The universal principle of justice, says Stephen Hawking (Where is our
sense of collective justice for Syria?), may not be rooted in physics. He's right:
justice is rooted in God. That’s why it’s both universal and fundamental. And
the reason why we ‘watch on as 100,000 are killed or whilst children are being
targeted’ is, as Alexander Solzhenitsyn said, ‘we have forgotten God’.
