TUCHO'S THREATS BACKFIRE: SSPX MASSGOERS UP 20+%

To comment please open your gmail account or use my email address, FB Messenger or X.

The Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Victor 'Tucho' Fernández, has contradicted 2000 years of Catholic doctrine. He 'firmly' believes everyone is 'saved'. There we have it: the man responsible for guarding the deposit of faith for the Catholic Church has publicly converted to Protestantism.

And in two days time this
Prince of the Church is expected to 'excommunicate' 600,000 faithful Catholics, worldwide. Fernández is not a prince of the Church, but a hireling in the Ape of Church and a servant (wittingly or unwittingly) of Satan.

It's the height of absurdity. It's actually risible. But only slightly more absurd than Cardinal Gerhard Müller (who strange to say was +Fernández' predecessor) saying that the post-conciliar hierarchy has never departed from Tradition, and that the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) is wrong to say they have.

Müller proposes a renewed version of the *motu proprio* “Ecclesia Dei adflicta,” aiming to replicate the fraud of 1988 by passing off fidelity to the immutable Magisterium as schism, and the acceptance of the Council’s errors as orthodoxy.

We have reached the point of "credo quia absurdum". ("I believe because it is absurd").

The Conciliar and synodal Church claims the power to reshape reality, taming it to fit its own narrative. It demands uncritical and contradictory assent from the faithful, under pain of excommunication. His Eminence believes that the clergy and laity attached to the Fraternity can be appeased by offering them a substitute for what they already possess—much like tossing a bone to a chained dog.

Müller will soon discover - and also the former "Ecclesia Dei" institutes - that reducing the denunciation of the conciliar coup to a matter of ceremony is shortsighted and ideological, especially when the hierarchy has no intention of yielding in the slightest on the heretical principles it promotes.

The pseudo-Catholic conservatism of these gatekeepers serves the implementation of synodality and must be scornfully rejected." (Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.)

It's the Novus Ordo effect: it's the Freemasonic, planned outcome of subjecting Catholics, for 60 years, to the apostate spectacle of a 'presider' priest usurping the place of the Eucharistic Jesus Christ at centre-stage in the Mass, while the Blessed Sacrament is relegated to the sidelines or off-stage completely.

But quelle horreur! This sounds awfully like criticism of the postconciliar Vatican and support for the SSPX - whose recent, magnificent, Profession of Faith should be the belief of the entire Church, especially (you'd think) of traditional Catholics. But the diotrads and the indult crowd venemously attack the Society and its faithful for making fraternal correction of Leo's Rome (a spiritual work of mercy upheld by Canon Law 212). They seem to want to kill the goose that lays them golden eggs. You might call it SSPX Derangement Syndrome (pace, Pax Orbis!)

The Catholic Esquire, aka 'the chap in the hat' - who has some diotrads wringing their pearls - has reported on X that the local FSSP pastor criticized the SSPX for consecrating bishops in his sermon on Sunday.
"In doing so, he defended Vatican II, religious liberty, and denied there was a crisis in the Church. He just called it a “mess.” He proves July 1 is NOT just about the TLM."

Not even, we would add. It's about the incompatibility of the Mystical Body of Christ, which has its ultimate, sublime expression in the Traditional Latin Mass, with the postconciliar Ape of the Church and its assorted, attendant heresies.

The excommunications would only be the thin end of the Vatican's wedge. They could be - as in 1988 - the lamb whose blood will ransom another TLM indult, but the eventual extermination of the Mass of Ages and any fealty to the doctrine of ages is pretty much Leo's and Tucho's raison d'être.

They are desperate: after all, this is their life's work - to substitute the Catholic Church for a new world church at the service of communist globalists. But their threats of excommunication and schism are backfiring badly: reports suggest that since the "illicit" consecrations were announced, attendance at SSPX Masses has increased by 20+%.

In a sermon delivered on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in the church of Saint-Nicolas-du-Chardonnet, in Paris, Father Denis Puga SSPX explained that excommunication does not remove someone from the Church; it's a punishment.

[T]he excommunicated person can no longer receive the sacraments; they can no longer be given communion, hence the word. It is very serious, certainly; it is a very severe penalty, but it does not place someone outside the Church.

Schism consists of rejecting the authority of those who occupy the sees of the successors of the Apostles: the Pope and the bishops. To reject their authority is to no longer recognize them as legitimate pastors, which is absolutely not the case for us.

Cardinal Fernández, before being appointed to Rome by Pope Francis, was Archbishop of La Plata, Argentina, and was known for his pronouncements and writings.

In these writings, he explained that today the Church no longer condemns or excludes, and he compared this to the Church of the past, the Church before Vatican II. He said, "What kind of Church was this that allowed itself to judge, to prevent people from receiving communion, to refuse absolution to certain individuals?" For him, this was scandalous. In one text, he even went so far as to compare it to a kind of Gestapo.

And this is the same man who, today, is raising the specter of excommunication and threatening schism. It's laughable, if it weren't so serious, it would be laughable. And I won't even mention the accusations concerning his handling, while he was in Argentina, of extremely serious moral problems in his diocese. That's a public matter, but I won't say any more.

[Y]ou'll see: voices will begin to rise. Journalists, especially at this time of year, often have little to say. So we'll be called schismatics, heretics; perhaps we'll be excommunicated, I don't know, I'm not a prophet. But I'll simply tell you: remain at peace.

Saint Joan of Arc was judged by the Church, she was burned at the stake, and you know that in her final moments, she asked for a crucifix to be brought to her. She gazed upon this crucifix, invoking the holy name of Jesus to come to her aid and help her in this terrible suffering. And on her head, she wore a mitre. On this mitre were written these words: "Witch, heretic, schismatic, excommunicated."

"And today? Today, the Church venerates Saint Joan of Arc not only as a saint, but also as the patron saint of France...." (Redacted.) https://fsspx.news/en/news/will-be-excommunicated-59793

From Stephen Kokx at Radical Fidelity:

In the past 48 hours I have once again been mocked and calumniated for defending the Catholic faith.

This is, of course, expected, as Christ warned us that we will be hated for His sake. Perhaps I should mention that the latest attacks came from the conservative Trad Inc. camp and were not only leveled at me, but also at my colleagues over at Integrity Magazine.

But the “our” in the headline of this article ["Let us Imagine for one Moment that our Enemies are Correct"] does not refer only to my colleagues and me, but also to you, my readership.

Let us put aside for a moment, labels such as “sedevacantist”, “traditionalist”, “sedeprivationist” and whatever else. I think it would be safe to assume that, for the most part, readers here, and over at Integrity Magazine, are Catholics who love Christ and the Catholic faith and who, because of this, have realized that something has been seriously wrong for a very long time.

Many have come to the reasonable conclusion that the men who have been running this little circus for the past 60 years, as well as the church they represent and the religion they tout, are not Catholic and are not promoting Catholicism.

Hence my including you in the above “our”.

At an outdoor "Pride Mass" this week In New York, Fr Chris Lawton claimed the Church is carrying out acts of injustice against "transgenders". He won't be receiving an excommunication next week.

Now let us imagine for a moment that those “trads” and “conservatives” who want to straddle both sides of the fence are correct, that the “church” to which they swear allegiance is correct, that the “religion” it advances is correct, and that we are wrong.

If they are correct, it means that it is perfectly acceptable that a man who stated in an essay that he believes in universal salvation (a heresy), who writes soft porn books, and who has waged war on Our Lady, is currently the man who heads the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith and therefore is, after their “pope”, the man tasked with protecting the doctrinal purity of the Catholic faith.

By implication, this means that he has advanced to that position within an institutional culture that condones his garbage. Not only that, but two “popes” have legitimized him as a prelate worthy of the position. Yet according to the latest attacks, we are the “nutjobs”.

+Lawton's a Paulist. This is a graphic from the Paulists themselves.

If our critics are correct, and we are merely crazy “LARPers”, then there is nothing wrong with the Archbishop of Washington, not only presiding over an LGBTQ “Mass”, but also using the occasion to tell the audience that the Church has been wrong about their sin.

He is of course not the only one blessing the diabolical LGBTQ ideology. It has become part and parcel of this new church. But to our critics, and keep in mind that they identify as “traditional” Catholics, this is absolutely acceptable in their ‘Catholic’ Church with which we should be in agreement.

On the topic of rainbow sins, according to our critics, when one of their sons or daughters comes to them and informs them that they are “gay” and were “born this way”, they are not allowed to correct them and, even if they tried, would not be able to, because the “church” they claim is the Catholic Church now blesses couples in these relationships.

In other words, our critics’ “Catholic Church” blesses a sinful lifestyle that both Scripture and the Church have condemned. But hey, we are the ones who are “outside” the Catholic Church.

According to our critics, during my lunch break I cannot strike up a conversation with my Muslim or Jewish colleague and tell him about Jesus Christ and how He is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life”, because we already worship the same God and, anyway, my Jewish colleague does not need Christ because his covenant with God is still in place.

This despite the fact that, before the birth of this “new Catholicism”, the Church denounced Islam as a heresy and prayed for the conversion of the Jews. Yet our critics think that we are the lunatics who do not follow the Catholic faith.

Now let us take a quick look at one of our critics’ fellow “Catholics” with whom we are supposedly required to be in communion and who, according to our critics, whether they like it or not, they themselves must also remain in communion with.

This past week the associate editor of Jesuit magazine America and co-host of the show Jesuitical (I know, do not ask), Zac Davis, wrote the following:

“I cannot express how much I dislike the St. Michael Prayer after Mass. It is so, so jarring to me every time. To say nothing of the intent/content of the prayer, the language, and repetition and prominence given to it breed a sense of paranoia and cynicism. Instead of going out to evangelize the world, everyone is ready to go to war with it.”

Not only is this indicative of the mentality in this new religion, but it is clear that every ounce of testosterone has left Davis’ body.

As I said on X: shame, get him a pumpkin spice latte and fix his makeup. Clearly a man molded in the image of that prime example of masculinity, Cardinal Victor “Porn” Fernandez.  According to our critics, this is the sort of strong “Catholicism” that their “church” produces.

If our critics are correct, then there is nothing strange about bishops and priests participating in interreligious prayer services in which pagan idols are placed in churches, incense is burned before them, and Catholics are expected to nod along as though the First Commandment has suddenly acquired footnotes and exceptions.

If our critics are correct, then when Catholics watched ceremonies involving Pachamama statues being carried into the Vatican Gardens and honored in the presence of the highest authorities in their “Church”, they witnessed not scandal, not sacrilege, and not religious indifferentism, but authentic Catholicism in action.

If our critics are correct, then the martyrs died for a distinction without a difference. The early Christians went to their deaths rather unnecessarily, seeing as all those pagan priests, temple attendants, and worshippers were apparently just “fellow travellers” on “different paths” to the same destination.

If our critics are correct, then St. Boniface should have left the sacred oak standing, the missionaries should have stayed home, and generations of Catholics wasted an awful lot of time converting the nations when they could simply have organized dialogue sessions and exchanged pleasantries over tea.

And yet we are expected to believe that we are the extremists, the fanatics, and the ones who have somehow departed from Catholic tradition.

Or what about those fine defenders of the Catholic faith who, under the sanctimonious gaze of our critics’ “pope”, tear out altar rails, ban Latin Masses, and refuse Communion to those who know they must kneel before Christ the King when they receive Him in the Eucharist? According to our critics, we need to be in agreement with these men and obey them.

Are our critics going to accept it when these very same men tell them that they will no longer be allowed to attend the TLM, and force synodal “trad” communities to celebrate the Novus Ordo in Latin? Or was it perhaps all the same to them all along? Asking for a “nutjob sede“ friend.

I can continue, but I think you, dear reader, get the idea.

Now, before I conclude, I want both to warn and encourage you.

I am firmly convinced that most of you have seen the light and have come to the truth about the situation. If you do not yet find yourself “outside” their apostate synodal church, many of you who are SSPX faithful soon will. Praise be to God Almighty. Light can have no fellowship with darkness.

Know this, though. They are going to mock you, calumniate you, lie about you, persecute you, ostracize you, gaslight you, and eventually do worse. Do not give an inch.

Here is what Our Lord said. In Luke 18:8, Christ, knowing the future, asks His disciples: “But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?”

Now you need to ask yourself: is this faith Christ is speaking of the faith of the Catholic Church, handed down through the successors of Peter and the Apostles for almost 2,000 years, or is it the new abomination that was spawned at the Second Vatican Council 61 years ago?

Elsewhere in Holy Scripture, in the Apocalypse (or the Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John), Christ spells out for us who will be victorious in the end:

“Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.[Emphasis mine].

Again, ask yourself: which faith do you need to keep? The faith that Jesus handed down to us through the Apostles and their successors, or the false religion of the Synodal Church, which they dress up in pseudo-Catholic language?

I think the answer is clear: the faith of Jesus.

Do not let these confused men and women who claim to be “traditional” Catholics gaslight or bully you. As one of the readers rightly pointed out, they are the ones of whom Holy Scripture speaks in Matthew 13:13 when it says “Seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand,” and in Jeremias 5:21 which reads “O foolish people, and without understanding: who have eyes, and see not: and ears, and hear not.

I will leave you with this. Roughly seven times in the Apocalypse of St. John, Christ tells us that to be victorious we need to endure and persevere. Persevere in the faith of the Catholic Church.

Make sure that when He returns, or when you are called to stand before Him, you are among the few in whom He will find this faith of His Church.

Our Lady, Co-redemptrix, pray for us…

Our Lady, Mediatrix of all Graces, pray for us…

God condemns no one to hell , but he honors their choices as they condemn themselves to hell by the way they lived and the sins they willingly committed.

Modernism is the synthesis of all heresies as said by the everlasting Pope Pius X has firmly taken root in the Vatican. The stench is overwhelming.

    simply put,
If this Fernandez states that everyone is saved or will be saved, THEN WHAT IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH for?
...Fernandez then might just resign coz his Church is just a redundancy. He can work in a soup kitchen.
