THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU VOTE ...

OMG I'm having nightmares!

The same one every night!

I waken fearful, full of dread,

I clutch the bedclothes tight

Before me in a sickly haze

Of swirling red and green

The future laid out stark and bare

As never before I've seen

James Shaw is there with ghoulish smile

A hammer in his hand

Jacinda stands beside him

As Queen of all the land

In her hand a sickle

Dripping with the sweat

Of Kiwi farmers everywhere

Whose lives she'll ruin yet

She wants to tax the farmers

Who grow food for us to eat

Who graze the cows on Kiwi land

For milk and cheese and meat

She sees a far left future

Starry eyed but wrong

I cry out but she blocks her ears

The nightmare still goes on

James brings the hammer crashing down

In one fell swoop the Greens

Ensure five hundred thousand dreams

Are smashed to smithereens

He's spat upon their businesses

He's taxed them to the hilt

He's thrown their hard work to the wall

Without a shred of guilt

He's laughed at all the pensioners

Whose savings are no more

It's tax and tax and tax again

Until they're on the floor

Labour's long term goal is TAX

Just mark my words, you'll see

They have no other policies

The Greens, of course, agree

New Zealand as we know it

Soon a distant dream

Think carefully who you vote for -

Things ARE not as they seem.
