VAX MANDATES DON'T BREACH NZ BILL OF RIGHTS

Not smirking

"(On Friday) the High Court ruled that whilst vaccine mandates can create bullying, harassment, and vilification of the unvaccinated and their family members, they do not breach the NZ Bill of Rights" - Guy Hatchard, Scoop Independent News.

And today, a parish newsletter in the Diocese of Palmerston North announced for the second week running that "those coming to our Christmas celebrations will need to be double vaccinated.

Bullying. Harassment, leading perhaps to vilification of the unvaccinated, in what purports to be a parish newsletter - which used to be titled '"The Holy Trinity Parish Voice" but has somehow morphed into "Ratini Kupu", whatever that may mean.

What's going on here? Can this be the Catholic Church, bullying parishioners into taking an experimental gene serum produced from baby body parts?

It must be the Catholic Church. We can tell because the front page shows a smirking Jorge Mario Bergoglio telling us that "Getting vaccinated is a simple yet profound way to care for one another, especially the most vulnerable" (our emphasis). That amounts to a vaccine mandate. How diabolically ironic, considering that "the most vulnerable" - unborn babies - were employed in making a vaccine which to be frank is usually "a simple and profound way" to care for myself. For my body, that is, not my soul.

Certainly the parish priest's announcement is a mandate, and one made independently of the NZ Conference of Catholic Bishops, who urge but do not mandate the jab. Father kindly adds that "things will be made clear in a few weeks". One wonders how, after "a few weeks",  one might manage to get a double vax - with the stipulated 3 week interval - in time for "our Christmas celebrations".  Father outdoes, in his zeal, not just the NZCBC but the American bishops trotted out dutifully by NZ Catholic as follows:

Bishop Robert McElroy of San Diego urged priests on August 11 to “caringly decline” to provide any Catholics who request it a religious exemption for the Covid-19 vaccine.

Their Excellencies McElroy and McKnight, who don't approve of religious exemptions

“I ask that you not venture down this pathway that merges personal choice with doctrinal authenticity”, he said in a letter to priests of the diocese.

Bishop McElroy said several pastors had written to him about requests they have received from parishioners asking that they sign a declaration for them providing a religious exemption. The declaration was written by the Colorado Catholic Conference and available on the conference’s website. In Missouri, Bishop Shawn McKnight of Jefferson City urged Catholics in his diocese who can get vaccinated to take responsibility and do so in order to help their communities and the country at large beat Covid-19.

Guy  Hatchard of Scoop continues:

This means that Justice Matthew Palmer believed that vaccine mandates do not violate the provisions of the NZ Bill of Rights including

“Right not to be subjected to medical or scientific experimentation” or

“Freedom of thought conscience or religion” or

“Freedom from discrimination”

We note in passing that Justice Matthew Palmer is the only child of former Labour Prime Minister Sir Geoffrey Palmer, whose deputy was Helen Clark. Just saying ...

You might join me in thinking that Section 5 is chilling in the way that it asserts the ability of parliament to overrule our rights and implies that the majority may impose its views on the minority.

How did this happen? Before 2004, NZers had the right to appeal to the Privy Council in the UK. The UK judicial process has essential guarantees built into its constitution known as Common Law. Common Law dates back to the 13th century and to the confrontation between the rebel Barons and King John which resulted in the Magna Carta Libertatum (Great Charter of Freedoms) being signed at Runnymede.

Common Law is perpetuated when justices invoke ancient principles of fairness and rights in their interpretation of the law. Lord Chief Justice Denning, Master of the Rolls, and famous advocate of individual justice defined the effect of Common Law as what right thinking men consider to be fair between man and man and in these days between man and the state” (please forgive his gender bias in an earlier age)

Helen Clark decided that our right of appeal to the Privy Council was archaic and should be replaced by a NZ institution—the Supreme Court. That seems OK, but in so doing she quietly replaced the central role of Common Law in the judicial process with the ‘supremacy of Parliament’. Parliament now has the right to do almost anything it wishes, even extending to the amendment of legislation with retrospective effect. The NZ courts have consistently taken the view that their role is not to interfere with but rather support the intent of Parliament. The NZ Bill of Rights Act of 1990 thereby has no teeth, it is advisory only and its provisions are regularly ignored or overruled by the courts.

Jacinda Ardern and her government, riding on an absolute parliamentary majority, have today exploited parliament’s supremacy to the full. Crown lawyers have sought and succeeded in painting the imposition of medical risk as a democratic and social good in times of emergency. Concerns raised by scientific research publications did not play a part in today’s judgement, the law does not require science be followed, only the intention of parliament.

Can we be forgiven for drawing a parallel between 12th November 2021 and and 31st March 1933 when the German government passed an innocent-sounding law called the Temporary Law for Coordination (Gleichschaltung)? This proceeded along two related paths: synchronisation of all government institutions and mobilization of all citizens for the National Socialist cause. This law paved the way for the creation of all subsequent instruments of mass control and exploitation in the Nazi state.

This situation can only be avoided by the repeal of Section 5 of the NZ Bill of Rights.

From Evening Prayer of the Divine Office for today:

And in the garden secretly,

And on the cross on high,

Should teach his brethren, and inspire

To suffer and to die.

The Pfizer vaccine was developed using aborted fetal cells. Any church supporting these mandates are anti Christ. We are called to be salt and light to the world. If you find your church in lockstep with criminal corporations and authoritarian government policy it's time to find a new church.

    I say:
I understand your argument completely. But we must stay faithful to the Church founded by Christ - not to its sinful and heretical ministers, but to His Church. We are the Remnant that He Himself knew His Church would become. "When the Son of God comes, do you think He will find any faith on earth?" He must find us, His faithful followers. Faithful even unto death.

A dark day for NZ. What kind of judge?! 😥

    I say:
Ling, a Labour-leaning, leftist socialist judge?

    Linda Taw:
I'm not sure a judge could be neutral here!

    Teresa Coles:
Sins against humanity…Jesus will not be happy..

    David Wells:
Then these dudes need to read the text they purport to uphold. My Jesus embraced the leper... Matt 8:2; Lk 17:12 etc.

    Mac Donald:
Sorrry to hear this sort of thing going on in the church. The unvaccinated being treated like leper’s. I wonder what Jesus would have to say about this? Remember the church is not a building but all those connected across the world who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone and his atoning work on the cross, his victory over death when he arose triumphant.

The church also stood by while fascists murdered thousands of innocents between 1939 and 1945.

    Can still be appealed, twice.

You see she is a liar, you were told you only need one then its two then its three and in comes the DOUBLE VACCINATION. then every three months you will have to have another, this is going to go on for the rest of your life. you see how she can pay off people to get what she wants, like the The High Courts if they do not stand by her they lose every thing. and that is the same with the water she wants to give it to Visa as Visa has asked for it and she is doing all she can to take it. where are they getting all this money from not from us but from Visa because VACCINATION is big money but people here in New Zealand are being sucked in by her lies and every time she opens her mouth more shit comes out. You will see that the g5 has a lot to do with it, all I can say is that you all need to look at the videos that are coming out they are telling you the truth.

    Sarah Oconnor:
I'm not sure any diocese can afford to lose more Catholics. I can see more cost-cutting and church closures soon.

    Pauline Berry:
Sarah, maybe that suits the government agenda.

    Cher Joy:
Any church that bans people for their health status has lost connection with the Lord Jesus.

    Bob Gill:
Cher: Agree. And that particular parish celebration should be BANNED by all until it repents for its planned injustice.

    I say:
Bob, do you mean boycotted? You can't ban a Mass of course, but a boycott is a good idea ...

  6. Sspx says it may be prudent to get vaccinated. Your theology is askew. Lesser of 2 evils. Not all jabs use fetal tissue. The Nats would have done the same. Stop banging on about Jacinda.

  7. THe High Court ruling is incorrect in both matters of fact and law.

And they have breached the Nuremberg Code in doing so

Clearly they were told what to do by the govt and they themselves are to be held in contempt of international law given their flagrant conscious and contumacious denial of it

  8. The aforementioned code relates to experimentation. Experimentation ended after tests when the vaccine was rolled out.

    1. thevaxx is still an experimental drug as insufficient time has passed for the long term effects to be assessed. also it was given ONLY Emergency Use Authorization preciely because it IS an experimental drug and also because it was (falsely) deemed to be the only alternative.

IOW Experimentation did not end with the rollout for the rollout itself IS experimentation

If this sort of thing doesn't breach the NZ Bill of Rights, then surely we need to look at the Bill of Rights.

    Beverley Bennett:
Bob, but it definitely does breach our Bill of Rights, WHICH SAYS that everyone has the right to refuse any sort of treatment whatsoever . People should be screaming this from the rooftops. If thousands of N.Z. ers wrote a handwritten letter with this statement in it the PM she may take notice. Keep it really short. No stamp needed.

    I say:
I believe it's not the Bill of Rights we need to look at but the judge.

    Sharon Crooks:
    And revisit the Nuremberg Code.

Boy. Would've thought the churches needed people now. Not to be picky as to who goes along ... 🤔

    Tanya Zohs:
Mac Donald, Jesus was clear-go to ALL the world-so churches are commanded to be open to all

    Keith Walsh:
That is because we are living under the rule of man and not living under the grace of God. One day we will and Almighty God will be the judge.

    Tanya Zohs;
Not much of a church that would discriminate against anyone wanting to go to church-our church won’t be discriminating-instead we will be following God’s command, that trumps all governments, to go to ALL the world

Maybe a picket outside that parish church is what is required

I say: It would be a picket of one.

In linguistics there is a thing. It is called the rename game. Take a well understood word or expression and completely redefine its meaning. "Women's health". "Marriage". "Bullying". "Be kind". "Vaccine".

I can relax in a church ⛪️ when I hear some cough it doesn’t mean they have covid.
