"We watch the riots of the violent racist Black Lives Matter/Antifa. We watch continuing Moslem terrorism all around the world."
Herewith - not seeking to be provocative or inflammatory (never!), but in the interests of balance in your news intake - a guest post from one Leo Leitch, veteran prolifer and prolific letters-to-the-editor writer. Yes, that's right, the guy featured in a recent Dominion Post story who stood up in his pew at Mass and addressed the lector, as he announced the first reading, as "You buffoon!" on account of his Black Lives Matter t-shirt.
"We watch the growth of feminist demand for the legalisation of abortion
on request (like the removal of a mole) and for school sex lessons, which need to be taught like arithmetic.
We watch the demands of homosexualists not just for acceptance but for
the advancement of their lifestyle, including sodomy lessons in our schools.
We watch aggressive racist road blocks in our country, and we see the
wholesale replacement of English language place names with Maori language place
names.
We watch our police being ordered to invade the homes of citizens who
have expressed conservative opinions. We watch the arrest in
our country of street preachers who preach Christianity.
We see our main stream media publish an op-ed which calls for the
Catholic Church to be identified as a hate group. We read and
watch our main stream media distort, falsify and suppress news and other
information of a conservative viewpoint.
We have seen our Prime Minister outlaw the internet viewing of the
“manifesto” of the eco-fascist Chch mosque killer on the basis that it might
influence others to follow his example, but we have noticed that she has
imposed no such ban upon the highly inflammatory video of a U.S. policeman
kneeling on the neck of an arrested criminal suspect.
We have discovered that our current Government has surreptitiously
signed up to the United Nations Immigration Pact, which gives the UN the say
in what refugees/immigrants we take, where they should come from, their
ethnicity/culture, and how many.
We have seen threats of violence from groups such as the Auckland Peace
Committee and the Moslem community bring about the closing of Auckland venues
to a couple of Canadian visitors who wanted to speak in defence of Western
Christian civilisation. And we have seen similar thugs bring
about the cancellation at Massey “University” of a scheduled address by a
former Parliamentary Leader of the Opposition.
And, watching all of these apparently disparate, unconnected affairs,
you might wonder, understandably, what’s goin’ on. Why is all
this stuff coming along now ?
It can be baffling, confusing, trying to work it all
out. Here’s the quite simple explanation:
All of the groups (and individuals) responsible for the above have one
objective in common – the annihilation of Western (Christian) civilisation,
although their “useful fools”, those brainwashed by the tv 'news' and by the
major newspapers, haven’t yet twigged to that.
Aah!!! Scales fall from eyes.
So, if you value and cherish our Western civilisation, stand firm against
all of the above. Now is not the time to duck for cover!
So on the Vigil of the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus it would seem right to pray -
- Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Have mercy on us Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Have mercy on us Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Have mercy on us. |

It makes one wonder if it is safe to invite the liberal media into your Catholic home and sincerely discuss cultural issues if they are going to treat you this way.
There is an analysis of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) organisation here:
https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/special-report-black-lives-matters-true-agenda
The fact that BLM is pro LGBT, pro-abortion and pro Marxist would not worry some people. It does not seem to worry those in our Palmerston North Catholic hierarchy who suggested in our latest 3 in 1 newsletter of 21 June (12th Sunday in ordinary time) that we read the following article on BLM:
https://www.biola.edu/blogs/good-book-blog/2020/black-lives-matter-or-all-lives-matter
The article seems to neatly subordinate Christ's teaching to BLM in the interests of being with the spirit of the age.
Radical political movements should not be promoted on t-shirts worn to Mass or in parish newsletters, without first clarifying that movement's seemingly extreme nature. We should all oppose racism, but BLM is too much more.
Well written, Julia. The Italian Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci is worth researching on all of this. Change the culture of society (its Christian values) and the revolution will follow.
