RAINBOW TICK BIZ: GIVE 'EM A MISS

self-explanatory

New Zealand retailers, businesses and organisations that sat up and begged for bestowal of the 'Rainbow Tick' should realise that what they're doing actually is trying to make money or signal their virtue, through vice.

And by this egregious vice of sodomy its major sponsor, Satan, will literally bedevil our children, consigning them to mental and physical disease and childlessness and our nation to a long-drawn out act of collective suicide. That is, unless we vote for a radical change in government and restoration of the social reign of Christ the King. Even just measures in the meantime like Giorgia Meloni's in Italy to return LGBTQ to beneath the stone of sodomitical sin whence it came.

Family Life International's Michelle Kaufman explains it well. Read the list of sucking-up Rainbow Tick ticks she supplies (below) and vow to eschew them from now on until eternity.

Gender ideology has quickly swept the Western world, swiftly permeating large segments of society, including the education of children from the earliest age through New Zealand's education curriculum.

Further, it has become commonplace for businesses and organisations to “virtue signal” by declaring their support for those caught up in the various lifestyles covered by the LGBTQ+ umbrella.

Several structures exist within New Zealand where these organisations and businesses can declare their position and gain accreditation. Among them are:

  • Rainbow Tick
  • Pride Pledge
  • Safe Space Alliance

Pride Pledge boasts of representing 300+ organisations. The Safe Space Alliance has over 400 individual “spaces” within New Zealand listed as “safe.” Admittedly, the criteria for an identified space are questionable as, for example, listed twice is the Queen Victoria Statue in Wellington.

Queen Victoria gets the tick twice - we bet she is not amused

Meanwhile, organisations are awarded the Rainbow Tick once assessed and found to meet specific criteria concerning “diversity and inclusion.” Rainbow Tick has over 100 accredited businesses, educational facilities, and governmental agencies in its programme.

This article aims to expose those businesses, educational facilities, and governmental agencies that have been granted certification by the Rainbow Tick system. However, it is essential to note that the current virtue signalling is far broader than just this particular certification.

Why should I care what businesses support the gender ideology movement?

The Rainbow Tick website explains it well: “People are increasingly considering the implications of their purchasing power. An organisation’s attitudes to sexual orientation and gender identity are important indicators of its integrity and sincerity in embracing the whole community. An organisation that is seen to be discriminatory or insensitive in this area can expect fast, negative and often costly consequences.”

If we are to turn this commentary around, we could rewrite it to say:

“People are increasingly considering the implications of their purchasing power. An organisation’s virtue-signalling indicates its willingness to deviate from its core mission and enter into the world of politics and social engineering.

It is also an indicator of their eagerness to discriminate against and persecute anyone who recognises and stands by biological facts, the sanctity of marriage, the truth and meaning of human sexuality, and the true dignity of every individual. In short, these organisations are more likely to treat staff and customers who stand by Christian principles with contempt.

If we are serious about standing for the truth about the dignity of the human person and opposing the gender juggernaut, we should care about where we spend our money and even where we work. It may not be possible to eradicate all these businesses from our daily lives, but we can evaluate and take our business elsewhere when we can.

And if we can't, at least take time to tell these businesses and institutions what we think of their 'rainbow tick'. Send them an email or write a letter even.

Then, turning around the comments of the Rainbow Tick organisation, we can say that an organisation seen to be discriminatory or insensitive to staff and customers who do not subscribe to the current gender ideology domination can expect fast, negative and costly consequences.

What is the rainbow tick?

The Rainbow Tick is a service of Kāhui Tū Kaha, a charity that began as Baptist Health in 1973 and has undergone several name changes and mission variations.

According to the Rainbow Tick website, workplace assessments determine if “sexual and gender diversity” are welcomed and understood.

The stated purpose of gaining the certification is “to show employees, customers and the wider world that you are a progressive, inclusive and dynamic organisation that reflects the community you are based in.”

How do organisations gain certification?

Organisational evaluations determine how inclusive they are with their:

  • Policies
  • Staff training
  • Staff engagement and support
  • External engagement
  • Monitoring

Reviews take place annually.

Which organisations have been certified?

These entities are listed on the Rainbow Tick website as having gained the certification.
