NZ A DICTATORSHIP - SIR RUSSELL COUTTS IS NO BOILED FROG

Russell Coutts and Peter Blake hold up the Auld Mug after defeating Team Dennis Conner in the 1995 America's Cup in San Diego.

"It seems totally insane that double-vaccinated people are terrified of meeting unvaccinated people. Is that how it's going to be for the rest of our lives?"

Sir Russell Coutts, no less, sheds a little ray of light on our benighted country. (If you're among those who think watching yachting is as exciting as watching paint dry, Coutts, 59, is an Olympic gold medallist and five-times America's Cup winner.)

The NZ Herald, being in Ardern's pocket like the rest of the media, would have us believe that Coutts' Facebook posting yesterday is all because "plans for the inaugural Christchurch round of SailGP set for the end of January next year were sunk due to the New Zealand Government's denial of access to MIQ facilities for the 160-odd contingent of teams and staff to enter the country."

Hah. The reason why someone like Coutts can recognise Ardern, Robertson&Co as "a dictatorship" is, he's been based in Europe since May. Unlike the rest of us, he's not a boiled frog. He puts his finger right on the spot: if the vaccine works, why are the vaxxed frightened of the unvaxxed? And if the vaccine doesn't work, why take it?

"After experiencing what it's like in Europe since May, it appears there are a lot of things being misreported in New Zealand. The media here seems set on promoting fear.

Sounds like Coutts hasn't caught on yet to the fact that the media here are paid to promote fear. They've been sweetened, to the tune of $55million, by the Government.

It would be interesting to send a truly independent news crew offshore to report on what it's really like in a more balanced way ... I suspect most kiwi's (sic) would be incredibly surprised."

Sir Russell, you're not kidding. Kiwis have been hornswaggled big-time.,.

"If you doubt what I'm saying then turn on the TV and check out the full stadiums at various sports events overseas. Check out the Premier League, Champions League or the recent Ryder Cup. The All Blacks just played against the USA in front of 40,000 fans in Washington DC.
"The fact is that people are living with Covid offshore and although some people, perhaps many, rightly remain cautious, life has largely returned to normal in many places. But that is not what we are being told here in New Zealand.
"The erosion of our freedom of choice, freedom of speech and the loss of precious time with family and friends and all the other negative aspects of a lockdown should be balanced against the health risk of Covid. Imagine if we had invested the 1 billion plus spent each week on lockdowns on improving our health system, education or roading (we had 8 road deaths in NZ last weekend).

The double-vaxxed Coutts is obviously a Covid believer. He hasn't heard of the vaccine deaths in NZ - yet. Or the hush money reputedly offered to grieving parents.

It seems totally insane that double-vaccinated people are terrified of meeting unvaccinated people. Is that how it's going to be for the rest of our lives? What about the people that have health issues and can't get vaccinated? Are they going to be banished from society? (for the record I'm double vaccinated)
Finally the fact that the NZ government has now said that even if Auckland achieves 90% double vaccination that it's (sic) people may likely still be restricted from traveling at Christmas seems like a total nonsense.
(For those overseas people reading this, Auckland already has 93% first dose and 82% second dose vaccinated - the entire country has 87% first dose and 72% double dosed).
It's also total nonsense and contradictory that double-vaccinated people that have negative covid tests are being locked down for 14 days in MIQ whilst people with Covid are being allowed to self-isolate in the community.

Anything to keep the virus going, Sir Russell. And the fear. It's all about control: getting us used to masking up, signing in, to surveillance and eventually having to hand over our "papers".

How New Zealand, a country where it's (sic) people greatly valued freedom of choice.....how we even got to this stage of blindly accepting this sort of unilateral rule, power and dictatorship from our government is deeply troubling indeed.

We got here by enshrining "my body my choice", and the ensuing massacre of the unborn, in the Labour/Greens Government legislation. God will not be mocked! The ironic reversal of fate in the Government's determination to force New Zealand to submit to vaccination is richly deserved, especially by the Catholic Bishops for their complicity in the heinous crime of abortion.

Since passing the Abortion Law Act the Government has radically changed its tune. Now it's "Your body, NOT your choice" - not any more. Not unless we pray. And RESIST.

The unvaxxed are more worried about the vaxxed because the poor buggers have sacrificed their long term health on the promise of “immuniddy” from a pathological liar.

Ivan yes, the vaxxed are afraid and will become more so as time goes by. They are genuinely in need of genuine kindness.
