WHEELCHAIR-BOUND MAN REFUSED COMMUNION BECAUSE HE'S UNVAXXED

A wheelchair-bound parishioner in Palmerston North Diocese was told today he could no longer receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion because he hasn't had the jab.

If the man in question were not so readily identifiable by his wheelchair, the names of his parish and the parish priest who's denying him Communion would be made public here. "Publish and be damned"as the Duke of Wellington so famously said.

Someone - almost certainly a fellow parishioner -who knew this disabled man well enough to know he'd refused the jab dobbed him in, and Father X has acted on the nark's information.

The man in question is a most faithful Catholic, devoted to our Lady, whose prayers and suffering must be achieving great blessings for his parish and further afield.

Does it make you feel any better about this appalling state of affairs to realise that the Blessed Virgin Mary foretold it in Quito, Ecuador, to a holy nun in the year 1599? Probably not.

But in Church-approved apparitions, under the title of Our Lady of Good Success, the Blessed Virgin Mary prophesied to a holy nun, Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, that shortly after the middle of the 20th century (when, funnily enough, the Second Vatican Council would occur) there would ensue a grievous deterioration in the Church and faithful, traditional Catholics would endure psychological persecution. Watch Dr Marian Horvat's take on this - with shocking images implicating post-Vat II pontiffs in the revolution in society, and the abandonment by the Catholic Church of her faith and Tradition, with tragic effect.

Venerable Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres

You may think that considering this is one nark, one priest, one parish, that's something of an overstatement.

But consider the Hastings Parish Liturgy Group's recent decision to stop Communion on the tongue and mandate that the 2-3 traditional troublemakers involved must receive by taking the Host with the tongue from their own individual patens, held by themselves and returned to the sacristy by themselves afterwards. (The Liturgy Group's kind suggestion that they keep the tarnished patens in their handbag, backpack or pocket was declined.)

And there's the other PN parish priest's diktat (with no consultation with the Parish Council) that Christmas Masses ('Christmas celebrations') will be only for the double-vaccinated (emphasis Father's - or the parish secretary's).

So much for "By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another" (Jn 13:35). And whatever happened to  "perfect charity (which) casteth out fear" (1 Jn 4:18)?

Priests are ordained to save souls, not lives; and the way they save souls is mainly by the Sacraments, especially by the Eucharist.

Prime Minister Stalinda Ardern would surely be pleased to hear of this latest, appalling development, motivated - as we should in charity assume - by fear: the fear induced and whipped up daily, nightly, by the mindless propaganda churned out by what passes now for the Fourth Estate, which has been suborned and subjugated by this ghastly Government.

Father X is probably frightened not only of Covid (the rebranding of the 'flu which has mysteriously disappeared) but as the nark is probably a parishioner with influence Father would be frightened also of wider reaction if he didn't react decisively (probably along lines indicated by said parishioner, i.e. "Father, you have to keep yourself safe!").

Monica Smit

In Australia, the first political prisoner in history is a traditional Catholic, Monica Smit. Her father, in tears, has stated that the family fled Communism in Europe for what they believed to be freedom 'Down Under'. Alas, they were mistaken.

Miss Smit is the founder of Reignite Democracy Australia, one of the few groups mobilised to oppose the Government's vax mandates and its generally heavy-handed response to the coronavirus. She was arrested on August 31 on what amounted to trumped-up charges of "incitement" and is being held on remand after refusing to sign onerous bail conditions described by some as a threat to democracy.

"I would rather be in prison," said Monica Smit, "with no rights, than willingly sign them away. If I do not let them break me, you can't let them break you either" - the Remnant, September 30 edition.

And today, in Rome, the liturgy in Latin has been prohibited.

In a decision made public last week, the Pope's vicar for the city of Rome, Cardinal Angelo De Donatis (whom at least one observer has suggested could be Pope Francis' candidate to be the next Pope) has decreed that the sacraments of the Church (that is, baptisms, confirmations, confessions, marriages, ordinations, funerals) are prohibited from being celebrated in the diocese of Rome in the old Latin liturgy.

This is the implementation for the city and diocese of Rome of the decree Traditionis custodes ("Of tradition the custodians" or "Of tradition the guardians") issued by Pope Francis on July 16, 2021, the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

What it means is that, in the city of Rome, the traditional Roman liturgy itself -- the liturgy in Latin of the city of Rome for generation upon generation -- has been prohibited.Dr. Robert Moynihan <MoynihanReport@gmail.com>

"This is what the LORD says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask for the ancient paths: Where is the good way? Then walk in it and find rest for your souls.' But they said, ‘We will not walk in it!’ And I set watchmen over you, saying, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not listen'" - Jer 6:16-17.

Betty, words fail me, every day there is something stupider than the last. When is it going to end.

    Betty Wood:
Joan I don’t think it will, until we have got rid of the tart.Folk need to stand up and fight, they don’t realize how bloody stupid they look or sound when they come out with these outrageous ideas.

Bullying is a breach of the Bill of RIghts surely?

Maybe a picket outside that parish church is what is required.

Didn’t the Pope recently say that Biden is a good Catholic and should carry on receiving Communion, despite us all knowing that Biden is pro-abortion? So, in the eyes of the Church you won’t be deprived of Holy Communion if you approve of abortion, but you will be deprived if you have a legitimate reason for not taking an experimental drug that’s abortion tainted and is known to be associated with many adverse effects and deaths.
Let’s not forget, though, that the traffic light system does give us a bit of leeway and allows the Church to just think outside the box in such a way that both vaccinated and un-vaccinated will be able to attend the Holy Mass, if I have understood the traffic light system correctly – but only if the Church wishes it so.

Of course you're right Bob, in your comparison of a pro-abortion US president being given Holy Communion but not faith-filled Catholics who refuse this experimental, abortion-tainted gene serum. But the traffic light system, although it may give us leeway, is ridiculous, confusing and puerile. No wonder NZ bishops are still 'considering' their options. But note that they have NOT YET said that the unvaccinated should be refused the Eucharist. These two priests are taking the law into their own hands, as it were.

    Bob Gill:
My concern with the traffic light system that we are lumbered with, Julia, is that the NZ bishops will go along with the one easy option that suits the larger parishes (accommodate the fully vaccinated only). The NZ bishops are not renowned for thinking outside the box, from my experience, and generally go along with the government narrative without complaint.
I contacted our friends in Wanganui a couple of days ago in case I needed a plan B in preparation for addressing my concerns. I was assured of no concern at their end.

That is the thin edge of the wedge. Enough.
