'GENIUS' JOE, +CULLINANE FORGET THE FAITH

Novus Ordo carried to its logical conclusion

"No, don't come to Mass with me.” A would-be convert to the Novus Ordo Catholic Church of Palmerston North Diocese, who’s regularly attended the Latin Mass overseas, doesn't want her parents (good, educated Protestants) to form a bad impression of the Catholic Church.

That's quite an indictment of the modernist Church foisted on the diocese by its first bishop, +Peter Cullinane, and now steered towards the same end - self-destruction - by Fr Joe Grayland of the cathedral parish.

The fruits of +Cullinane and Grayland's theology were evident on the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ yesterday, when a protege of +Cullinane’s informed his congregation that in Communion "we don't receive the Man who once walked this earth. No! We receive each other". That's a point-blank denial of the source, summit and cornerstone of Church teaching - the Real Presence of "the Man who walked this earth", in His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Holy Eucharist. In other words it’s heresy.

And we are indebted to the modernist Marist Cathnews for telling us what we'd rather not know: that for the liturgy of the word +Cullinane now wants us to form small groups, chatting on chairs instead of pews; and that Fr Grayland, quoting Einstein, defining himself as Einstein’s “genius who masters chaos” on our behalf, assures us that "the Church that promised us it would never change, changed".

No, Fr Dr 'Genius' Joe Grayland, the Church has not changed. She cannot. The Mystical Bride of Christ is "indefectible" an adjective which the letters after your name prove you know very well means "perfect", meaning “not liable to decay”. It's her members who, sadly, are only too subject to change and decay. QED.

The problem in PN Diocese may be partly its provincial nature and - the Novus Ordo's dumbed-down banalities having bled the Church of most of her educated, professional members - the aging priests and people remaining are only too easily impressed by "intellectuals" and "theologians" as they suppose +Cullinane and Grayland to be.

But what rears its ugly head, in a Mass shaming and embarrassing to faithful Catholics and Protestant would-be converts alike, is pride - a lack of proper humility which is evident in the texts of the Novus Ordo and in its interpretation by the likes of +Cullinane and Grayland: vide the former's preference for chairs over pews. He must have been told, by those who've tried, how hard it is to kneel with a chair behind you and how impossible, while kneeling, to lean against the chair in front. And PN Diocese has all too vivid memories of +Cullinane's confused 'catecheses' re kneeling for the Eucharistic Prayer, which had the presumably desired effect of most of the terminally bewildered standing for the Consecration - to this day. And it's hard not to notice how even people on the liturgy roster sweep into Holy Mass without pausing to bend a knee to Our Lord in the tabernacle.

Pope Benedict XVI tells us:

The Hebrews regarded the knees as a symbol of strength; to bend the knee is, therefore, to bend our strength before the living God, an acknowledgment of the fact that all that we are we receive from him ... Kneeling is not only a Christian gesture, but a christological one ... It is precisely this humility, which comes from love, that is the truly divine reality and procures for him the “name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth” (Phil 2:5-10) ... All bend the knee before Jesus, the One who descended, and bow to him precisely as the one true God above all gods. ... The humble gesture by which we fall at the feet of the Lord inserts us into the true path of life of the cosmos ... The devil was compelled by God to show himself to a certain Abba Apollo. He looked black and ugly, with frighteningly thin limbs, but, most strikingly, he had no kneesThe inability to kneel is seen as the very essence of the diabolical. https://adoremus.org/2016/11/power-knee-catholic-liturgy/

Einstein, says Fr Grayland PhD, wrote ‘the stupid need order; the genius masters chaos’ and he proceeds to master it on our behalf, because "the genius can see beyond the current chaotic circumstances by seeing the order in the chaos" - and incidentally identifying himself, by presenting the mainstream media's version of the war in Ukraine, not just as a genius but as a lefty or a sucker (or both).

He doesn't waste too much time on the Silly Synod. One suspects Grayland sees it for what it is, and as an aggrieved participant described it - "exercising energy on yet another think tank that will inevitably go nowhere": only it's going somewhere all right, and that somewhere is the New World Religion and the New World Church, headed (if he lives long enough) by the Most Benign Bergoglio; and the poor souls still sitting in the NO pews (sorry, chairs) will find themselves caught in this mass apostasy and dragged by the demons they've been told no longer exist down to the hell whose flames will exist for ever.

The synodal process brings old and new grievances to the fore. The grievances show we have more work to retain members, recruit them back, restore trust, and open new pathways.

Yes indeed, Fr Grayland, because 'Mr Global' (Gates, Fauci, Soros, Schwab etc) want enough of the falsely obedient and/or stunned sheep handing in their Planned Giving envelopes or clicking on the money-snatching machines in church foyers with which the Cullinanes and Graylands have replaced holy water fonts, enough to keep enough Catholic Church property running for a facelift, a makeover, in the not-too-distant future, into the New World Church the Freemasons have been planning since 1717.

REMAIN ON SPIRITUAL ALERT! You are seeing the wolves in sheep's clothing (Mt 7:15) leading the People of God toward the spiritual abyss, and you accept it with such weakness and coldness that you may wake up being part of the tares -MESSAGE OF ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL TO LUZ DE MARIA, JUNE 18, 2022.

So after much mulling in the marsh of "chaos" over mothers of gay children wanting to attend their weddings, over Latin Massgoers wanting to attend their Mass, and over migrants wanting their "devotional form of Catholicism", the wolf disguised as Fr Dr 'Genius' Grayland concludes:

We, the Church, need ... a mature engagement with the world from a community of mature people who believe, live and pray in the “real world”; an authentic adult Church; the authentic sacramental conversation partner immersed in a chaotic world that is also God’s playground ... Embrace it!

"God's playground." Really? The world which has forgotten God and consequently has gone stark raving mad and utterly deserving of the tribulation He is now visiting on it (and we ain't seen nothing yet), where Christ is crucified day and night, suffering terrible torments, is God's playground? Mothers of gay children, Fr Grayland, must be told that those children are in mortal sin which if unrepented before death means eternal damnation.  That’s what the Church’s “indefectibility” means: she teaches God’s word which never changes because the truth cannot change. You, Fr Grayland, are responsible for that poor mother and her eternal welfare, and you will answer for it personally at your particular judgment. We would not like to be in your shoes.

"Embrace it (the chaotic world)!"

Fr Grayland! Wash your mouth out! Love not the world, nor the things which are in the world. If any man love the world, the charity of the Father is not in him (1 Jn 2: 15).

And speaking of Freemasons, in the same edition of Cathnews Bishop 'Emeritus' Cullinane worries about the liturgy of the word not 'connecting'. He says it requires of readers 'a sense of the wonder and the drama of God among us'.

So while Fr Dr 'Genius' Joe Grayland embraces the world, which as St John puts it means he cannot embrace God, +Cullinane seems to do exactly that, by becoming "alive to Christ’s real presence".

But it turns out - no surprises here, we've heard this from +Cullinane for ever and we see the evidence in steadily emptying pews - that he doesn't mean Christ's Real Presence at all.

(W)e become alive to Christ’s real presence – in the congregation … ;  in the word  … ;  in the ministry of those ordained  … ;  and especially in the Sacrament .

These different manifestations of Christ’s real presence invite different ways of responding. The appropriate way of responding is the appropriate way of being reverent.

Where Grayland manifests lack of love, +Cullinane manifests lack of faith. Christ is Really Present in only one way: in the Eucharist, the Sacrament of the altar; and the fruits of +Cullinane's years of catechesis are shown by Catholics' 'inappropriate' way of being reverent, such as:

·                     rarely if ever visiting Him in the tabernacle

·                     not genuflecting to the tabernacle

·                     talking in church

·                     receiving Our Lord in grubby hands, standing instead of humbly kneeling

·                     Father's manner of saying Mass, which is likely to be casual

·                     he's likely to stroll off mid-Mass, leaving Our Lord alone on the altar

·                     he might break off during Mass to have a chat

·                     if the tabernacle's in its proper place he says Mass with his back to Our Lord

·                     he's very likely to deny Our Lord to the faithful who kneel to receive on the tongue, which is the Church’s approved way to receive (Fr Grayland seems to have had a change of heart in this regard but just wait for the next virus to turn up)

·                     Father has a chat to the congregation at the end of Mass and goes through notices while Our Lord is still present in his soul

·                     the congregation sit rather than kneel, after Communion, and might have a chat while Our Lord is still present in their soul

·                     Everyone sings a banal song about us more than about Him while Jesus is still present in their soul.

·                     Everyone including Father leaves the church while Jesus is still within their soul.

When received the sacred Species lasts physically for 15 minutes or so, and every one of those minutes is occupied with anything but listening to the Lord and speaking with Him. In the NO we could be forgiven for thinking every effort is made to distract us from spending time with Him. Those most precious moments of our entire life are wasted - or worse, our cavalier treatment of our God and King will count against us severely at our particular judgment, and even more so will it count against priests who at the very least have allowed this to happen - or even encouraged it, or deliberately set about making it so.

If +Cullinane genuinely wanted the readings to 'connect' he would advise that Father proclaim them, as the priest always did pre-Vatican II, when the evidence of Mass-going and conversions would seriously suggest that the readings 'connected' far, far more than since the advent of girls in mini-skirts or tight jeans or worse, middle-aged or elderly women in same, or boys or men in t-shirts instead of shirt and tie. Clothing aside, the priest's proclamation of the word is supernaturally boosted by nature of his ordination. Proclaiming scripture is one of those ministries a priest is ordained to do. It is not in the job description for wives, husbands, singles or sole parents, boys or girls.

There is a paradigm for this in St Luke’s Easter story about the two disciples “on the road” who were “talking about all that had happened” and were down-hearted, (Lk 24:13-35). He explained the meaning of the scriptures to them.'

Exactly. It is the Real Presence of Christ who will explain the meaning of the scriptures. But most Catholics no longer BELIEVE in that Real Presence! That's obvious from the way they behave at Mass (as noted above). They do NOT believe He is there in the tabernacle. At least one priest in PN Diocese has even said as much to a parishioner. Does that priest believe then, that something happens to the Host between altar and tabernacle? Does he believe the Host changes back into a wafer of bread? Or what? From the behaviour of Massgoers towards the tabernacle, if they believe they receive Christ in the Eucharist, they must also believe that by the time the tabernacle door is locked, He's changed back into bread again. Or don't they believe anything?

How can we make our celebrations of the Eucharist more like the discussion on the road?

Simply by spending time with Jesus, like the disciples did. They knew Christ because they'd been with Him for years, so when He talked to them on the road, even though He looked different, they heard Him and their hearts burned within them. And we must treat God in the Mass like God.

He was alive and present to them.

Exactly. He does not seem alive and present to us, because the NO Missae (Mass) doesn't treat Him as if He were alive and present to us. We must treat God in the Mass as He is, as God.

+Cullinane suggests, before his small-group liturgy of the word, that we have 'a short penitential rite.' Carry us home to die. How much shorter can it get? God has made known to us our salvation through the repentance of our sins (the Benedictus). Our salvation - eternal life as opposed to eternal death in hell - depends on our repentance for our sins. That's why in the Traditional Latin mass the priest says the whole Confiteor and then the server repeats it, both bowing profoundly in humility, and then the Kyrie (Lord have mercy) is repeated three times - not just once, as in the NO.

In fact it's humility that is gone from the Mass and humility is the foundation stone for all the other virtues. The modern Catholic, at least most of those catechised by +Cullinane and Grayland, has no idea of who he/she is before God: a mere NOTHING, a worm capable by themselves spiritually of nothing but sin. Capable by themselves physically of nothing too, but the NO Mass gives us no idea, no realisation of the fact that if God forgot us for a fraction of a second we would cease to exist.

Small groups at Mass! OMG! We say that sincerely. 'Sharing' our feelings. How utterly awful. Do we go to Mass to talk to one another, or to talk with God? Well, many do go to church to talk to one another, but they do it before and after Mass - and largely in the church where one or two other Massgoers are trying to pray.

And sitting on chairs! Having burned or scrapped our altar rails in the spirit of Vat 2, will we now burn any remaining pews? That's Cullinane's most freemasonic idea ever: chairs instead of pews will eliminate kneeling once and for all. Have you ever tried to kneel in front of a chair, with another chair in front of you? Brilliant, Bishop Peter! You will decimate what remains of congregations after the bishops' collective efforts at emptying our churches during the scam/plan/mandemic.

'Paul and Barnabas assembled the church and gave an account of all that God had done with them.'

Exactly. What God had done with them, not what the nice lady with the gorgeous shoes in their group had done with them. Holding Paul and Barnabas up as an example reminds us that we are at Mass so that God, not Mrs Thingummyjig, can do things with us.

+Cullinane is still insisting on putting the cart before the horse - the Second Commandment before the First. We are not at Mass, we are not Catholics, primarily to 'deepen our relationship with one another' but first to deepen our love of God, which is the only way to deepen our relationship with one another.

Our bishop had his mistake illustrated abundantly at an NO Mass yesterday attended by (oops, we must remember now not to say 'attended', but 'celebrated'. So, at an NO Mass 'celebrated' by a reader of this page, veering from heresy into something dangerously close to idolatry, Father told the congregation they weren't just celebrating Corpus Christi, they were celebrating Matariki and the rise of the stars - with which the congregation also rises. Just waiting now for 'Prayers of the Faithful' to Matariki instead of God.

The rest of the homily was spent reminding parishioners that they're not paying the parish's way, that the parish now survives only by the generosity of people long dead and gone (whose generosity by the way, was engendered by the Traditional Latin Mass, and only the TLM) and begging people 'to go on the roster' as readers, church cleaners - and organists! When Father had banned one of the church's two organists for violating the National Safeguarding Guidelines (in what way, exactly, is yet to be explained) that’s ironic, to say the least.

"Liturgy," says +Cullinane, "involves community and our own real presence"'. We thought it was rather more about involving God in His Real Presence.

REMAIN ON SPIRITUAL ALERT! You are seeing the wolves in sheep's clothing (Mt 7:15) leading the People of God toward the spiritual abyss, and you accept it with such weakness and coldness that you may wake up being part of the tares.

“The Church is in great danger.” We turn for relief to the German visionary Venerable Catherine Anne Emmerich, who died in 1824.

“We must pray so that the Pope may not leave Rome; countless evils would result if he did … I now see that in this place (Rome) the Church is being so cleverly undermined, that there hardly remain a hundred or so priests who have not been deceived. They all work for destruction, even the clergy. A great devastation is now near at hand.

“Among the strangest things that I saw, were long processions of bishops. Their faults towards religion were shown by external deformities. A few had only a body, with a dark cloud of fog instead of a head. Others had only a head, their bodies and hearts were like thick vapors. Some were lame, others were paralytics; others were asleep or staggering.

“I saw what I believe to be nearly all the bishops of the world, but only a small number were perfectly sound. I also saw the Holy Father —- God-fearing and prayerful. Nothing left to be desired in his appearance, but he was weakened by old age and by much suffering. His head was lolling from side to side, and it dropped onto his chest as if he were falling asleep. He often fainted and seemed to be dying. But when he was praying, he was often comforted by apparitions from Heaven. Then, his head was erect, but as soon as it dropped again onto his chest, I saw a number of people looking quickly right and left, that is, in the direction of the world.

"Everything that pertained to Protestantism was gradually gaining the upper hand, and the Catholic religion fell into complete decadence. (All) priests … contributed to the work of the destruction.

“In those days, Faith will fall very low, and it will be preserved in some places only, in a few cottages and in a few families which God has protected from disasters and wars.”

“For when the Blood of Christ is no longer offered on the Altars of our churches, then the blood of men will have to be spilled on the asphalt of our streets.”

Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich

Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich, pray for our priests, especially in the Diocese of Palmerston North, New Zealand, and for a holy bishop to be appointed, at last, to this diocese.

Unfortunately Fr Grayland is correct, the Church is in a state of chaos. No amount of pretending by the Church controlled media can paper over the cracks. Catholic is turned against Catholic. What is driving this? We have a Pope who says make a mess, cause chaos, tradition and doctrine are rigid and must be changed.

We have seen this style of politics before with the cultural revolution in China in the 1960's and 70's. Everything old was to be replaced (the Four Olds), the country was thrown into chaos, groups fought one another, millions died.

Pope Francis seems to be applying the same revolutionary Marxist principles to the Catholic Church. Is this appropriate for the Bride of Christ? You tell me?

The Church being human as well as divine is indeed, in her human nature, in chaos. Bergoglio being a Marxist does of course employ revolutionary tactics and man's abandonment of God makes men like Cullinane and Grayland easy meat for Satan. But we know the divine Bride of Christ to be indefectible, now and for ever, and we who identify with the Church Militant defend our Mother and her priests by our prayer and sacrifice.

    2. What about the millions of souls that are being lost while our Church leaders continue their great revolutionary experiment?

    3. This is the burning question, literally. In defending our Mother the Church by our prayer and sacrifice we are defending our brothers and sisters in Christ from the attacks of Satan, in whatever guise he presents; in defending our priests by prayer and sacrifice we obtain more graces for their sacred ministry of saving souls.

+Cullinane's idea of small group chat replacing the liturgy of the word would even further reduce the role of the priest at Mass. He'd be sitting back and letting the people do the work.
