AT LAST BERGOGLIO, REHABILITATING JUDAS, CONDEMNS HIMSELF

At last the man the world calls Pope Francis has shed his mask of mercy. He reveals himself definitively as Satan's right-hand man. We defy any prelate or priest of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church to defend Jorge Bergoglio now without aligning himself with the forces of evil.

I doubted this story. Not that I couldn't believe that Bergoglio, as the so-called pope, would allow the traitor Judas to be whitewashed in the Vatican's prestigious L'Osservatore Romano newspaper - and on Holy Thursday, to boot: Bergoglio is a Judas himself, and the bishops and priests throughout the world who hang on his words and cassock-tails are Judases likewise.

But I could not find the April 1, Maundy Thursday edition on line. Had the story caused such a brouhaha that it was pulled? Or was it an April Fools' Day prank?

But no, it's kosher all right, and here it is, per kind favour of Church Militant.

In a ringing endorsement of the world's best-known traitor, the Vatican's most prestigious publication has dedicated its Maundy Thursday Italian edition to rehabilitating Judas Iscariot through word and art.

L'Osservatore Romano's front page features a painting of a naked Jesus by an unnamed artist bending over a dead Judas who has a blood-red loincloth around his waist. The tree on which Judas has hung himself ...

Ahem. "Hanged himself."

... is in the background.

In "Judas and the Scandal of Mercy," which accompanies the illustration, L'Osservatore Romano highlighted the "most tragic and unsettling" figure in the New Testament.

The publication's director Andrea Monda ... praises the work as having "dizzying expressive power" which "can be admired on the front page".

The painting is the "fruit of the meditations" of Pope Francis' book Quando pregate dite Padre Nostro (When you pray say Our Father).

In the 2018 book, Francis speaks of Judas and God's mercy, basing his theological argument for Judas' salvation on a sculpture on a column in the Basilica of St. Mary Magdalene in Vézelay, Burgundy.

Francis has a picture of this sculpture hung behind his desk in his study. and explains that the painting is inspired by Francis' reflections on the "same sculpture that portrays Jesus as the Good Shepherd carrying Judas as the last lost sheep".

The sculpture does not portray Jesus as any such thing. The man carrying the body of Judas away is a labourer, as one can tell by his dress - and by his expression of distaste at having to discharge such a disgusting duty (the body of Judas would have been left all that hot Good Friday, to be given a shameful burial after dark).https://www.traditioninaction.org/HotTopics/P046_Judas.htm

A French Catholic artist decided to give this painting to the pope. It now occupies pride of place in the papal sudy next to an image of the sculpture of "Jesus carrying Judas".

"This scene is powerful, precisely it is true for the believer," Monda comments. "The crucified Christ embraces Judas after having removed him from the tree on which he committed suicide."

Drawing on St. Paul's first letter to the Corinthians where the Apostle speaks of "the scandal of proclaiming the crucified Christ," Monda stresses "the mercy of the dead and risen Jesus is the source [stone] of scandal even today in a world accustomed to condemning rather than forgiving."

Priest's 1958 Sermon Invoked

L'Osservatore Romano's inside pages dedicated to Judas feature a controversial 1958 Maundy Thursday sermon preached in Mantua, Italy by partisan and pacifist Fr. Primo Mazzolari.

"And by calling him brother, we are using the language of the Lord," Mazzolari preaches. "See, Judas, our brother! Brother in this common misery and this surprise! ... I also love Judas; he is my brother Judas."

The priest climaxes his sermon by saying he will pray for Judas this evening, "because I don't judge, ...

Inspiration for Bergoglio, obviously, in his infamous statement about sodomites, "Who am I to judge?" And inspiration for his throngs of followers who can't tell the difference between judging a deed and judging its doer.

... I don't condemn. I should judge myself; I should sentence myself."Mazzolari concludes ...

Dear Fr Mazzolari, why bother? In the fulness of time God will save you the trouble.

... with the suggestion that Judas may have been saved because of the "mercy of God," especially as the word "friend" used by Jesus to address him would have "made its way into his poor heart."

"Perhaps [Judas] is first Apostle who entered [into paradise] with the two thieves," Mazzolari declares.

Anarchist: John Distorted Judas

The hugely controversial postwar writer Giuseppe Berto — who was a fascist in his youth and later described himself as an "anarchist out of desperation and disgust" — also features, with two excerpts from his 1978 book, The Glory.

According to Berto, Judas has no intention of betraying Jesus. It is the gospel writer John who distorts the story by a dishonest portrayal of the hapless Judas.

"I was one of yours, and I know that in a certain way I was too and perhaps most loved until the end, but John, who hated me, hastened in his story to exclude me from your love," Berto's reconstructed Judas tells Jesus.

30 Pieces of Silver: Too Paltry?

A final essay is by Giovanni Papini — a controversial novelist and popularizer of the literary schools of pragmatism, futurism and post-decadence, who argues that Judas must have had an ulterior motive to betray Jesus as 30 silver coins was "a very small sum of money, especially for a man who was coveted by wealth."

"Who coveted wealth", perhaps?

Francis: The 'Mercy' Leitmotif

Sources close to the Vatican told Church Militant that Andrea Monda was merely restating the theology of Pope Francis, "who has been seeking to rehabilitate Judas under the rubric of 'mercy' — a leitmotif of the Francis pontificate."

In 2016, Francis speculated: "Perhaps if he had met the Virgin Mary, things would have gone differently, but the poor man goes away, doesn't find a way out of his situation, and he went to hang himself."

"I do not claim that Judas is in Heaven and saved. But I do not claim the opposite," Francis told Die Zeit in 2017.

Typical modern Jesuit. Ambiguity is a Jesuit's best friend. So much for "But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil"(Mt 5:37).

On Wednesday of Holy Week 2020, Francis again suggested that Judas may have been forgiven:

"How did Judas end? I don't know," Francis asked, quoting Jesus: "Woe to that man from whom the Son of Man is betrayed — better for that man if he had never been born!"

"Does this mean that Judas is in Hell?"...

Seems that Bergoglio is accusing Jesus of ambiguity.

..."I don't know.

Does this man know which way is up? Oh yes, he does.

I look at the Gospel and, He calls him 'friend,' and He kisses him," the pontiff said.

Jesus' Irony Convicts Judas?

Catholic New Testament scholar Raymond Brown in The Death of the Messiah explains that Jesus is using irony. There is irony in Judas greeting Jesus with a kiss and saying, "Hail, Rabbi!" Jesus responds with equal irony: "Friend, do what you came to do."

Jesus also does not use the word for a bosom friend, i.e. philos. Instead, He calls Judas hetairos — comrade or colleague — a term used exclusively by Matthew and always used negatively.

Even I knew that. Bergoglio does too, of course. More Jesuitical posteuring.

Moreover, biblical scholars note that Judas does not repent since Matthew uses the Greek verb metameslesthai, not metanoia, to describe Judas' "remorse" or "regret." This verb is very occasionally translated as "repent."https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/rome-rehabilitates-judas-on-maundy-thursday

From the Collect for Holy Thursday: “O God, from whom Judas received the punishment of his guilt, the thief, the reward of his confession...” Even if Bergoglio pretends that Judas might be innocent and forgiven, the Church he's supposed to lead as her Pontiff knows better, and proves it by her liturgical prayer.

And Acts 1:25:  Judas hath by transgression fallen, that he might go to his own place.”

Does Bergoglio and his Judas Church need to have it explained that "his own place" is hell?

"Do not drag me away with the wicked,

          with the evil-doers,

who speak words of peace to their neighbours

but with evil in their hearts."

IRISH ROCK MASSES REVISITED AFTER REPEAL OF ABORTION BAN

Fr Gerard Quirke celebrates Mass on Easter Sunday at Keem Bay, Ireland

Is this what New Zealand's Catholics can expect? Under its secularist overlords, in Ireland Easter Masses were banned - again. While in Protestant Northern Ireland church services resumed, in "Catholic" Ireland this priest resorted to a Rock Mass, like those celebrated in secret on beaches and moors in the era of penal laws.

Catholic churches in Ireland are still open, but only for private prayer - and if enough people can't be found to oversee such 'private prayer', well tough: the Irish bishops say they'll have to lock up.

We have to ask ourselves if this is a chastisement visited on the Church in Ireland by Almighty God for the landslide vote of  YES to repealing the ban on abortions in May 2018.

As the New York Times crowed at the time, "Ireland voted decisively to repeal one of the world’s more restrictive abortion bans, sweeping aside generations of conservative patriarchy and dealing the latest in a series of stinging rebukes to the Roman Catholic Church. ... In the past three years alone, Ireland has installed a gay man as prime minister and has voted in another referendum to allow same-sex marriage."https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/26/world/europe/ireland-abortion-yes.html

Well New Zealand's prime minister might not be a sodomite, but she is an unmarried mother and of course we now have same-sex 'marriage'.

In 2017 the Irish bishops placed abortion after environmental issues in their list of issues to be considered by voters.

Archbishop Eamon Martin, Primate of All Ireland, whose diocese is located in Northern Ireland, issued a statement listing concerns to be weighed by voters before the vote as follows:

  • Employment opportunities and good housing
  • An environmentally sustainable society — renewable energy and reduction of waste
  • Protection of every human life from conception until natural death

In their statement, the bishops singled out the environment and not abortion as the "key consideration" for voters.https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/irish-bishops-list-abortion-after-environmental-issues-for-voters

Archbishop Eamon Martin wants everyone to play their part in keeping themselves safe ...

Now who does that remind you of? It's remarkable to say the least that churchmen in Ireland are singing the same song as our NZ bishops, and kowtowing to the evil diktats of politicians who, not to put too fine a point on it, don't know which way is up. A sodomite prime minister and an unmarried prime minister who both supervise mass murder operations within their fifedoms have no idea of the reality that is God Who keeps us safe and Who will punish those who offend Him so gravely.

Even more will He punish the prelates whose business it is to instruct their people and their nation on the true facts of life.

Catholics of New Zealand, wake up and pray, especially by praying the Mass and especially the Traditional Latin Mass - if you can find one, these so-called bishops - assisted by the so-called pope - having made the TLM it as scarce as hen's teeth by banishing it to funeral parlours and out-of-the-way country churches.

Otherwise Ardern, Little&Co may find it necessary to 'keep us safe' by locking our Lord up and throwing away the key. Or more likely, they'll decide we need a vaccine passport before attending Mass. This horrible idea is foreshadowed in Ireland in the following story:

For those that have already received the vaccine, there's some good news because if you have received the second dose of the vaccine more than two weeks ago, you can meet with other fully vaccinated people from one other household indoors without wearing masks or staying 2 metres apart. ...

"Residents  may be facilitated to receive 2 visits per week on general compassionate grounds. This will be possible following two weeks after full vaccination of approximately 8 out of 10 of all residents and healthcare workers in the nursing home. https://www.irishmirror.ie/news/irish-news/rules-irish-easter-gatherings-visitor-23838493

Ardern, Little&Co, Mass Murderers Inc, may say they will not mandate the vaccine. There is more than one way to skin a cat, people! They can make life as Kiwis know it impossible for those who refuse vaccination.

Bishop of Waterford and Lismore Alphonsus Cullinan, Good Friday. Where are the faithful accompanying him and the Cross?

Father Gerard Quirke's Mass rock at Keem Bay is exposed to the elements so it was touch and go whether he would be able to go ahead with the ceremony as planned.

“When I got there this morning," said Fr Quirke, "the sky was completely clear, it was extraordinary. All I could hear was the little waves rushing up on to the beach. It was so calm and peaceful; it was really magical and transformative.”

He added that on Easter Sunday Catholics celebrate Jesus emerging from his tomb alive. “Roman soldiers covered Jesus’s tomb with a stone; we are experiencing that at the moment, our churches are closed.

"But Christ was not bound by the stone or the tomb. Whenever we pray, whenever we enter into our devotions, Christ is there. He’s not bound by stone and pillars. The stone will be moved away for us too.”

THE N O EFFECT: HOMOSEXUALISING BISHOPS, PUTTING OUR LORD NOWHERE

To comment please open your gmail account, or use my email address, fb or Messenger. Scroll down for other comments.

Pipi in Havelock North, dahling

"So why did they ever change the Mass?"

The question was put to me in an unlikely setting: the ridiculously popular "Pipi" restaurant in Havelock North is frequented by the HB chattering classes, and my friend - who once was employed by Woodford House - didn't want to run into any of them. But our shouted conversation was so absorbing she wouldn't have noticed (and I'd seated her with the beautiful people behind her).

Without the racket and the crowd it doesn't really look like Pipi

"They changed the Mass from Latin to the Novus Ordo to protestantize it," I said. "And they succeeded beyond their wildest dreams."

We'd just attended the Traditional Latin Mass which is celebrated every third Sunday in Napier by the SSPX,  at a funeral parlour because Palmerston North's Bishop Peter Cullinane wouldn't let the SSPX say Mass in a church.

Fr Francois Laisney, who'd come specially from Whanganui for Easter Sunday, had asked the habitués at the previous Mass to "bring a friend". One of the effects of the N O being that there's simply no one in my parish who'd accept such an invitation, I'd asked a Protestant friend  - who laughs when I refer to her as a "Proddy" - instead.

The effects of the Novus Ordo are, of course, multitudinous. But bearing witness to my statement at Pipi is my parish priest's reiteration at a Baptism yesterday morning - and for once, not a Philippino Baptism - of his firm Protestant belief that we're all going to heaven, expressed on this occasion by stating that "we're all temples of God".

No! The Catholic Church teaches that persons in a state of mortal sin are not temples of God. The only notice of the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Lent, at least at St Joseph's Waipukurau if not St Patrick's Waipawa, was Father's throwaway remark on Palm Sunday that he'd be "in the church this afternoon at 4 o'clock for anyone who wants Reconciliation". So as one of the few parishioners likely to attend "forgot all about it", it's reasonable to assume that not everyone in St Joseph's Easter Sunday congregation was a temple of God. God is in such individuals in essence - otherwise they'd cease to exist - but not as Friend.

But Confession is so, well, Catholic. That's why it's gone out of fashion. It's the N O effect.

More Easter Sunday observations come from a reader of this blog from another diocese :

"As everyone filed up to receive Holy Communion, it was impossible for me to avoid admitting that their lives are not distinctly different from that of their heathen neighbours, and that very few of them would have recently been to Confession. Even those who do desire to avail themselves of the Sacrament of Reconciliation are often not able to do so because of the lack of opportunities provided these days.

Probably few would have committed mortal sins. But those few need to be reminded of the warning of St Paul (Cor 1,11:27): “He who eats or drinks the body and blood of the Lord unworthily eats and drinks death to himself”.

Today everyone receives Holy Communion, but no one goes to Confession.

Well you see, you can receive Holy Communion in an Anglican Church. But Anglicans don't go to Confession. So the Novus Ordo was designed, partly, to get rid of Confession. That's the N O effect.

I can’t help but think that Confession has been replaced by a secular sacrament – virtue signalling – whereby the self-righteous have replaced the humble and humbling private confession of one’s own sins with the loud, public condemnation and denunciation of the “sins” (i.e., political incorrectness) of others.

And a most regrettable affirmation of that was the statement by New Zealand’s bishops condemning a tweet by high-profile Australian sportsman Israel Folau. Folau performed a Spiritual Work of Mercy as defined by the Catholic Church when he admonished sinners and exhorted them to repent, and turn away from their sins of fornication, theft, dishonesty, drunkenness, sodomy, adultery, atheism, idolatry.

Not only was Israel well outside the geographical zone of the New Zealand Bishops’ authority, but their statement specifically denounced his warning to sodomites, ignoring all the other sinners Folau named, making their statement extraordinarily revealing, especially given the scandalous homosexual behaviour amongst Catholic prelates. Public statements from NZ's bishops are rare, and there could be no more implicit admission that they are, pretty much to a man, homosexuals who are determined to protect the practice of sodomy within their ranks.

Here it should be pointed out that this reader is privy to inside knowledge, via a friend of his, a well-known self-admitted sodomite, who reckons he knows one when he sees one (or several).

We’ve never had a statement from the bishops exhorting their flock(s) to regularly avail themselves of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. And we’re not likely to get one from this bunch of pretenders, Clayton’s bishops as previously described. Nor have we noticed any efforts to expand opportunities for Catholics to make their Confessions.

No, self-righteous virtue-signalling is what they’d recommend to us.

So, returning to Palmerston North Diocese where there was the curious incident ot the removal of the Blessed Sacrament from the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Holy Thursday (during the day) until Easter Sunday. A reader of this blog (they're everywhere, man!) reports that on going to visit the Blessed Sacrament on Holy Thursday and seeing no light beside the tabernacle, she spoke to cathedral catechist Kate Bell.

"They have taken my Lord away," she said. "Where have they put Him?"

"Nowhere," Bell replied.

My version of the reader's question is poetic licence, recalling the words of St Mary Magdalene on Easter Sunday morning. Actually she'd said, "Where's the Blessed Sacrament?" But there's no poetic licence about Bell's rejoinder. That's exactly what the cathedral catechist said: "Nowhere".

Our reader wouldn't presume to be a "catechist", but she does point out that the cathedral, lacking the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament from Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday, resembled an empty tomb - before Christ had risenBell's explanation was that the Blessed Sacrament had been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes because there was to be no Mass of the Lord's Supper at the cathedral.

And what's that got to do with the price of fish? we may ask. Would normal practice not be for the Blessed Sacrament to be placed with due reverence in the tabernacle in the sacristy? As for Bell's reply of "Nowhere" to the question, "Where's the Blessed Sacrament?", our reader points out that the Presence of Christ's Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity Crucified and Risen is transtemporal. I add that It is also universal. He cannot be "nowhere". He is everywhere.

Another Proddy innovation, at least in Holy Trinity but probably replicated in parishes up and down the country at the behest of our Proddy bishops, was reverencing the Cross on Good Friday with a bow or genuflection. No kissing allowed.

Oh for heaven's sake. Why do bishops and priests put the absurdities of "keeping ourselves safe" (from a fairly normal seasonal 'flu), as commanded by PM Stalinda and her nerdish Dr Bloomfield, ahead of the feelings of Our Lord and Saviour, on the day we commemorate his agonising Death on the Tree of Life for our sake? It's positively sickening.

And another thought: when will our bishops reinstate the holy water fonts? Or will fonts go the same way as, for instance, the purple mourning veils for statues and crucifixes in Passion Week and Holy Week have, in our parish? Bundled into cupboards to gather dust? You see, Proddy churches don't have such things. They're too "Catholic". It's the N O effect.

But above all, we may observe "What the Sexual Revolution has Wrought", as posited on this blog by Paul Collits PhD, of Sydney, Australia.  https://juliadufresne.blogspot.com/2021/03/what-sexual-revolution-has-wrought.html

Or rather, we may reflect on what it was that allowed the wroughtness of the sexual revolution. Yet another reader commented anonymously that "it was Satan who drove it, but who were his willing agents on earth?

"And what was the Church doing during this massive and rapid transition that occurred from 1960 onwards? Strangely Vatican 2 took effect during exactly the same era (the Vatican Council was 1962-1965)."

And, I would add, just how did Vatican 2 take effect? By and through the Novus Ordo, which has succeeded to an extraordinary degree in protestantizing the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, in de-weaponising Her, estranging Her from Christ Her Spouse Who carries His Cross and commands His people to carry it too, and bedding Her with that old whore, the World, to make abortion unmentionable and sodomy into something nice.

So could real Catholics everywhere stand up, or rather, kneel down and pray. Pray especially in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, which the Traditional Latin Mass celebrates today with the Gospel of St Luke's appearance of the risen Lord Jesus Christ to the disciples at Emmaus.

"... They knew Him in the breaking of bread."

LAWYER TELLS PM HER PFIZER VAX CLAIMS ARE MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE

Sue Grey - taking Stalinda to task

"Dear Prime Minister

I write to formally put you on notice of some of the many apparent breaches of New Zealand law (in regard to the Pfizer vaccine - ed) and of deficiencies and misrepresentations which undermine fundamental rights of all New Zealanders to give fully informed consent to any medical procedure.

"The result is considerable risk for the Crown, for the public representatives involved and accordingly for the public of New Zealand.

Nelson lawyer Sue Grey is eminently suited by her profession, by a BSc in biochemistry and microbiology and (we may guess) a large dollop of courage, to act on behalf of thousands of Kiwis whose individual expertise, common sense and/or intuition tells them that in peddling the Pfizer vaccine, Ardern,Little, Bloomfield&Co are trying to sell us a pup. In fact, they lie in their teeth.

She addresses an open letter to the following luminaries:

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern
Ministers of COVID-19 cc Attorney-General David Parker
Director-General of Health Solicitor-General Una Jagose
Chris James – Group Manager Medsafe Health and Disability Commissioner

"Dear Prime Minister, Attorney-General, Director-General of Health and Chris Hipkins

RE PFIZER VACCINE “COMIRNATY” RE BREACHES OF MEDICINES ACT, MISLEADING AND DECEPTIVE CLAIMS and OTHER MATTERS

I represent a large number of New Zealanders who are extremely concerned about apparent legal breaches and misleading and deceptive representations in the provisional approval, promotion, marketing and roll out of the novel Pfizer mRNA and nanogel vaccine known as “Comirnaty” (“the Pfizer injection”).

I write to formally put you on notice of some of the many apparent breaches of New Zealand law and of deficiencies and mis-representations which undermine fundamental rights of all New Zealanders to give fully informed consent to any medical procedure. The result is considerable risk for the Crown, for the public representatives involved and accordingly for the public of New Zealand.

In summary some of the most serious concerns are:
1. “Comirnaty” has only “provisional consent” in New Zealand under s23(1) of the Medicines Act. This means it can lawfully be used only “for treatment of a limited number of patients”.

Section 23(1) states: Section 23 Minister may give provisional consent

(1) “Notwithstanding sections 20 to 22, the Minister may, by notice in the Gazette, in accordance with this section, give his provisional consent to the sale or supply or use of a new medicine where he is of the opinion that it is desirable that the medicine be sold, supplied, or used on a restricted basis for the treatment of a limited number of patients. [emp added]”.

This provisional consent is subject to 58 conditions which are set out in the relevant gazette notice1.

Media releases confirm the securing of “over 10 million doses. That’s enough for all of New Zealand” and the NZ Government advertisement of its rollout plan “for the injection of all New Zealanders” (most of whom are healthy and at no immediate or significant risk from COVID-19).

The proposed scale of use is well outside the scope and purpose of a s23(1) provisional consent. Further it is difficult to imagine how exposing healthy individuals to the risks inherent in any novel medication (and particularly one using novel technology that only recently started safety and efficacy trials) could possibly comply with any responsible risk/benefit assessment.

The public interest in exposing frail and immuno-compromised individuals to an experimental new medicine with only provisional consent is even more questionable, as the safety trials were limited to healthy individuals. Surely a more precautionary approach can be adopted and New Zealanders can be protected in more orthodox ways, (rather than all in effect being guinea pigs in a world wide experiment), especially as there is no imminent threat from COVID-19 in New Zealand and so no urgency.

2. The agenda for the meeting of Medsafe’s Medicines Assessment Advisory Committee on 2 February 2021 states that approval would be sought for provisional consent for Comirnaty as a “prescription only” medicine. Curiously the “prescription only” restriction is omitted from the subsequent gazette notice. It is unclear if this omission is an error or was deliberate.

If the proposed “prescription only” classification was overlooked by Medsafe, the expert advisors and the responsible Ministers in error, please confirm how and when this will be rectified, including what steps will be taken to ensure that in future only health practitioners who are qualified to use prescription only medicines and familiar with Comirnaty, treat patients with this novel vaccine. If this was a deliberate omission, please urgently provide the evidence and assumptions relied on and the reasons why:
a) this novel vaccination with only provisional consent was exempted from usual Medicines Act assessments and classification and
b) why it has fewer restrictions on its use than many other far less novel and more tested vaccines, such as the MMR vaccine and influenza. I note that in the case of the influenza vaccine a documented process was followed before pharmacists with specialised training were authorised to give the influenza vaccine.
Surely this type of delegation away from a medical practitioner is inappropriate in the case of the novel Pfizer vaccine where the New Zealand and international advisory data sheets identify numerous clinical decisions and medical judgment calls for doctors and patients, with limited if any supporting research (2).

3. The NZ government has engaged in a substantial media and publicity campaign involving PR advice, numerous press releases and advertisements in newspapers, TV and on the radio to market “the Pfizer vaccine”. The claims includes representations that the Pfizer vaccine:
a) Is “safe and effective”.
b) “It’s safe. It has been approved by our own Medsafe experts…”
c) “It’s effective”
d) “The more of us who get vaccinated the safer and stronger we will be”
e) “It’s free. The vaccine will be free for everyone in the country…”

4. In fact, there is no reliable evidence that this novel Pfizer vaccine is “safe” or “effective,” at least not in the sense commonly understood by the public. To the public “safe and effective” means it will not cause any significant short or long-term harm to anyone who receives it, and it will prevent infection, symptoms and transmission.

In relation to the claim that it is “free”, while individuals may not be personally charged when they receive a vaccine, it comes at very considerable cost to New Zealand taxpayers, including payments and/or other consideration to Pfizer the details of which have been withheld from the public.

In addition, documentation provided under the Official Information Act confirms that the Minister of Finance approved an ad hoc indemnity for the supplier (Pfizer), under the Public Finance Act, in September 2020 (indicating a lack of confidence by Pfizer in the safety of its own product), to induce Pfizer to supply to New Zealand. Further the public of New Zealand will at least indirectly fund any vaccine injury claims that are accepted by ACC. Individuals who are unable to get ACC cover, will bear their own costs for medical treatment and any loss of income.

Particulars:
a. Medsafe have given only “provisional consent” under s23(1). This is subject to 58 conditions. No information is available for the public or their advisors to assess compliance with these conditions. The advertised timing of rollout in the government’s vaccination rollout plan means that most of these conditions will not be met until after the three of the four groups of adult New Zealanders identified in the plan have already been vaccinated.
b. Even full Medsafe approval does not warrant the “safety or efficacy” of a new medicine.

Section 20(3) of the Medicines Act states:
“No consent given under this section shall be deemed to warrant the safety or efficacy of the medicine to which the consent relates”.
It is accordingly misleading and deceptive for the government to suggest in its advertising that this Pfizer vaccine has Medsafe approval at all, let alone that Medsafe approval can be relied on to show this new vaccine is safe.
c. US clinical (safety) trials will not be completed until 2023;3
d. There have been no animal or human challenge studies for this vaccine despite serious safety problems being identified in animal challenge studies for previous experimental coronavirus vaccines;
e. The US clinical trials test only healthy individuals, whereas the people most at risk from Covid are those who are frail, and have underlying medical conditions or compromised immunity. There have been no independent safety trials on frail or immune suppressed people.
f. The Pfizer Vaccine is not FDA approved. It has only Emergency Use Authorisation in the USA. This is confirmed by the US FDA Data Safety Sheet (4)
g. The Pfizer vaccine has only Emergency Use Authorisation in the EU (5)
h. Pfizer itself clearly is not confident that Comirnaty is “safe and effective” as it required an indemnity from the New Zealand government before it would supply this product to New Zealand.
i. This representation that this experimental vaccine is safe is particularly egregious taking into account that people trust and depend on the government to give factual and balanced information. Extra care is surely required because healthy people who are at no apparent risk from COVID-19 are being asked to accept an experimental barely tested vaccine that uses novel technology.

The data sheet and clinical trials highlight the absence of research to establish safety for people who are already frail, ill or immunosuppressed (who are the very people most at risk if exposed to COVID-19), women who are pregnant, people on medications, people who have recently had other vaccines, and people with allergies.

This representation of safety in the government advertisements is in direct conflict with the key documentation and is contrary to the warnings of many international experts, to the precautionary principle and to the fundamental tenant of medicine of “First Do No harm.”

j. Re effectiveness- (i) Nobody knows how long the Pfizer vaccine will provide protection to those who are injected as no medium to long term research has been done; and (ii) as other government information states (6) “we don’t yet know if it will stop you from catching and passing on the virus.”
k. The claim when we roll up our sleeves we are helping to protect all of us creates the inference that the Pfizer vaccine will prevent the transmission of COVID-19 from one person to another. There is no evidence to support this claim. Even Pfizer itself does not claim that the vaccine prevents the transmission from one person to another. Some experts are concerned that the vaccine will create an additional threat to the community by creating more asymptomatic carriers who may spread a virus they don’t know they have.

l. With past attempts at coronavirus vaccines serious problems emerged with animal challenge studies. With COVID-19 vaccine development there have been no animal challenge studies and human challenge studies are only just commencing (7).
m. The government advice is inconsistent with the best of the available evidence including the clinical trials. It appears that the phrase “Safe and effective” has been chosen as part of a PR “spin” campaign and is being given a meaning that is different from its common meaning, apparently to improve consumer acceptance of a novel and barely tested vaccine.

5. New Zealand law is clear that no medical treatment is mandatory. The government has confirmed this in Official Information responses. Consistent with this, the Health and Disabilities Act and its Code of Patient Care requires that all health and disability services must comply with certain minimum standards of patient care, including providing adequate
information to patients so they can make informed decisions. The principle of “informed consent” is fundamental. This requires information about risks, benefits and uncertainties as well as alternatives, and also that decisions are freely made, without duress. This obligation on health care providers and this fundamental right of all patients who received treatment, is breached if information provided about a treatment is inadequate to identify risks, uncertainties or benefits and particularly if it is misleading or deceptive.

The information on “informed consent” given out at the time of Co-vax is grossly deficient to facilitate informed consent, and is very superficial compared to information provided to recipients in other jurisdictions. Despite warning patients not to take the vaccine if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, the New Zealand patient information uses only the trade name of the active ingredient. This means ingredients included in the active ingredient such as Polyethylene Glycol “PEG” which is known to cause allergies and potentially life threatening anaphylactic shock are not disclosed to prospective recipients.

6. The misleading information and public hype and pressure is inciting breaches of employment contracts. Employees have clear legal rights. They cannot be lawfully required to accept an experimental vaccine with only provisional consent and limited safety or efficacy testing, for a disease that most are highly unlikely to ever be exposed to, and which for healthy people has a very high recovery rate. It is difficult to imagine why any employer would demand this, especially when there is no evidence this vaccine prevents infection or transmission. Despite this, some employers are threatening employees with dismissal or reduced hours if they do not receive this experimental vaccine.

7. Similarly the Health and Safety at Work Act requires employers to identify and manage all risks. This must include the risk of adverse effects from receiving an experimental vaccine, and workplace stress for employees who are pressured to accept a vaccine that they oppose for medical, ethical or other reasons. Despite these clear obligations there are many reports of some employers threatening staff with dismissal or reduced hours if they do not accept the Pfizer vaccine. There will inevitably be health and safety claims against employers who required or encouraged employees to accept this experimental vaccine if they suffer vaccine injury. Claims of this type are already being discussed. In addition to the obvious human rights and employment breaches, this type of conduct is irrational in the absence of evidence that this vaccine prevents transmission.

8. There is significant risk of consequential harm due to reliance on misleading and unjustified assurances that the vaccine is approved by Medsafe and is safe and effective. Another example of this is the threat to the integrity of our bloodbank. This website at www.nzblood.co.nz states that no standdown is required for the Pfizer BioNTec vaccine as it is “approved by Medsafe”. In fact it has only provisional consent for treatment of a limited number of patients. Clearly the consequences could be wide-ranging if our national blood supply becomes contaminated by novel mRNA.

9. The matters identified include apparently serious breaches of the Medicines Act, Fair Trading Act, the NZ Bill of Rights Act and public law principles of decision making. There are also apparent breaches of the fiduciary duties owed by our elected representatives to the public of New Zealand. The cumulative effect of the many breaches significantly reduces the level of protection for patients that was intended by the hierarchy and statutory scheme of Medicines Act. These risks to individuals and the community could have been avoided if the law, best practice well-established procedures for assessing medicines, and common sense had prevailed over hype.

10. The result is a serious threat to the rule of law, fundamental human rights of New Zealanders, public health and wellbeing and trust in government. There is also potentially very significant economic risk, especially if any of the warnings of international experts about this experimental vaccine triggering auto-immune or other adverse reactions are correct or if it facilitates the spread of COVID-19 by creating asymptomatic carriers.

11. My clients and the public of New Zealand expect and require an urgent response. This will likely need to include:

a) an agreement the Crown will immediately suspend the vaccine rollout until the outstanding legal issues are addressed, and the law and statutory scheme for new medicines with provisional consent can be fully complied with. This means that Comirnaty should be treated as a prescription only medicine that can be used only to treat a limited number of patients;
b) an immediate end to the current misleading advertisements and corrective advertising to address misleading and deceptive claims that have already been made, and to facilitate fully informed consent for any future patients who might be offered Comirnaty; and
c) promotion of more orthodox ways the public can enhance their immunity and protect themselves against COVID-19 to promote individual empowerment. This will help people become more resilient and move on from this current climate of fear, propaganda and uncertainty, and start to reclaim individual sovereignty and optimism about the reinstatement of once well-established New Zealand freedoms, lifestyle and culture.

12. I would be very happy to discuss possible ways forward with you in a personal meeting, or by phone or email. In the first instance please email to acknowledge receipt and confirm your intentions.

13. If we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, at least in principle, by 5 pm Tuesday 5th April, my clients have instructed me to file urgent proceedings seeking appropriate interim and final declarations and orders. We will then need to discuss a timeframe to facilitate these important questions being put before the court as a matter of urgency.

Thank you for your prompt action and attention.

WHAT BERGOGLIO SAYS ABOUT SODOMY IS NOT WHAT HE THINKS

'Pope Francis' celebrates 'Holy Thursday Chrism Mass', March 30. Qué?

"The 'truth-idol' imitates," said Jorge Bergoglio on Tuesday - at what a Vatican source called "a Holy Thursday Chrism Mass" - "it dresses itself up in the words of the Gospel, but does not let those words touch the heart.

"Much worse, it distances ordinary people from the healing closeness of the word and of the sacraments of Jesus."

Just what is going on here? What's going on is Bergoglio's ramp-up of his argument, put so clearly as to defy denial in his puff piece Francesco, for a sea-change in Church doctrine on the inadmissability of sodomites to Holy Communion - in spite of a recent statement of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) saying NO to blessing same-sex unions. *

You'd have to suspect that this CDF statement was just window-dressing, done by Bergoglio's stooge, Cardinal Luis Ladaria Ferrer SJ, who replaced the good Cardinal Gerhard Müller - to ensure, to quote the Jesuits' own 'America Magazine' that the CDF is "rowing with rather than against" the 'pope'. (Isn't that what I just said?)

Cardinal Luis Francisco Ladaria Ferrer. What would you make of this man?

And this was the Pope's homily at St Peter's Basilica at the Chrism Mass, where prelates and priests reaffirm their promises to commit to being faithful stewards of the Gospel and servants of their people. What an egregious insult to Our Lord in the Blessed Eucharist, which He Himself instituted at the Last Supper.

"The pontiff told the assembled ministers that practicing closeness to his people is one of a priest's main obligations ... having proximity to those entrusted to them is the key to both mercy and truth.

Fine. We assume that would apply also to bishops - whose appointment is a pope's first responsibility. Palmerston North Diocese has had no bishop to practise closeness to his people for over a year now. Could Bergoglio please get on with what's supposed to be his job rather than consorting with sodomites?

Best mates: Bergoglio and Francesco director Evgeny Afineevsky, a self confessed sodomite

"Holy Thursday recalls Jesus' last supper (sic) before his crucifixion (sic) and is also considered by the church (sic) to mark his creation of the priesthood - at that supper, he offered himself to his disciples, likening his body to bread to be eaten and his blood to wine to be drunk."

Stop right there. " 'Likening' His Body 'to bread'' and His Blood 'to wine'? Even we the laity of  Palmerston North Diocese in far away Down Under know that it's not a matter of 'likening', but of His actual Body and Blood that we eat and drink.

It's truly galling to be handed this hogwash (to borrow a reader's description of Francesco), especially in Holy Week, by the man the world calls the pope, quoted by National Catholic Reporter.

Is it surprising then, that in Down Under in PN Diocese at our very own Chrism Mass on Monday, in his homily Cardinal Call Me John Dew made no mention as far as I can recall of the Passion and Death of our Saviour? That he described Holy Orders as making priests "different, not better"? A reader of this blog who attended remarked:

"In a sentence Cardinal Dew flattened the entire hierarchy of the Catholic Church and made obsolete the magnitude of Our Lord’s Last Supper.   Having done that, what point could the good Cardinal have left for a homily on the Passion?  He’d already deconstructed so much!"

Yet another reader (one in the best possible position to comment) was appalled by the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. To one who hears heresy preached almost weekly it didn't seem so very bad. I told him he leads a sheltered life - and he admitted it.

The good old catechism (I wish it were the Baltimore Catechism but it isn't to hand) says:

"Through (Holy Orders) priests by the anointing of the Holy Spirit are signed with a special character and so are configured to Christ the priest in such a way that they are able to act in the person of Christ the head....by reason of their sacerdotal dignity ... after the image of Christ, the supreme and eternal priest, they are consecrated in order to preach the Gospel and shepherd the faithful as well as to celebrate divine worship as true priests of the New Testament."

If priests are consecrated to preach and shepherd the laity, does that not clearly imply that the former certainly should be better than the latter? But to settle the question once and for all we turn to the pre-eminent Fr. Regional Garrigou-LaGrange, O.P.:

Fr Garrigou-LaGrange: compare his phiz with Cardinal Ladaria's

"Priestly Ordination imprints on the soul an indelible character and confers a special Sacramental grace. [Den. 964, 959] We must pause a moment to consider the sublime purpose of this character and Sacramental grace. The character is an intimate and permanent possession of the soul which enables a man to perform the actions of a priest validly; so it is commonly understood as the active power of Holy Orders to Consecrate the Eucharist validly and to absolve the faithful validly from sins committed since Baptism. [Cf. Council of Trent, Den. 960.]

The grace is given that the priest may perform the duties of his state not merely validly but also holily, and that this spirit of holiness develop in unison with his growth in grace and charity demanded by the supreme commandment [Cf. Den. 960]

The reason is obvious. God never confers a power on any man without, at the same time, giving him the necessary means for the worthy exercise of that power. And the prayers in the Pontifical make it evident that this is the purpose of the Sacramental grace of Holy Orders. Hence it follows that this grace is an even more precious effect than the character of the Sacrament.

Taking all these definitions and assertions together, it is clear that the Catholic Church regards our priesthood as invested with a noble dignity.

So much for Cardinal Dew's assertion that priests are "different, not better". At last Friday's hearing of the Commission of Enquiry into abuse in care, the cardinal's dismal appearance in shirt and tie, for all the world like a clerk, would seem tailored to fit the general tenor of his remarks, which was to reduce the priesthood to a similar clerk-like status. It's all so 'umble, don't y' know.

Which reminds me of my parish priest's remarks at our Chrism Mass this evening, that the priesthood is all about 'service'. Much was made of foot-washing and nothing at all of the sublime vocation of the priest in literally calling down God Himself onto our altars.

If this post sounds all doom and gloom, we may as well go the whole hog and hand the floor over to one Fr D Dariusz Oko.Fr Oko is a Polish priest who's just published Lavender Mafia: With the Popes and Bishops against the Homoclique in the Church.” The book, as yet unavailable in English, is a bestseller in Poland.

“Things have gone so far that this truth cannot be kept a secret.”

“Experts in the field know well that an essential ‘prerequisite’ to becoming a bishop is … belonging to the ‘clan,’ having homosexual tendencies or, at least, guaranteeing that one will not impair the rights of the Church homosexuals,” Oko writes. “These are unwritten yet necessary conditions that a candidate must fulfill …”
The priest believes that the prestigious Vatican diplomatic service has the worst reputation for men living a double-life: “It is due to the fact that staying in apostolic nunciatures in various countries makes hiding one’s unrestrained homosexual life quite easy,” he writes.

The priest-professor believes that even the appointment of new bishops has begun to “lie in the hands of people who act against the basic teaching of the Church, her anthropological and moral norms.” This leads to corruption from the top down."

*A group of Austrian priests have made it clear that they will not obey (the CDF ruling against same-sex blessings), and many German priests have said the same thing, while an important Belgian bishop, Johan Bonny, has said that he is ashamed of the Church because of this sort of document, and he has apologized to all homosexual couples as well as to their parents and grandparents.

Does this look to you like the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church?

And here in New Zealand and the Pacific, the Marists are furiously "rowing with the pope" and the CDF. Their sordid little Cathnews publication simply reeks of sodomy. Three stories on that subject in their latest and - in the interests of balance, perhaps - two on heterosexual encounters. Cold showers are indicated.

From the Epistle for the Mass of the Last Supper, 1962 Missal (bear in mind that "No one sins more grievously than the priest that offers Sacrifice unworthily. Those that unworthily offer Jesus Christ in Heaven sin more grievously than the Jews who crucified Him when He was upon earth” - St Peter Damian.

St. John Chrysostom teaches that a priest that approaches the Altar with a soul stained with mortal sin is far worse than a devil.

"Therefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the Body and of the Blood of the Lord"

- Epistle, Mass of the Last Supper (1962 Missal).
