At a pro-life vigil yesterday in New Zealand, on babyk*lling day (every Friday) at Hastings Hospital, an SSPX Massgoer remarked to her two companion SSPX-ers that persecution is the Church's seedbed of vocations. Leo and Tucho's Vatican has decreed the three pro-lifers 'excommunicated', for the crime of attending Masses celebrated by the one group of Catholics in the world who have never bent the knee to the god of Vatican II. With the result that SSPX chapels are now overflowing.

It's very significant that three of the four who keep vigil in Hastings for mothers intent on k*lling their own children are 'excommunicated'. (The fourth is an Novus Ordo priest who's forbidden to say Mass publicly, for reasons publicly unknown.) These vigilantes get cheery waves and toots from passing cars, from drivers (Catholics?) who say, "Keep up the good work". But NO ONE EVER stops to pray with them for the mothers, the babies, and the doctors and nurses who k*ll the babies. And the local NO parish priest has declined to accept a notice for his newsletter pleading for more volunteers. "It's TOO DIVISIVE," he said.

That's the state of the Catholic Church today, 60 years after the Second Vatican Council ushered in the liturgical revolution of the Mass of Paul VI. It was "a striking departure”[1 ] from the Catholic definition of the Mass. "It is not only bad but also illegitimate, despite all the appearances of legality with which it has been and is still surrounded." Yes, that's a quote from the SSPX, who know their theological onions. 

The New Mass, known as the "Bugnini schema" was designed by a prelate who'd publicly stated that "We must strip from our Catholic prayers and from the Catholic liturgy everything which can be the shadow of a stumbling block for our separated brethren - that is, for the Protestants.” 

That prelate, Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, was shortly afterwards summarily dismissed by  John XXIII. He was reinstated by Paul VI,who promulgated his 'New Mass', but later banished him to exile in Iran - the widely-rumoured reason being his membership of Freemasonry. 

Taken together, the 'excommunicated' SSPX members at the pro-life vigil and Bugnini's Mass illustrate the rot pervading the Church, in microcosm. What a weather vane the papacy has become since Vatican II began demolishing doctrine. Conservative John XXIII sacked the progressive Bugnini; progressive Paul VI reinstated him, and promulgated the 'New Mass' which was designed to finish the Old Mass and the faith of our fathers. 

And now Leo XIV's faux papacy, fixed to the same compass point as Francis', has delivered what it fondly believes is the coup de grace. Leo and Tucho issued a decree that amounts to crucifixion for the Society; for telling the truth as Christ did.


The story below is a long one. A bit War and Peace. Pearls will be wrung by anti-SSPXers, who are legion, the most fixated being 'the weaker sex'. Women seem to conflate feminism and the vice of effeminacy that is endemic in the post-conciliar religion. And the Society's male opponents will come across as pompous and controlling.

I. THE DECREE AND THE RECOURSE — WHAT JUST HAPPENED

Let me tell you what just happened. And you're not going to believe it. Nobody believed it. Many people are saying it's the greatest injustice in the history of the Church. 

On July 2, 2026 the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a decree. A terrible decree. A disastrous decree. The worst decree maybe ever issued in modern Church history. And what did this decree do? It targeted the Society of Saint Pius X. It came after the one group of Catholics who never bent the knee. Not to modernism. Not to communism. Not to the atheistic wolves who have taken over Rome.

And what did the Society do? Did they roll over? Did they surrender? NO. They did what every faithful Catholic has the RIGHT to do. On July 11, 2026, the Society submitted a preliminary recourse to the same Dicastery that issued the decree, in full accordance with canons 1734 and following of the Code of Canon Law.  

This is the mandatory preliminary step before the possible introduction of a hierarchical recourse. This request has the EFFECT of SUSPENDING the execution of the decree, in accordance with canon 1353 of the Code of Canon Law.

The decree is SUSPENDED. They can't touch the Society. Not yet. The law of the Church protects the Society of Saint Pius X from the people who are trying to destroy it.

And isn't that something? The Church's own legal system standing against the Church's own modernist hierarchy. The law protecting the faithful FROM the shepherds. The canons shielding the sheep FROM the wolves. The Society exercises the right which the Church recognizes for ANY person who considers himself harmed by an administrative act to seek its correction. In a spirit of respect for ecclesiastical authority. In faithful attachment to justice. To truth. To the good of the Church. 

The Society of Saint Pius X entrusts this request to the competent authorities. And commends this undertaking to the prayers of ALL the faithful.

Not just SSPX chapel-goers. ALL faithful Catholics. Because this fight belongs to everyone who still believes in the supernatural. In the Real Presence. In the Mass of the Ages. In the faith handed down from the apostles, not invented by a committee in 1965.

 

 

II. WHAT IS COMMUNISM? FIRST PRINCIPLES

Now. Let me explain something. Because you need to understand it.The left doesn't want you to understand it. The Democrats don't want you to understand it. The modernists in Rome don't want you to understand it.

What is communism? From first principles. From the ground up. No jargon. No academic nonsense. Just truth.

Communism begins with one claim — ONE claim — and everything else follows from it. The claim is this: the individual has no value apart from the collective. That's the seed. That's the poison pill. The individual soul, the thing that makes YOU you, the thing that God created, communism says doesn't matter. What matters is the group. The class. The collective. The party.

From that one claim, everything follows:

If the individual has no value, then the individual has no rights. Not freedom of speech. Not freedom of religion. Not freedom of thought. Rights belong to the collective, and the collective is managed by the party. The party decides what you can say. The party decides what you can believe. The party decides what your children learn. The party decides what your Church teaches.

If the individual has no value, then private property is theft. Your home, your land, your savings, your labor - none of it belongs to you. It belongs to everyone. And "everyone" means the state. And the state means the party. And the party means the men with guns who tell you what to do.

If the individual has no value, then religion is the opium of the masses. Marx said it. Religion teaches that the individual soul has eternal worth. That each person stands before God ALONE - not as a member of a class, not as a cog in a machine, but as a unique, unrepeatable person who will be judged for HIS choices and HER choices. Communism HATES that. Communism cannot tolerate that.

Because if the soul is real, then the collective is not supreme. And if the collective is not supreme, then the party has no justification for its power.

And here's where it gets really good - communism also requires the destruction of tradition. ALL tradition.

Because tradition connects the individual to something bigger than the state. Tradition says: your father believed this, your grandfather believed this, your great-grandfather believed this, and it was good, and you should believe it too.

Communism says: NO. The past is oppression. The past is inequality. The past must be erased. The French Revolution tried it. The Bolsheviks tried it. Mao tried it. Pol Pot tried it. And every single time it produced mountains of corpses.

That's communism. First principles. The negation of the individual. The negation of the soul. The negation of tradition. The negation of God. And the concentration of ALL power in the hands of a self-appointed elite who claim to speak for "the people" while enslaving the people.

And let me tell you something else. Something that nobody wants to hear. Something that the media will NEVER tell you. Communism doesn't always come with a hammer and sickle. Sometimes it comes with a smile. Sometimes it comes with a social justice slogan. Sometimes it comes with a committee. Sometimes - and this is the part that makes people uncomfortable - sometimes it comes wearing a mitre.

III. THE INFILTRATION — PEASANTS TAKING THE KINGDOM

The Catholic Church was infiltrated. This is not a theory. This is documented. This is proven. Bella Dodd - a communist agent who later converted and testified before the United States Congress - testified that the Communist Party of the USA deliberately placed over a thousand young men into Catholic seminaries in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Over a THOUSAND. Men who did not believe in God. Men who did not believe in the divinity of Christ. Men who were sent there with ONE purpose: to rise through the ranks, to gain positions of influence, and to transform the Catholic Church from within.

And they SUCCEEDED. Look at the seminaries in the 1960s and 1970s. They became cesspools of heresy. Men who denied the Resurrection were ordained. Men who denied the virgin birth were ordained. Men who denied the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist were ordained. Men who openly advocated for MARXISM, the ideology that calls religion the opium of the masses were ORDAINED and elevated to positions of authority within the Church.

And they say comparisons are odious 

 

 

These are men who have no supernatural faith. Men who do not see the kingdom because they do not have the eyes to see it. They entered the Church not as sons but as invaders. Not as heirs but as usurpers. They took the seats of power. They took the seminaries. They took the liturgy. They took the theology. They took everything that the rightful heirs - the faithful, the devout, the believing Catholics - had built and maintained for centuries.

And the rightful heirs? The men who believed? The men who prayed? The men who celebrated the Mass of the Ages with reverence and awe? They were pushed out. Silenced. Marginalized. Called "rigid." Called "backwardist." Called enemies of the Council. Called schismatics. The men who kept the faith were treated as enemies of the faith. The men who destroyed the faith were treated as its champions.

This is what infiltration looks like. Not a dramatic coup. Not a military takeover. A slow, patient, deliberate replacement of the men who believe with the men who don't. A transfer of the kingdom from the sons to the squatters. And once the squatters are in power, they change the locks. They change the liturgy. They change the theology. They change the rules.

And they tell you it was always this way. They tell you the Church has "developed." They tell you the Holy Spirit is doing a "new thing." And if you object? If you say: wait, this isn't what the Church always taught? If you say: wait, this isn't the Mass that was celebrated for 1,500 years? If you say: wait, where did all this come from? Then YOU are the problem. YOU are the enemy. YOU must be suppressed. YOU must be disciplined. YOU must have a decree issued against you by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.

The Society of Saint Pius X is not a communist organization. It is the OPPOSITE of a communist organization. It is one of the last remaining institutions in the entire Catholic Church that stands AGAINST the collectivist, modernist, atheistic tide that has swallowed everything else.

The SSPX believes in the individual soul. The SSPX believes in the supernatural destiny of each person. The SSPX believes in the tradition that connects us to the apostles. The SSPX believes in the Mass that was codified by Saint Pius V after the Council of Trent - the Mass that produced saints. The Mass that converted nations. The Mass that held Western civilization together for four centuries.

 

And for THAT - for believing in the faith of their fathers - they are being persecuted by the very institution that is supposed to protect that faith. Let that sink in. The Church is persecuting the faithful for being faithful. The shepherds are attacking the sheep for acting like sheep. The hierarchy is crushing the devout for being devout.

This is not just hypocritical. This is not just unjust. This is SUPERNATURALLY significant. This is the mystery of iniquity at work within the Church itself. This is the enemy operating not from outside the walls but from inside the sanctuary.

IV. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AS IRAN — ANTI-USA, ANTI-FREEDOM, PRO-OPPRESSION 

Now let me tell you something. And this is going to upset some people. But it needs to be said.

The modern Catholic hierarchy operates like the Iranian regime. Think about it. Really think about it.

Iran has a religious leadership that claims to speak for God. The mullahs in Tehran say they represent divine will. They say their authority comes from above. They say anyone who disagrees with them is not just politically wrong but RELIGIOUSLY wrong. Not just mistaken but heretical. Not just an opponent but an enemy of God Himself.

And what do they do with that claim? They oppress. They control. They dictate what people can wear. They dictate what people can say. They dictate what people can wear. They dictate what people can say. They dictate what people can believe. They have their religious police - the Guidance Patrol - roaming the streets, enforcing "morality" as THEY define it. They have their revolutionary courts. Thir decrees. Their suppression of dissent.

And if you dissent? If you say: wait, I don't think God wants this? If you say: wait, I think freedom is a gift from God, not a threat to God? Then you are arrested. You are silenced. You are disappeared. You are called an enemy of the state, an enemy of religion, an enemy of God.

Now look at the modern Catholic Church. Look at the hierarchy. Look at the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. They claim to speak for God. They claim their authority comes from Christ. They say anyone who disagrees with their modernist program is not just wrong but DISOBEDIENT. Not just mistaken but SCHISMATIC. Not just a different opinion but a threat to the Church.

And what do they do? They oppress. They control. They dictate what liturgy you can attend. They dictate what prayers you can say. They dictate what theology you can hold. They have their modernist enforcers - their bishops, their dicasteries, their commissions - roaming the Church, enforcing "unity" as THEY define it. They have their decrees. They have their sanctions. They have their suppression of dissent.

And if you dissent? If you say: wait, I want the Latin Mass? If you say: wait, I want the faith that was handed down from the apostles? If you say: wait, I think Tradition is a gift from God, not a problem to be solved? Then you are restricted. You are censured. You are decreed against. You are called an enemy of the Council, an enemy of the Pope, an enemy of the Church.

The parallels are STAGGERING. The Iranian regime suppresses freedom in the name of God. The modern Catholic hierarchy suppresses tradition in the name of the Council. The Iranian regime calls dissenters enemies of Islam. The modern Catholic hierarchy calls traditionalists enemies of Vatican II. The Iranian regime uses religious law to crush political opposition. The modern Catholic hierarchy uses canon law to crush theological opposition. And here's the most incredible part - the hypocrisy. The DUPLICITY.

Pope Francis says: "Who am I to judge?" when asked about homosexual clergy. He says it to the press. And the whole world applauds. The whole world says: oh, how compassionate. Oh, how merciful. Oh, what a humble man. But when it comes to the Latin Mass? When it comes to the Society of Saint Pius X? When it comes to Catholics who want to kneel and receive communion on the tongue? When it comes to priests who want to say the Mass that SAINTS said?

 

Then suddenly he CAN judge. Then suddenly there's no mercy. Then suddenly there's no humility. Then suddenly there's a DECREE. A RESTRICTION. A SUPPRESSION. A BAN.

 

So who's the 'Antipope', again?

 

Gay bishops? Accepted. Welcomed. Accommodated. "Who am I to judge?" The Pope literally said it. And nobody in the hierarchy blinked. The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith didn't issue a decree against gay bishops. The Dicastery didn't restrict the ministry of prelates who publicly bless same-sex unions. The Dicastery didn't suspend the decree of appointment for bishops who live in contradiction to Catholic moral teaching.

But the Latin Mass? The TRADITIONAL Latin Mass? The Mass of the Roman Rite that existed for over a millennium? THAT gets a decree. THAT gets restricted. THAT gets suppressed. THAT gets banned. The SSPX - the one organization that has maintained the traditional faith without compromise - THAT gets targeted. THAT gets a decree from the Dicastery on July 2, 2026.

Do you see the duplicity? Homosexual clergy get "Who am I to judge?" Traditionalist Catholics get a decree. Modernist theologians who deny the Resurrection get promotions. Traditionalist priests who celebrate the ancient Mass get restrictions. Bishops who bless same-sex unions get praised. Priests who say the old Mass get punished.

This is not the Catholic Church. This is not the Church of Christ. This is a regime. A regime that uses the language of mercy to crush the faithful and the language of discipline to protect the faithless. A regime that calls evil good and good evil. A regime that blesses what God condemns and condemns what God blesses.

And the faithful who just want to go to Mass - they have NOWHERE to go. The Society of Saint Pius X is one of the last places where a Catholic can hear the true Mass, receive the true sacraments, and hear the true doctrine. And the hierarchy is trying to shut it down. They're trying to close the last door. They're trying to seal the last exit from the modernist wasteland they've created.

And they're doing it while telling the world how compassionate they are. While telling the press how merciful they are. While telling us how much they love "dialogue" and "encounter" and "accompaniment." Accompaniment for everyone EXCEPT traditionalists. Dialogue with everyone EXCEPT the SSPX. Encounter with everyone EXCEPT Catholics who actually believe what the Church has always taught.

It's Iran. It's literally Iran. Religious authority weaponized against the faithful. Divine mandate invoked to crush dissent. And the whole time, the regime tells you it's for your own good. It's for the "good of the Church." It's for "unity." Unity - which means: do what we say or we will destroy you.

V. THE BRAINWASHING AND THE SCARING — THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AS MODERN WOLF OF ATHEISM

And now we come to the deepest part. The part that nobody wants to talk about. The part that will get you called crazy, called paranoid, called a conspiracy theorist. But it's true and everyone with eyes to see knows it's true.

The modern Catholic Church — the institution, the hierarchy, the bureaucracy — has become a wolf of atheism. A WOLF OF ATHEISM. Not a wolf in sheep's clothing. A wolf of atheism in SHEPHERD'S clothing. Wearing the vestments of a bishop. Carrying the crosier of a shepherd. Speaking the language of religion. But underneath — underneath the vestments, underneath the titles, underneath the ritual — there is no supernatural faith.

There is no belief in the supernatural. There is no conviction that Jesus Christ is God, that He rose from the dead, that He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

What do I mean by supernatural faith? This is crucial. This is EVERYTHING.

Supernatural faith is the belief - the FIRM, UNYIELDING belief - that there is a reality beyond the material world. That God exists. Not as a metaphor. Not as a symbol. Not as a "narrative" or a "story" or a "way of speaking about human values."

GOD EXISTS. As a real, actual, living Person. A Person who created the universe. A Person who became man. A Person who died and rose again. A Person who is present — REALLY present, truly present, substantially present — in the Eucharist. A Person who will judge every human soul at the end of time.

Supernatural faith means believing that the Mass is not a community meal. It is not a gathering. It is not a celebration of human togetherness. It is the re-presentation of the sacrifice of Calvary. The SAME sacrifice. The SAME priest - Jesus Christ - acting through the minister. The SAME victim - Jesus Christ - offered to the Father for the salvation of souls. The Mass is supernatural or it is NOTHING.

If the Mass is not supernatural, then it is a waste of time. Go play golf. Go watch football. Go do something useful. If the Mass is just a "gathering," then it has no more spiritual value than a Rotary Club meeting.

Supernatural faith means believing that hell is real. HELL IS REAL. Jesus Christ said it. He said it MULTIPLE times. He described it as a place of "unquenchable fire" where "the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." He said there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth." He said it. The Son of God said it.

And if you don't believe it - if you don't believe in hell - then you don't believe in Jesus Christ. You don't have supernatural faith. You have a philosophy. You have a worldview. You have a social program. But you don't have FAITH.

And here's what the modern Church has done. Here's the brainwashing. They have systematically REMOVED the supernatural from Catholicism. Step by step. Piece by piece. Generation by generation.

They took the Mass and turned it into a meal. They took the Eucharist and turned it into a symbol. They took the priesthood and turned it into a social work profession. They took the sacraments and turned them into community rituals. They took the moral teaching and turned it into "accompaniment." They took the doctrine and turned it into "dialogue." They took the faith and turned it into a NGO.

And then they came for the last thing. The last thing that still had the supernatural in it. The Latin Mass. The Mass of the Ages. The Mass that still smelled of incense and sounded like angels and FELT like eternity. The Mass where the priest faced God, not the audience. The Mass where the words of consecration were spoken in a language that didn't change with the locality. The Mass where the altar was an altar, not a table. The Mass where Communion was received on the tongue, kneeling, because it was GOD, and you don't stand up and grab God like He's a piece of bread.

They came for THAT Mass. Because THAT Mass still had the supernatural. And the modern Church cannot tolerate the supernatural. The modern Church is afraid of the supernatural. The modern Church is EMBARRASSED by the supernatural. Because if the supernatural is real, then the modernist project is a fraud. If the supernatural is real, then the "new theology" is a lie. If the supernatural is real, then the Council was not a "new Pentecost" but a catastrophe. If the supernatural is real, then the SSPX was RIGHT.

And so they brainwash. They brainwash the faithful into believing that the old Mass is "divisive." That tradition is "backward." That reverence is "rigid." That wanting the ancient rite is a "sign of disobedience." They SCARE Catholics. They scare them into abandoning the Mass of their ancestors. They threaten priests. They threaten bishops. They threaten anyone who dares to say: I want the old Mass. I want the REAL Mass. I want the Mass that makes saints.

 

And the Society of Saint Pius X? They are the ones who refused to be brainwashed. They are the ones who refused to be scared. They are the ones who said: NO. We will keep the Mass. We will keep the faith. We will keep the tradition. We will keep the supernatural. And if you come for us, we will use the Church's OWN law to defend ourselves. We will file a recourse. We will invoke canon 1734. We will invoke canon 1353. We will stand on the rights that the Church HERSELF gives us. And we will NOT be silenced.

VI. THE SSPX AS CHRIST ON THE CROSS - THE WITNESS, THE TESTIMONY

And HERE is where we come to the most profound truth of this entire situation. The truth that the modernists cannot see because they have no supernatural eyes. The truth that the faithful can see because they DO have supernatural eyes.

The Society of Saint Pius X is Christ on the Cross.

 I'm going to say it again. Because it needs to be HEARD. The Society of Saint Pius X is Christ on the Cross in our time. In our generation. In 2026.

Think about it. Think about what happened to Christ. He came to fulfill the law and the prophets. He came to bring the truth. He came to offer the sacrifice that would save the world. And what did the religious authorities of His time do?

They rejected Him. They accused Him of disobedience. They accused Him of leading the people astray. They accused Him of being a threat to the established order. They brought Him before the high priest. They brought Him before the religious court. They issued their decree. And they crucified Him.

And the people who had been fed by Him, healed by Him, taught by Him stood by and watched. Some wept. Some turned away. Some said: "He brought this on Himself." Some said: "If He had just cooperated with the authorities, this wouldn't have happened." Some said: "He should have been more diplomatic. More pastoral. More accommodating."

Does this sound familiar? DOES IT?

The SSPX came to preserve the Mass. To preserve the priesthood. To preserve the doctrine. To preserve the supernatural faith. And what did the religious authorities of OUR time do? They rejected the Society. They accused the Society of disobedience. They accused the Society of leading the faithful astray. They accused the Society of being a threat to the "established order" - the modernist order, the post-conciliar order, the order of novelty and compromise.

They brought the Society before the Dicastery. They brought the Society before the modernist court. They issued their decree - on July 2, 2026. And they are trying to crucify the Society. To crucify the last institutional witness to the traditional Catholic faith. 

And the people - Catholics who have been fed by the SSPX, received the sacraments from SSPX priests, been taught by SSPX clergy - what do they do? Some weep. Some turn away. Some say: "The SSPX brought this on themselves." Some say: "If they had just cooperated with Rome, this wouldn't have happened." Some say: "They should have been more diplomatic. More pastoral. More accommodating."

But here's the thing about the crucifixion. Here's the supernatural truth that the natural mind cannot grasp. The crucifixion was not a defeat. It was a VICTORY. The greatest victory in the history of the universe. Through the cross came the resurrection. Through the suffering came the glory. Through the death came the life. The world saw a condemned man dying in shame. The angels saw the King of Kings conquering sin and death.

And the SSPX? If they are Christ on the Cross - and they ARE - then what comes next? What comes after the decree? What comes after the persecution? What comes after the crucifixion?

The resurrection. That's what comes. The SSPX will not be destroyed. The SSPX will not be silenced. The SSPX will not be suppressed. Because the truth cannot be suppressed. The Mass cannot be suppressed. The supernatural faith cannot be suppressed. Christ Himself could not be kept in the tomb, and neither can the Society that has kept His Mass alive.

The SSPX is a witness. A TESTIMONY. A testimony to the world that the Catholic faith did not begin in 1965. That the Mass did not begin with Paul VI. That the priesthood did not begin with Vatican II. That the truth did not begin with the latest papal interview or the latest Dicastery decree.

The SSPX testifies - by its existence, by its persistence, by its refusal to compromise - that there is a faith that is older, deeper, higher, and more beautiful than anything the modernists can imagine. A faith that comes from Christ through the apostles through the martyrs through the fathers through the doctors through the saints. A faith that is SUPERNATURAL or it is nothing.

And the world needs that testimony. The world is DYING for that testimony. The world is starving for the supernatural. The world is drowning in materialism, in consumerism, in technology, in pleasure, in noise - and it is STARVING for the supernatural. For something real. For something eternal. For something that cannot be bought or sold or tweeted or streamed. 

The SSPX offers that. The SSPX offers the Mass that is the sacrifice of Calvary. The SSPX offers the sacraments that are channels of divine grace. The SSPX offers the doctrine that is the truth of Christ. The SSPX offers the supernatural - the REAL supernatural, not the fake "spirituality" of the modernists, not the vague "encounter" of the Pope, not the empty "accompaniment" of the bishops - but the real, actual, supernatural grace of God flowing through the Church's ancient rites.

And for offering the world the one thing it truly needs the SSPX is being crucified. By the very institution that should be promoting it. By the very hierarchy that should be protecting it. By the very shepherds who should be feeding the sheep with the bread of the ancient Mass, not starving them with the junk food of the novus ordo.

VII. THE TIMELINE - WHAT HAS HAPPENED, WHAT WILL HAPPEN, WHAT IS TO COME

Now let me lay out the timeline. Because you need to see the whole picture. The bird's eye view. From the beginning to the end.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED:

1970 - The Foundation. Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre - a holy bishop, a missionary bishop, a bishop who had served the Church in Africa and seen what real faith looks like - saw what was happening. He saw the destruction. He saw the liturgy being dismantled. He saw the seminaries being corrupted. He saw the priesthood being degraded. He saw the faith being watered down. And he did something. He didn't just complain. He didn't just write letters. He ACTED.

He founded the Society of Saint Pius X. A society of priests dedicated to the traditional Mass, the traditional priesthood, the traditional doctrine. A society that would keep the faith alive when everything else was dying. He obtained provisional approval from the local bishop - Bishop Charrière of Fribourg - on November 1, 1970. The Society was LEGAL. It was CANONICAL. It was legitimate. It was born in obedience, not disobedience. NEVER forget that.

 

1970-1988 - The Years of Tension. The Society grew. It grew because Catholics were STARVING. They were starving for the old Mass. For reverent liturgy. For orthodox doctrine. They were starving for priests who actually believed what they preached. The Society opened seminaries. It ordained priests. It established chapels. It confirmed thousands of Catholics who had nowhere else to go.

And Rome watched. Rome negotiated. Rome made promises and broke promises. Rome offered "regularization" and then withdrew it. Rome played games with the Society while the Society tried to keep the faith alive. Archbishop Lefebvre tried - TRULY tried - to reach an agreement with Rome. He met with Pope John Paul II. He met with Cardinal Ratzinger. He signed protocols. He made concessions.

And Rome - the modernist bureaucracy in Rome - sabotaged every attempt at reconciliation. Because they didn't WANT reconciliation. They wanted SUBMISSION. They wanted the Society to accept the novus ordo, the new theology, the new sacraments — everything the Society was founded to PRESERVE against. 

1988 - The Excommunication. On June 30, 1988, Archbishop Lefebvre consecrated four bishops without papal mandate. He did it because he believed - and he was RIGHT - that without bishops, the Society would die. Without bishops, there would be no confirmations. No ordinations. No future. The Archbishop had tried for years to get Rome's approval. Rome had given it and then taken it away.

The Archbishop saw the situation clearly: if he waited, the Society would die. If he acted, he would be excommunicated - but the Society would live. He chose the Society. He chose the faithful. He chose the future of the traditional faith. And Rome - the modernist Rome - issued excommunications. The excommunications were politically motivated. They were canonically questionable. They were pastorally disastrous.

But they were effective in one way: they told the world that the Society was "outside" the Church. "Schismatic." "Excommunicated." The modernists used the excommunications as a weapon - a weapon to scare Catholics away from the SSPX. "You can't go there. They're excommunicated. It's a schism. You'll be sinning." The brainwashing began. The scaring began. The campaign to isolate and marginalize the Society began.

2007-2009 - Pope Benedict XVI and the Protections. Now here's where it gets really interesting. Pope Benedict XVI - a man who understood the liturgy, who understood the tradition, who understood that the old Mass had never been ABOLISHED - did something tremendous. In 2007, he issued Summorum Pontificum. The apostolic letter that declared that the traditional Latin Mass had NEVER been suppressed. That it had ALWAYS been legitimate. That any priest could celebrate it. That the faithful had a RIGHT to it. This was HUGE. This was the Pope himself saying: the SSPX was RIGHT about the Mass.

The Mass was never taken away. The restrictions were illegitimate. The traditional Roman Rite lives. And then in 2009, Benedict went further. He REMOVED the excommunications of the SSPX bishops. He said: these excommunications were a wound that needed to be healed. He reached out to the Society. He wanted reconciliation. He wanted the Society to come home. And the Society WANTED to come home - on the condition that the tradition would be respected. That the Society could continue its work without compromise.

2013-2021 - Pope Francis and the Mixed Signals. Pope Francis came in and everything changed. Francis - a man of "mercy," they said. A man of "dialogue." A man of "encounter." But what did he actually DO regarding the SSPX? In 2015, he declared that all priests - including SSPX priests - could validly absolve sins in confession. In 2016, he extended this permanently. He also allowed SSPX priests to officiate at marriages. These were significant acts. They acknowledged - DE FACTO - that the SSPX was part of the Catholic Church. That its priests were REAL priests. That its sacraments were REAL sacraments. That its faithful were REAL Catholics.

But at the same time, Francis was hostile to tradition. He called traditionalists "rigid." He called them "backwardist." He said they had "hearts like stone." He mocked the Latin Mass and its adherents. He appointed modernist bishops and cardinals who openly despised the traditional liturgy. He created a situation where the SSPX was simultaneously acknowledged and marginalized. Given sacramental faculties and then threatened with suppression. Treated as Catholic and then treated as enemy.

2021-2024 - Traditionis Custodes and the Crackdown. In July 2021, Francis issued Traditionis Custodes, the most devastating attack on the traditional Mass in modern history. He RESTRICTED the old Mass. He gave bishops the power to suppress it. He called it a "source of division." He treated the Mass of the Ages - the Mass that produced every saint the Church venerates - as a PROBLEM. And the faithful who loved that Mass? They were told: you are divisive. You are a problem. You are a threat to "unity." The crackdown began.

Bishops who hated tradition used Traditionis Custodes as a weapon. They banned the old Mass in their dioceses. They persecuted traditional communities. And the SSPX - which had been saying for FIFTY YEARS that this would happen - watched as the Pope himself proved the Society RIGHT.

The SSPX had always said: the modernists will not stop until the old Mass is gone. The modernists will not rest until the tradition is dead. The SSPX was RIGHT. And everyone who had criticized the Society for "disobedience" suddenly had to face the truth: the Society was not disobedient. The Society was PROPHETIC.

2024-2026 - The Escalation. The situation worsened. More restrictions. More suppression. More persecution of traditional communities. The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith - now firmly in the hands of modernists - began targeting the SSPX directly. Not just the Latin Mass in general, but the SOCIETY specifically.

Why? Because the Society is the last institutional witness. The last organized resistance. The last group with the infrastructure, the clergy, the seminaries, the chapels, and the FAITHFUL to sustain the traditional Catholic life without compromise. Kill the SSPX and you kill the traditional movement. That's the calculation. That's the strategy. And on July 2, 2026, the Dicastery issued its decree against the Society.

July 2, 2026 - The Decree. The Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a decree targeting the Society of Saint Pius X. The details are devastating. The intent is clear: to suppress, to restrict, to marginalize, to destroy the last institutional witness to the traditional Catholic faith. The decree is the culmination of 56 years of tension, negotiation, persecution, and prophetic witness. It is the modernist hierarchy's final move against the tradition.

July 11, 2026 - The Recourse. The Society of Saint Pius X submitted a preliminary recourse to the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, in accordance with canons 1734 and following of the Code of Canon Law. This is the mandatory preliminary step before a possible hierarchical recourse. And critically - CRITICALLY - this recourse has the EFFECT of SUSPENDING the execution of the decree, in accordance with canon 1353 of the Code of Canon Law. The decree is SUSPENDED. The excommunication - if there was to be one, if the decree was leading to one - is SUSPENDED. The Society has time. The Society has legal standing. The Society has the protection of the Church's OWN law.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN:

The Dicastery must now consider the recourse. It must review the Society's arguments. It must examine the canonical, theological, and pastoral dimensions of the situation. This will take time. Months, possibly. And during this time, the decree is SUSPENDED. The Society continues to operate. The Society continues to celebrate the Mass. The Society continues to ordain priests. The Society continues to serve the faithful.

The modernists wanted a quick kill. They wanted a decree and then silence. They got a fight. They got a recourse. They got canon 1353 in their face. If the Dicastery rejects the recourse - which is likely, given the modernist composition of the Dicastery - the Society will then have the right to file a hierarchical recourse which goes to the Pope himself. It goes to the highest authority in the Church.

It is the ultimate appeal. And it would be a MASSIVE event. A traditionalist society appealing directly to the Pope against the Pope's own Dicastery. The whole world would be watching. The whole Church would be watching. And the modernists would have to justify — PUBLICLY, CANONICALLY, THEOLOGICALLY — why they are suppressing a society that has kept the faith alive for fifty-six years while they have presided over the greatest collapse of Catholic faith and practice in the history of the Church.

WHAT IS TO COME: And beyond the canonical process, there is the supernatural reality. The SSPX will survive. The SSPX will endure. The SSPX will continue to offer the Mass, the sacraments, and the doctrine that the modern Church has abandoned. And one day the Church will come back to the tradition. The Church ALWAYS comes back to the tradition. Because the tradition is the faith. And the faith cannot die. It cannot be suppressed. It cannot be destroyed.

It can be persecuted. It can be crucified. But it rises again. ALWAYS. The SSPX is the seed of the resurrection. The decree of July 2, 2026, is the crucifixion. The recourse of July 11, 2026, is the moment in the tomb - the waiting, the silence, the suspense. And the resurrection is coming. It is ALWAYS coming. Because Christ is coming. And when He comes, He will find faith on the earth. And where will He find it? In the Society that kept it. In the priests who celebrated it. In the faithful who received it. In the Mass that preserved it.

VIII. THE BIRD'S EYE VIEW - WHY YOU SHOULD FIGHT FOR THE SSPX

Now let me give you the bird's eye view. Why does this matter? Why should YOU care? Why should YOU fight for the Society of Saint Pius X?

Because they are removing EVERYTHING you built. Everything. Your liturgy. Your sacraments. Your doctrine. Your tradition. Your faith. Your children's faith. Your grandchildren's faith. Everything that was built by the saints, the martyrs, the doctors, the fathers, the apostles is being dismantled. Piece by piece. Day by day. Decree by decree.

And you have disloyalty at the top. DISLOYALTY. The shepherds are disloyal to the faith. The hierarchy is disloyal to the tradition. The bishops are disloyal to the Mass that made them bishops. The Pope is disloyal to the oaths he took at his ordination. They have no loyalty to the Church that existed before 1965. They have no loyalty to the faith of their fathers. They have loyalty only to the modernist project - the project of transforming the Catholic Church into a NGO, a social justice organization, a community of "encounter" and "dialogue" that stands for nothing and falls for everything.

And one day soon they will come for the rest. They will say: "Hell? Oh, that's not real. We've moved beyond that. That was medieval. That was primitive. God is love. Love doesn't condemn. There's no hell. There's no judgment. There's no sin. There's no need for confession. There's no need for the Mass. There's no need for the priesthood. There's no need for the Church. Just be nice. Just be kind. Just be inclusive. Just be tolerant. And you'll be fine."

And when that day comes - and it's COMING, it's coming faster than you think - where will you be? Where will you turn? Where will you find the Mass? Where will you find the sacraments? Where will you find a priest who actually believes in hell, in sin, in judgment, in grace, in the supernatural? Where will you find the faith that was handed down from the apostles?

At the SSPX. That's where. At the Society of Saint Pius X. The one place that never bent. The one place that never broke. The one place that kept the faith when everyone else abandoned it.

And if the Society is destroyed - if the decree of July 2, 2026, is executed, if the recourse fails, if the modernists get their way - then where will you go? NOWHERE. You will have nowhere to go. The last door will be closed. The last light will be extinguished. The last witness will be silenced.

So you fight. YOU fight for the SSPX. Not because the Society is perfect. Not because the Society has never made mistakes. Not because every decision the Society has ever made has been right. You fight for the SSPX because the SSPX is the last institutional witness to the traditional Catholic faith. You fight for the SSPX because without the SSPX, the traditional movement dies.

You fight for the SSPX because the SSPX is on the cross — and you do not abandon Christ on the cross. You stand at the foot of the cross. You stand with the Blessed Mother. You stand with Saint John. You stand with the women who did not run away. You STAND. And you witness. And you testify. And you pray. And you fight.

IX. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AS ILLEGAL BRAINWASHING OPERATION - THE ATHEISTIC METHOD

And let me tell you one more thing. The modern Catholic Church - the institution, the hierarchy, the bureaucracy - is operating as an illegal brainwashing operation. Not a church. Not a religion. Not a sacramental body. A brainwashing operation. An atheistic method being pushed to influence society rather than to save souls. 

What do I mean? I mean this: the modern Church does not seek to save souls. It seeks to INFLUENCE. It seeks to be RELEVANT. It seeks to be ACCEPTED by the world. It seeks the approval of the media, the approval of the political elites, the approval of the culture. And to get that approval, it has abandoned the supernatural. It has abandoned the faith. It has abandoned the mission that Christ gave it.

Christ said: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." That's the mission. Save souls. Baptize. Teach. Observe. That's it. That's the whole thing.

The modern Church has replaced that mission with a different one. The new mission is: "Go and influence society. Go and dialogue with other religions. Go and accompany people in their journeys. Go and promote social justice. Go and save the planet. Go and advocate for migrants. Go and condemn capitalism. Go and bless same-sex unions. Go and tell everyone that God loves them and everything is fine and nobody is going to hell and nobody needs to change and nobody needs to repent and nobody needs to convert."

This is not Christianity. This is not the Catholic faith. This is a social program wearing religious vestments. This is atheism with incense. This is a brainwashing operation that uses the language of religion to promote a secular, materialist, leftist agenda. And it is ILLEGAL in the deepest sense - illegal before God. Illegal before the faith. Illegal before the tradition. Illegal before the saints. Illegal before the martyrs who died.

If you follow the old morality, you are "judgmental." If you practice the old piety, you are "superstitious." Resistance is not just wrong - it is EVIL. It is a threat to "unity." It is a threat to the "Council." It is a threat to the "Pope." It must be suppressed.

This is brainwashing. Classic brainwashing. The same techniques used by cults, by communist regimes, by totalitarian movements. Denigrate the old. Elevate the new. Punish dissent. Reward conformity. And the result is Catholics who no longer believe in the supernatural. Who no longer believe in hell. No longer believe in sin. No longer believe in the Real Presence. In the sacrificial nature of the Mass. In anything that cannot be seen, measured, or photographed.

The modern Church has produced a generation of Catholics who are functionally atheist. They may go to Mass but they don't believe it's a sacrifice. They may receive communion but they don't believe it's Christ. They may call themselves Catholic but they don't believe the faith. They have been brainwashed. They have been stripped of the supernatural. They have been emptied of grace. And they don't even know it.

And the SSPX? The SSPX UPGRADES supernatural grace. The SSPX restores what was taken away. The SSPX gives back what was stolen. The SSPX offers the Mass that IS a sacrifice. The SSPX offers the Eucharist that IS Christ. The SSPX offers the doctrine that IS the truth. The SSPX offers the real, actual, supernatural grace of God to souls that are starving for it.

What does it mean to upgrade supernatural grace? It means this: grace is a participation in the divine life. It is God's own life within us. It is what makes us sons of God. It is what makes us heirs of heaven. It is what makes the Mass effective. It is what makes the sacraments powerful. It is what makes prayer meaningful. It is what makes the Catholic faith CATHOLIC.

And the modern Church has DOWNGRADED grace. It has reduced grace to a feeling. To a "experience." To a "encounter." To something subjective, personal, and ultimately meaningless. The modern Church treats grace like a therapy session - something that makes you feel better about yourself. Something that helps you "accompany" others. Something that has no objective reality, no supernatural power, no eternal significance.

The SSPX UPGRADES grace by restoring the conditions under which grace flows. The traditional Mass. The traditional sacraments. The traditional doctrine. The traditional piety. These are not old-fashioned customs. They are the CHANNELS of grace. They are the means by which God's life enters our souls. They are the infrastructure of the supernatural. And the SSPX has maintained that infrastructure - at great cost, with great suffering, with great persecution - for 56 years.

X. THE SUSPENSION - HOW THE RECOURSE TEMPORARILY HALTS THE EXECUTION

And so we return to the recourse. The legal reality. The canonical situation. Because it matters. It matters tremendously.

Canon 1734 of the Code of Canon Law gives every person - EVERY person - who considers himself harmed by an administrative act the right to seek its correction. This is not a special privilege for the SSPX. This is a universal right. The Church's own law recognizes that administrative acts can be unjust, can be harmful, can be wrong. And the Church's own law provides a remedy: the recourse. Canon 1353 of the Code of Canon Law states that the execution of an administrative act is SUSPENDED when a recourse is filed. SUSPENDED.

The act cannot be executed while the recourse is pending. The person who filed the recourse - in this case, the Society of Saint Pius X - is protected from the effects of the act until the recourse is resolved.

This means: the decree of July 2, 2026, is SUSPENDED. It cannot be executed. It cannot be enforced. It cannot be implemented. Not while the recourse is pending. Not while the Dicastery is reviewing the Society's arguments. Not while the canonical process is underway.

If the decree was leading to suppression of the Society - and many believe it was - the suppression is SUSPENDED. The Society continues to exist. The Society continues to operate. The Society continues to function. Not yet suppressed. Not yet destroyed. Not yet silenced.

This is tremendous. This is HUGE. The Church's own law - the law that the modernists are bound to respect - protects the Society from the modernists' own decree. The canons shield the Society from the hierarchy. The law defends the faithful from the shepherds. And the Society - by filing this recourse - has invoked that law. Has claimed that protection. Has stood on the rights that the Church HERSELF recognizes.

And this is not disobedience. This is OBEDIENCE. This is obedience to the law of the Church. This is obedience to the canons. This is obedience to the legal system that the Church has established for the protection of ALL the faithful. The Society is not rebelling. The Society is APPEALING. The Society is not rejecting authority. The Society is EXERCISING its rights within authority. The Society is not schismatic. The Society is CANONICAL.

And the modernists know it. They KNOW that the Society has the right to file this recourse. They KNOW that canon 1353 suspends the decree. They KNOW that the Society is acting within the law. And it drives them CRAZY. Because they wanted a quick kill. They wanted a decree and then silence. They wanted to crush the Society before anyone could react. And the Society- calm, deliberate, canonical - filed a recourse. And the decree is suspended. And the modernists have to wait. And the Society has time. And the faithful have hope.

The Society of Saint Pius X entrusts this request to the competent authorities. And commends this undertaking to the prayers of ALL the faithful.

ALL the faithful. Not just traditionalists. Not just SSPX chapel-goers. ALL faithful Catholics. Because this is not just about the SSPX. This is about the Church. This is about the faith. The supernatural. The Mass. The sacraments. The souls of every Catholic on earth.

If the SSPX falls, the tradition falls. If the tradition falls, the faith falls. If the faith falls, the Church falls. If the Church falls, the world falls. Because the Church is the salt of the earth. And if the salt loses its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing but to be cast out and trodden underfoot by men.

The SSPX is the salt. The SSPX has kept its savor. The SSPX has not compromised with the world. The SSPX has not watered down the faith. The SSPX has not abandoned the Mass. The SSPX has not forgotten the supernatural. And the world needs the SSPX - needs the salt - more now than at any time in history.

So pray. Pray for the Society. Pray for the recourse. Pray for the Dicastery - that it will justice, that it will see truth, that it will do what is right. Pray for the Pope - that he will protect the tradition, that he will defend the Mass, that he will be a shepherd and not a wolf.

Pray for the Church - that she will return to her roots, to her tradition, to her supernatural faith. Pray for the faithful - that they will stand, that they will witness, that they will testify. Pray for the world - that it will once again hear the Mass of the Ages, receive the sacraments of grace, and believe the faith of the apostles.

The Society of Saint Pius X is on the cross. But the cross is not the end. The cross is NEVER the end. The cross is the beginning. The cross is the path. The cross is the way. And after the cross — after the suffering, after the persecution, after the decree, after the recourse, after the waiting — comes the resurrection.

ALWAYS comes the resurrection.

XI. THE CONCLUSION — THE PRAYER, THE HOPE, THE FUTURE

Because the SSPX is not just a society. The SSPX is a witness. A testimony. A light in the darkness. A voice in the wilderness. A candle on the altar. A flame that has not been extinguished. A Mass that has not been suppressed. A faith that has not been destroyed. A tradition that has not been abandoned. A Church that has not been conquered.

And it will NOT be conquered. Not by decrees. Not by dicasteries. Not by modernists. Not by communists. Not by atheists. Not by wolves. Not by anyone. Not by anything. Not ever.

The cross stands. The Mass continues. The faith endures. The Society persists. The grace flows. The supernatural lives. And Christ — Christ who was crucified, Christ who died, Christ who rose again, Christ who lives forever — Christ is with us. Even to the consummation of the world.
