It's patently obvious that Stalinda the Unjust's traffic light regime is just an exercise in arm-twisting. Those stubborn, free-spirited people in Gizzy, Northland and Taupo who've resisted her blandishments, propaganda and carrots and not rolled up their sleeves are now being subjected to her stick: loss of freedom.  

It's not like they've got 'Covid cases', like Auckland. It's just that they RESIST. If only the rest of New Zealand had their common sense

Because countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people. Read that again. The more a country gets vaxxed, the sicker it gets.

Notably, Israel with over 60% of their population fully vaccinated had the highest COVID-19 cases per 1 million people in the last 7 days. The lack of a meaningful association between percentage population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases is further exemplified, for instance, by comparison of Iceland and Portugal. Both countries have over 75% of their population fully vaccinated and have more COVID-19 cases per 1 million people than countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have around 10% of their population fully vaccinated.

Across the US counties too, the median new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people in the last 7 days is largely similar across the categories of percent population fully vaccinated. Notably there is also substantial county variation in new COVID-19 cases within categories of percentage population fully vaccinated. There also appears to be no significant signaling of COVID-19 cases decreasing with higher percentages of population fully vaccinated.

In a 10-minute video, Dr Sucharit Bhakdi discusses the fundamental reason for the current wave of “breakthrough infections:” the failure of the COVID vaccines had to be expected, because fundamental principles of immunology were ignored in their design.

The first mistake was to focus on antibodies rather than cellular immunity (cytotoxic T-lymphocytes) in assessing vaccine efficacy, even though cellular immunity is far more important to antiviral immunity than are antibodies.
The second mistake was to neglect the functional distinction between the two major categories of antibodies, which the body produces in order to protect itself from pathogenic microbes:
1. The first category (secretory IgA) is produced by immune cells (lymphocytes) that are located directly underneath the mucous membranes that line the respiratory and intestinal tract. The antibodies produced by these lymphocytes are ejected through and to the surface of the linings. These antibodies are thus on site to meet air-borne viruses and they may be able to prevent viral binding and infection of the cells.
2. The second category of antibodies (IgG and circulating IgA) occur in the bloodstream. So vaxxing does nothing to reduce Covid. So vaxxing was designed to fail.Well hello, Stalinda, what's it all about, then?  

Oh, thank goodness: 'leading epidemiologist' Dr Michael Baker is here to explain. Sort of. 

Dr Baker says the new Omicron COVID-19 variant could be "very grim" for poor countries but is likely manageable for New Zealand. 

In other words, aren't we all just lucky little Kiwis to live here under Prime Sinister Minister Ardern's plucky leadership?  

There's concern about the new variant which is spreading around the world and has been found in South Africa, UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Botswana, Israel, Australia and Hong Kong.

It's unknown how bad the variant is or how effective vaccines will be against it.

Be scared, people! You must be scared or the propaganda won't work! Never mind the vax, it's the propaganda that matters. 

And Dr Baker hasn't finished yet:  

Our plan to reopen to the world next year could be scuppered by the new 'Omicron' variant that's been found in southern Africa, one of New Zealand's top experts says.

The Government earlier this week said managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ) would be phased out for fully vaccinated Kiwis over January and February, and for international visitors from the end of April.

But that was before South African scientists announced they'd stumbled on a worrying new variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus which early data suggests could be several times more infectious than the original, and appears to be outcompeting Delta. (Emphasis added to the added emphasis ...)

The discovery has prompted a number of nations to cut off travel from the region, including the UK, Canada and the US. The World Health Organization (WHO) wasted no time in elevating the strain, originally called B.1.1.529, to its exclusive 'variants of concern' list. Omicron is just the fifth to make the cut.

More frighteners ... 

"With good reason," University of Otago epidemiologist Michael Baker told Newshub Nation on Saturday morning. "This variant caused alarm amongst virologists because it has a very large number of mutations, and some of these mutations affect the structure of the spike protein, which is so important for the effectiveness of vaccines.

"The other factor is it appeared to be outcompeting the Delta variant in an area of South Africa. That really means it's tipping the balance into this category of 'variant of concern'."

Variants of concern are mutated viruses with the potential to be more infectious, more lethal and evade vaccine protection. Dr Baker said it's clear already Omicron is more infectious, but it will take a few weeks to find out whether it's deadlier or is better at evading the vaccines.

 Is it unreasonable to wonder if Dr Baker is on the Government payroll along with the media? And then there's 'something to say about everything' Seymour: 

ACT leader David Seymour is calling for "calm and clarity" in the face of the new Omicron variant, warning we can't afford a repeat of the Government's handling of Delta.

This is fear-mongering at a more subtle, sophisticated level: Seymour implies that we are agitated and confused. Well, Ardern,Robertson&Co, Death Dealers to the Nation, seem to be exactly that - but maybe only because the Labour/Greens are not all on the same page as Stalinda. They're not privy to her instructions from Ms Clark maybe, or been promised jobs at the UN. 

Recently identified in South Africa, Omicron could be several times more infectious than the original coronavirus and it's unclear how effective current vaccines are against it.

But Mr Seymour, are you not brainy enough to see how effective current vaccines are against the original virus? Like, not at all? Puh-lease!

Already a number of nations have issued travel restrictions from southern African countries to prevent the spread, including Australia, the UK, Canada and the US.

And when you've got your vax which might or might not work against a virus which keeps changing anyway, just relax and realise that the variants are a disguise for all the 'break-throughs' and adverse reactions and deaths resulting from your vax which might or might not work.
