Plank of the Week: so happy that she's created two classes of New Zealanders

Standover tactics: that's the only way to describe the treatment accorded a reader (unmasked) of this blog at her local pharmacy yesterday.

On a previous visit the pharmacist was not pleased to be told she didn't have to tell him the reason for her mask exemption. This time he tightened the screws. A sales girl invited her ever so nicely to wait for her script "in the consult room". Our reader knew what was coming: the pharmacist.

"Can you show me your exemption?" he asked. She could. "It looks like a bit of paper," he said. Well, yes - laminated and in a pin-on label thingie. "Who gave it to you?"

She refused to answer, on the grounds that it might be taken down in writing and used in evidence against her. Just joking. What she said actually was, "I'm not going to tell you." He was even less pleased.

She's not going to be inveigled into the 'consult room' again. She says he can conduct his next interrogation in the public space in front of his other customers. And she knows what the next interrogation will be: "can I see your vax certificate?"

The pharmacist's learned a thing or two, obviously, from the bully-boy standover tactics of Prime Minister Ardern - who yesterday was awarded Plank of the Week on a Talkradio TV show in the UK, after an hour-long debate that included contenders such as UK prime minister Boris Johnson.

One of the panelists described Ardern as ‘creepy’, joked about her telling the people of New Zealand not to talk to their neighbours – described as a “low moment” in the country’s history by panelist Laura Dodsworth.

Show host Mike Graham also chided Ardern for saying the only source of truth when it came to Covid was from her government “Oh, really”, he smirked.

“She’s been reading too much Chinese politics,” said panelist Russell Quirk.

Graham also says that he had planned to visit New Zealand but now wouldn’t saying “I don’t want to waste my time going there”.https://thebuzz.nz/jacinda-ardern-awarded-plank-of-the-week-on-uk-tv-show/

Ardern is an embarrassment. She's made New Zealand a laughing stock. So what are we Kiwis who are stuck here - unlike Sir Russell Coutts who's popped back home to declare NZ is a dictatorship - going to do about Ardern?

A GP speaking on condition of anonymity says doctors across New Zealand have been faced with distressed patients as a result of Jacinda Ardern’s decision to strong-arm the public into being vaccinated against covid-19.

The doctor, who is pro-vaccine, says GPs have been prevented by the government from issuing exemptions to the Pfizer vaccine and claims exemptions already issued will be withdrawn by the health authorities.

“Patients have been able to get exemptions from wearing masks because it stops your oxygen flow,” says the GP. “But an exemption from the vaccine is very difficult now.

“The advice from the Ministry is clear – the only people who qualify for medical exemption to the vaccine are those who have had an anaphylactic reaction to the first vaccine or suffered an anaphylactic event previously.

“There are some GPs who are about to be struck off by the Medical Council, some have written lots of exemption letters, which are worthless now,” says the GP.

However, according to the Ministry of Health exemptions will be available to certain people based on a clinical assessment from 6 November 2021 and the person who decides if an exemption is issued is Chris Hipkins, the government’s Covid Response Minister.

Hah. Head Prefect Hipkins.

The ministry says that in some situations, health and disability, education and corrections workers may be able to get an exemption from being vaccinated against covid-19.

Section 7a of the government’s Vaccination Order provides the criteria the Minister must consider when deciding whether to grant an exception.

In short, health and disability, education and corrections workers wanting to apply for an exemption will need to get a doctor’s note and send it to the headmaster, er Mr Hipkins ...

Nah. Head Prefect Hipkins. And in Ardern we have the Headmistress from Hell.

... to review and sign it off (or not as the case may be).

With regard the Pfizer vaccine, the GP says official data shows immunity against the Covid-19 virus drops within three months and certainly within six months. Hence talk of the boosters.

And for unvaccinated patients visiting this doctor’s clinic in the future will soon have to go into a segregated area for a consultation.

“Within the next couple of weeks unvaccinated patients will be seen in a separate area of the clinic and that includes children who can’t be vaccinated.”

We just hope and pray there are more GPs out there who can find the courage to speak up, even if only on condition of anonymity (such being the state that Stalinda has reduced NZ to).

Then there's the redoubtable Ken Orr of Right to LIfe NZ. Earlier this week he stated:

"The government of Jacinda Ardern is threatening the human rights of New Zealanders by declaring that general practitioners, chemists, midwives, paramedics and rest home staff, primary, secondary teachers and pre-school staff have a duty to be vaccinated in order to retain their employment. Who will be next?

It is an appalling injustice that the state should threaten tens of thousands of workers in New Zealand with the loss of their employment and income to feed and provide for their families if they refuse an order to violate their conscience by taking the Pfizer vaccine.

The government has decided that these important professionals are a serious threat to public health if they exercise their legal right to choose not to accept the Pfizer vaccine.
Right to Life questions why persons who refuse to take this experimental medical treatment being treated as a serious public health threat when those who are vaccinated are just as likely to carry and spread Covid as the unvaccinated.
On September 20, 2020, Jacinda Ardern was quoted as saying “Not only will there be no forced vaccinations, but those who choose to opt-out won’t face any penalties at all”.

Mandatory vaccinations violate the Nuremburg Convention, the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990, which protects the right to life, the right to refuse medical treatment, and the right to practise one's religion. The Human Rights Act 1993 includes the right not to be discriminated against. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights protects the right to privacy.

Right to Life accepts that the government has a responsibility to protect public health and asks,” why we should trust the government to protect the lives and health of the community when it authorises and funds the killing of more than 13,000 defenceless unborn New Zealanders every year?”
Right to Life supports voluntary vaccination with ethically produced and developed vaccines which are safe and effective. The long term adverse reactions to the Pfizer vaccine are not known as the study does not conclude till January 2023.
Right to Life cannot support this government’s contention that the seriousness of the current pandemic overrides these concerns. We believe that recent evidence shows that those taking an mRNA "vaccine" are potentially permanently altering their body's immune system in ways which are not fully tested, researched or understood.
Right to Life is disappointed that the government is giving no choice to choose an ethically produced and tested vaccine. We are therefore opposed to mandatory vaccination for the following reasons:
  • Mandatory vaccination is a violation of human rights.
  • The state is ignoring the conscience of many in the community who are opposed to accepting the Pfizer vaccine. Taking it would be a violation of their conscience, as it has been tested using a cell line derived from aborted babies.
  • The benefits of the Pfizer vaccine do not justify the state imposing the mandatory vaccination on a sector of the workforce. According to data published in the Lancet, the effectiveness of the Pfizer vaccine in combatting the Delta variant, diminishes rapidly over time. After six months of full vaccination it diminishes in effectiveness from 88% to only 65%.
  • The government wishes to establish safe areas free of Covid 19 by excluding the unvaccinated. This ignores the fact that the vaccinated may carry the virus and spread it to others.

The Lord will guard you from evil,

He will guard your soul.

The Lord will guard your going and  coming

both now and for ever.
