish the little puff piece that accompanies every Stuff story:

"(O)ur mission is to make Aotearoa a better place for everyone.

To do that, our political reporters commit to reporting without fear, bias or favour; uncovering the misuse of power; pursuing the truth no matter how challenging the truth may be; and serving the public by safeguarding their democratic rights."

  1. It was a cheap, media driven poll. Luxon is having a honeymoon. He is Ruth Richardson in drag. Vote Labour for common sense and democracy.

If the software allowed it, I'd repost the "crying with laughter" image (above). You're joking, of course.

    2. Definitely, one poll and the right think they've won an election 18 months away,

    3. My comment may have been influenced by the dissapointment experienced. We had had a gutsful of Rogernomics free market reformd. Bolger and Richardson gave us an extra helping and broke every promise made especially to the elderly. Bolger looked a relative of mine in the eye and assured him that Super would not be touched. It was. And because of corporation of electricity, Hey presto, we got 3 different ways to pay our power bill but couldn't get treatment for cancer. I've never voted for National since. It has always been a businessman party anyway. At least Jacinda gave us a winter heating allowance.

Julia, dont start celebrating the demise of Ardern too soon, although it's hard not to feel some optimism. Ardern was lucky to get three disasters to propel her to power - the mosque shootings, White Island, and Covid. She played the politics well, playing up the fear factor and tapping into the public disquiet. Ardern thus gained an unprecedented parliamentary majority and has used it to advance her radical social agenda. Now that Covid hysteria seems to be coming to an end, Labour will have to face scrutiny of its appalling financial and organisational mismanagement. Hopefully by November next year Ardern will be gone, then what will Luxon do?

I expect there to be a lot less parishioners in our churches, because our hierarchy over played the Covid fear factor, instead of using our faith to unite the flock. For Catholic souls, this may be the biggest disaster.

Oh, I'm not celebrating. I'm inclined to think Ardern is doomed to success. But I couldn't resist posting Linzs' fulminations, which I knew many would enjoy. Call it vicarious wishful thinking.

  4. When the country votes this Govt. Out it'll be super-luxon, & wham- bang into fully digitised currency (c/ WEF). That's the next stage of the Great Reset. Of course, Labour could decide to push ahead on that after winning the next election. The 3rd stage will be tying up the loose ends around the greening of the economy. So goes the plan. Robin Hood.
