Someone commented on this on Facebook. She said she was brought up to believe God is love and sexuality is a gift, so she has to disagree with me on this.
I replied:
The God who
is Love wants only the best for us, and that’s eternal life and joy. We achieve that by living this life in accord with God’s word, which is very clear on
homosexuality (Rom 1:24-32, for example).
Our sexuality
like everything else is a gift from God. How does God feel when people abuse his
gift?
“Having known the justice of God (they) did not understand that they who do such things are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them"(Rom
1:32).
