No we should not be at all surprised. Because abortion (murder) is the first of the four sins that "cry out to God for vengeance"; the second is sodomy. And monkey pox ("the skin will harbor another disease") has been prophesied in Revelaciones Marianas:

We seem to have strayed a fair distance from our stressed parish priest.
