Sisters of sin

Let's return to the LA Dodgers who grovelled to the blasphemous, Sad and Sorry Sisters (aka Ugly Blisters) of Perpetual Indulgence. They invited them to their 'Pride Night', disinvited them after Catholics' objections, then after shrieks from the Sisters' supporters the Dodgers apologised and reinvited them.

That night, the Dodgers lost. The next day, they suffered their worst at-home loss in 125 years… 15-0. Deo gratias.

Outside that stadium, just one Catholic bishop stood with the 5000 who rallied to protest the horrible blasphemies of the 'Sisters' (drag queens). He was Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas. And guess who the Vatican have sent their heavies after? Not the heretical bishops. Not the LGBTQ bishops. Not the cardinals who want 'trans' children mutilated. No, it's brave Bishop Strickland who's subjected to an "apostolic visitation".

“It was not even primarily about his ‘rants’ about Pope Francis,”said an anonymous priest in +Strickland's diocese. Oh no of course not. Visitations are dreaded by Church prelates and institutions and although 'governance issues' are the cover for the Vatican's investigation - one hesitates to say interference - in reality this is exactly about +Strickland's use of social media to criticise Jorge Mario Bergoglio.

The Vatican heavies come for +Strickland

DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - According to Church Militant sources, the bishop of Tyler, Texas, Joseph Strickland, is currently undergoing an "apostolic visitation" from the Vatican's Dicastery for Bishops.

The immediate focus of the examination is unknown at this time, but the increasingly outspoken prelate, dubbed "America's bishop," has certainly irritated high-ranking members of the hierarchy by defending the Deposit of Faith and condemning the more heterodox opinions of various other prelates.

He was the only US bishop to attend the June 16 protest against the Los Angeles Dodgers for the team's support of the blasphemous Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. It created something of an embarrassment for L.A. Abp. Jose Gómez and his auxiliary bishops.

Strickland has stepped up his social media postings over the past year, going after increasingly confusing comments and holding accountable multiple members of the worldwide hierarchy.

While not confirmed, there is widespread speculation in certain circles that Rome is now striking back.

Archbishop Robert Francis Prevost, the recently appointed prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops, ordered Strickland's visitation, and it is being carried out by two retired U.S. bishops acting on behalf of the dicastery's directive.

The two bishops, sources report, are the rather notorious Bishop Gerald Frederick Kicanus and auxiliary Bishop Dennis Joseph Sullivan. According to those on the ground, the pair were in Tyler for a full week questioning multiple employees of the diocese.

Church Militant reached out to Bp. Strickland for any comment but have received no reply.

According to sources in Rome, some Vatican and U.S. bishops don't like Strickland's repeated public defense of Church teachings and some in Rome are labeling his speech and social media postings as "imprudent."

It is unclear whether the visitation is a warning to the 63-year-old bishop or a prelude to his removal. What appears to be clear is that, whatever the official reason, it is most likely a pretext to silence Strickland's comments, according to Church Militant sources.

Church Militant broke this developing story, and we will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, while the Vatican investigates the orthodox, faithful Bishop Strickland. its Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin glibly and rather ridiculously maintains, in the face of all the evidence and contrary to common sense, that "homosexual orientation cannot be considered as either cause or aspect typical of the abuser, even more so when it is decoupled from the general arrangement of the person.”

While two - to put it nicely - 'pro-LGBTQ' cardinals are attempting to stall a formal revision to the U.S. bishop’s directives to Catholic hospitals and healthcare institutions that would ban “transgender” mutilation of the human body and chemical castration through puberty blockers and hormone infusions.

Now to help get the bad taste of these prelates out of your mouth, and to rub the Dodgers noses in their defeat:

It was historic. It was a triumph of good over evil. The LA Dodgers and those backing them refused to back down from honoring the “Sisters” of Perpetual Indulgence, a group that openly mocks nuns and God with horrific sexual imagery of Our Lord and His Blessed Mother.

Catholics for Catholics didn’t sit back. We rallied with other groups, Lifesite, Catholic Vote, Virgin Most Powerful Radio, and America Needs Fatima, to show tremendous UNITY as we stood together against those who defile Holy Mother Church.

Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, heroically joined us on the streets. Here is what he had to say in an exclusive interview given to Catholics for Catholics just hours before the event. He told me:

I'll be there because Catholics do need to speak up. We need to speak the truth. The truth of our faith is beautiful. It's a glorious message for 2,000 years, and we cannot be shy about it. We cannot be less than on fire with it because our faith is the truth for humanity. And I think we've kind of lost that edge in recent years, and we need to have the faith, as I say so often, we need to be first-century Christians in the 21st century.

So what did the first-century Christians do? They brought the message of the risen Lord Jesus Christ to the world. The message is out there, but too many people are not paying attention to it. And this procession at Dodger Stadium is just one more episode. Our actions are not about attacking anyone or being against anything. We are in the streets of LA for the truth of Jesus Christ. And just joyfully, vigorously sharing that truth and helping people to wake up to this is truth for every person.”

The event was an “out-of-the-park-homerun.” Here’s the official RALLY TALLY:
   - Number of people expected at the rally? 500. How many showed? 5,000!
   - The “Sisters” were meant to be honored DURING the game. They were hustled into pre-game warm-ups to minimize their public appearance. Even the few fans there at the time gave them heartfelt BOOs.
   - Dodger Stadium holds 56,000 seats. Games against their archrivals, the Giants, are always sold out. Only 41,000 people, however, attended the ballgame that night.
-15,000 people came up with a better thing to do than watch this blasphemy.

The icing on the cake?

The Dodgers lost that night. And the next day, they suffered their worst at-home loss in 125 years… losing 15-0.
😉

Catholics for Catholics would like to thank all those who showed up to the rally as well as the literally thousands of people who prayed from all over the world for the success of the event. We had tremendous media coverage, which hit international news. Even the secular press intuitively understood that something was different here.

A new Catholic American moment is rising in this Country. Watch below, and you’ll understand what I mean.

  1. Bishop Strickland is too strongly Catholic, he is in grave danger of being fired. That happened to Bishop Torres of Puerto Rico a couple of years ago, he was fired by Pope Francis for refusing to go along with the modernist agenda of his fellow bishops (especially over Covid vaccinations). As mentioned by someone earlier, Bishop Meeking of Christchurch was driven into the dirt for being too orthodox.

It's going to get much worse, the recently released lead document for the upcoming Synod session in Rome puts every part of the modernist agenda up for adoption. After they have silenced or bowled Bishop Strickland few bishops will dare to object.

But the laity can speak out, we are harder to fire.
