'PATERNAL' PREVOST GIVES HIS SSPX SONS A STONE

SSPX and the Vatican

Robert Prevost (aka 'Pope Leo XIV') has made a pathetic, plaintive appeal to the Society of St Pius X (SSPX) to 'desist' from consecrating its four new bishops at Econe, Switzerland today. His letter of June 29 reads as the sob story of a rejected father, but in reality he's given his SSPX sons a stone when they asked for bread.

'The Holy Father' is disingenuous, at best. He's"filled with Christian affection" for the Society - but although he's met Bad Bunny, an Anglican Archbishopress, leftist politicians, atheists, pro-trans and pro-abortion activists, he has not met the SSPX Superior-General, Fr Davide Pagliarani. Instead, he writes him a note.

In that 'paternal' missive, the detail that leaps to the eye is this: "I address you and, through you the ... faithful connected to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X." And further, "I  urge you to consider carefully the spiritual good of the faithful, because the schismatic act you are about to undertake would deprive them of the licit and, in some cases, even valid reception of the Sacraments,"

The oh-so-paternal Prevost and his lubricious lieutenant, Cardinal Victor 'Tucho' Fernandez, are evidently running scared. They know what scorn would be heaped on them even by the world, for crass hypocrisy, if they excommunicate any of the Society - bishops priests or laity. Cornered, they resort to threats to the sacramental life of 600,000 faithful Catholics to deter the Society from its episcopal consecrations - while claiming concern for their 'spiritual good'.

The Vatican's bully-boy tactics will serve only to firm the resolve of these holy men: how could they consign the SSPX faithful to the care of Leo's postconciliar bishops, who routinely ordain pederasts and heretics, who indulge in daily abuse of the Most Holy Eucharist worldwide and half of whom (at minimum) live in a perpetual state of mortal sin?

What's more, in the US - at least - these postconciliar bishops employ horrendous, sadistic means to coerce good, orthodox priests and seminarians to convert to their new world religion. Anyone still doubting the need in the Catholic Church now for holy bishops and priests should watch Anthony Stine on this topic. But be warned: the psychiatric mistreatment of potentially good priests as reported by Stine is downright disgusting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVUiMrYx0e0

Prevost and Fernandez refuse the maundatum to the SSPX, and deny the Society  everything they
claim to synodality obligates him to deliver - 'listening, dialogue, accompaniment' - simply because the Society refuses to accept their new religion: Vatican II's postconciliar Ape of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. If there were any other reasons for Leo's intransigence, he would surely name them. But he can't. Because no such reasons exist.

In his little note, Prevost has the hubris, the preposterous cheek, to appeal to 'the Lord' to enlighten SSPX consciences. As a proven idolater and heretic he invites invidious comparison with his own conscience and faithful Catholics' careful consideration of exactly who is the 'Lord' he calls upon.

And what do you know, 'Pope Leo XIV' invokes the satanic Cardinal Joseph Bernardin's ideology of the Seamless Garment  – the idea that has led to the widespread abandonment of abortion being acknowledged as the pre-eminent social issue of our times. "[T]o tear the seamless garment of Christ is a sin of extreme gravity," Prevost writes, unctuously. As well he might; the Seamless Garment idea is an icon of the pro-abortion, homosexual movement that "FtR" Prevost has inculcated within the Church.

With that humility and meekness which is learned only from the Sacred Heart of Jesus - and a characteristic of the Society - Fr Davide Pagliarani responded to "the Most Holy Father" 'in a letter dated yesterday. He believes that is "the duty of the Society to mend the seamless garment of Christ, torn by forces and pressures incompatible with a truly Catholic spirit." The SSPX, he says, wishes to serve the Church by means that are extraodinary, as one would assist a mother in distress who requires particular help.

"Your Holiness," writes +Pagliarani, "is urging me to avoid a schism which, theoretically, has already taken place." "Above all", he appeals to his "Holiness" to consider the thousands who have rediscovered the Catholic faith and the practice of religion through the Apostolate of the SSPX, whose one desire is to save their souls "through this instrument which Divine Providence has placed at their disposal."

Somehow one suspects that particular appeal to Prevost and Fernandez will fall on deaf ears. Judging by their words and deeds, they don't give a toss for the Catholic faith or the practice of any religion but that of their own invention. And it would seem they intend souls to be sacrificed on the altar of that religion rather than be saved.

SSPX demonstrates an astute awareness of evil that Bergoglio (and now Leo) seem to be complicit in.

News broke a while ago that Leo XIV has sent a letter to the Superior General of the SSPX, Davide Pagliarani, urging the fraternity of traditional priests not to proceed with the planned episcopal consecrations due to take place in Écône tomorrow (July 1).

The letter, which seems like a half-hearted and dishonest attempt to maintain the appearance of desiring a solution, is dated June 29.

One striking detail in the letter is the fact that it is addressed not only to Pagliarani, the bishops, priests, and seminarians of the Society, but also to the faithful who attend its Masses.

This is an important detail in light of rumors that the laity who attend SSPX Masses will also be designated schismatic by the Vatican and therefore excommunicated.

The letter in full:

With a paternal heart, and aware of the responsibility entrusted to me by the Lord as the Successor of the Apostle Peter, I address you and, through you, the bishops, priests, seminarians and faithful connected to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X.

The Church recognizes the devotion to liturgical life, commitment to priestly formation, apostolic zeal and desire for fidelity to Tradition that characterize many people and communities connected to your Fraternity.

This has motivated the attentive and generous attitude that my Predecessors have consistently shown to you.

In this spirit, and filled with Christian affection, I plead with you and ask you with all my heart: please turn back! I urge you to consider carefully the spiritual good of the faithful, because the schismatic act you are about to undertake would deprive them of the licit and, in some cases, even valid reception of the Sacraments, which they love and seek for their sanctification.

The Church is open to a path of dialogue and understanding that the Holy Spirit can make possible and fruitful.

I pray for you, because to tear the seamless garment of Christ is a sin of extreme gravity. May the Lord enlighten your consciences and awaken your hearts.

With a sorrowful yet hopeful heart, I feel it is my duty, through the authority received from Christ, to ask you to desist from your intended act. I entrust these intentions to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of Good Counsel.

Solemnity of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul

At the time of publication, it remains unclear whether the SSPX has responded or intends to do so.https://radicalfidelity.substack.com/p/leo-xiv-sends-letter-to-sspx-urging
