The world is staring right now into the hecatomb of World War III, but distracts itself with the spectacle of LGBTQI+ and transgender lunacy. American model Alex Consani (above) is the first-ever man masquerading as a woman to be named Model of the Year, in London this week. He beat five women who were shortlisted. 

Last night in New Zealand, TvOneSpews boasted of "world-first" census data showing that "LGBTQI+ New Zealanders have been experiencing severe housing deprivation at higher rates than non-LGBTQI+". As if Kiwis should be happy to rent their houses to the mentally ill. As if women should accept that men compete against them, as women, and win.

And last week in Rome, Antipope Francis welcomed yet another trans activist, actress and icon Nava Mau, to his home. As if he has all the time in the world for LGBTQ identities while he has none for the five cardinals who asked him those awkward questions back in 2016. 

Why do men pretend to be women? Is it because women rejected their destiny as mothers and entered the public square to compete with men, and because God had given them the qualities necessary to raise the next generation, they beat men hands down? So men get their own back, doing violence to women but in the most effeminate way possible.

American model Alex Consani has become the first transgender woman to win Model of the Year, following a string of high-profile runway appearances for labels like Chanel, Stella McCartney and Victoria’s Secret.

 

The in-demand 21-year-old, who is known for her distinctive bleached hair and eyebrows, claimed the title at the 2024 Fashion Awards in London on Monday evening.

 

In her acceptance speech, Consani told a star-studded audience at the Royal Albert Hall that her victory marked a “big step in the right direction.”

 

“Now, more than ever, it’s an important conversation that should be had about how to truly support and uplift one another within this industry, especially those who have been made to feel insignificant,” she added, to cheers from the crowd, after collecting her trophy from model and body activist Ashley Graham and “Baby Reindeer” star Nava Mau.

LGBTQI+ New Zealanders have been experiencing severe housing deprivation at higher rates than non-LGBTQI+ — according to world-first Census data out today.

 

The numbers collected in the 2023 Census show at that time, 261 per 10,000 LGBTQI+ people aged 15 and over (4413) were estimated to be living in severe housing deprivation.

 

The rate was 212 per 10,000 who are not LGBTQI+.

 

The LGBTQI+ population had higher proportions of people affected across all categories of homelessness — those without shelter, in temporary accommodation, sharing someone else's private dwelling, and those in uninhabitable housing.

 

Who would not want to let their property to men like this? 

 

The highest deprivation rates were among Pacific peoples.

 

University of Otago Senior Research Fellow Brodie Fraser told 1News that it was "a big deal" for Aotearoa to be the first in the world to have all-of-population data on LGBTQI+ homelessness, showing how disproportionately affected this community is.

They said it was commonplace for members of the rainbow community to take one another in, to prevent people from living on the streets, when they were not accepted anywhere else.

 

"It can put a big strain on relationships."

 

They said often the public was unaware of the scale of the problem.

 

"There's not many of us doing this sort of research in New Zealand and you can feel a little bit lonely sometimes just kind of shouting into the void."

They hoped the data would bring impetus to a Government response, with targeted help.

 

"It's brushed off where [some leaders] say, well, 'we don't know the scale of the problem, so how are we going to do anything about it if we, you know, we don't even have that basic data, so it's too hard'. And now we finally got this data."

At the time of the 2023 Census, at least 112,496 people overall (2.3% of the census usually resident population) were estimated to be severely housing deprived.

That's up around 13,000 people on the 2018 figures.
