HOLY FACE REPARATION FOR MASONS, MARXISTS

Freemasons praised Fratelli Tutti 's call for a 'Universal Brotherhood'

The sight today of a small country town stopped in its busy tracks for Good Friday, except for  hospo to travellers, was strangely comforting. A reminder of New Zealand's historic Christian faith, and of Veronica on that dusty, clamorous, crowded road to Calvary offering to dry Christ's blood, sweat and tears.

She was rewarded for bravely pushing through the hostile throng and Roman cavalry by a miraculous imprint on her cloth of His Holy Face. That image Christ offered back to Catholics beset by Communism and Freemasonry in the 19th century as a means of reparation to God for the blasphemies of those ideologies - reparation far more necessary now, in the 3rd millennium.

The spirit of both - and of the usurper Francis - is alive and well in the Diocese of Palmerston North, where it's taken for granted that Catholics may be Masons and vote Labour to boot (even after the Marxist excesses of the Ardern regime). But he who sups with the devil needs a long spoon, and demons can be kept at bay by devotion to the Holy Face and adoring the Godhead in the Mass of Ages.

Communing with 'the communidy' in the Novus Ordo today, a reader of this blog could only weep with Christ over the loss of the Properia, His reproaches to the Jewish people for rewarding all His interventions on their behalf with the frightful cry of "Crucify Him! If faithless, apostate Catholics and clergy were still praying the Properia they would surely not be crucifying Christ again - as they are.

The Holy Face image

Writing for Crisis Magazine, international child advocate Elizabeth Yore is also an advocate for Devotion to the Holy Face:

The Vatican hosted a Marxist-Christian dialogue in January this year. Pope Francis freely encouraged the tête-à-tête while, moreover, conspicuously neglecting to mention Christ, Christianity, or the fact that the Catholic Church has a long history of decided condemnation of Marxist Communism.

Similar disconcerting dealings include Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio’s presiding over a Masonic conference in February in which he renewed requests for a “permanent dialogue” with Freemasonry.

“Dialogue” is an important theme to Masons, as expressed by the Grand Master Gustavo Raffi upon Francis’ election: he celebrated the hope for “a Church of the people [which] may…dialogue with…Freemasonry…. This is the ‘white smoke’ that [Masons] are waiting for from the Church of our time.” Yet, like Communism, membership in Freemasonry remains forbidden due to irreconcilable differences with Church doctrine.

Papal condemnation of Marxism and Freemasonry, in fact, goes back to just after the founding of these movements, the mid-nineteenth and mid-eighteenth centuries, respectively. Membership in either is strictly forbidden by Mother Church, disallowing the reception of Holy Communion for affiliates (and full excommunication by some Church councils).

Collaboration with Communists was warned against as recently as Pope Benedict XVI’s Deus Caritas Est, even on the level of charitable activity, in that Catholic charity must be centrally such rather than effectively supportive of other ideologies. And paradoxically, just late last year, the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith reaffirmed the Church’s ban on Catholics joining Freemasonry.

In other words, one (still) may not deal with the Devil, nor ally with the Antichrist. Christ Himself warned of secret societies and called out Communists by name—notably, just prior to the publication of Marx and Engels’ Communist Manifesto—in approved private revelations occurring in mid-nineteenth century France, when and where their insidious machinations in large part debuted. These associations are definitively described by Our Lord as the “enemies of the Church and her Christ.”

According to the revelations, these movements are both an extreme offense to God and an allowed, merciful chastisement by Heaven, taking the form of “the malice of revolutionary men.”

As with the ancient Israelites, God is permitting modern man to experience the natural consequences of embracing anti-God ideologies, breeding what He describes as “deep-rooted impiety and absolute incredulity.” Doubting or denying the immutable laws and truth of God, man seeks to replace them with his own contriving, desiring to make himself “like unto God.”

Psalm 81 describes the similar waywardness and punishment of the Israelites: “Thou [shall not] adore a strange god…. But my people heard not my voice…. So, I let them go according to the desires of their heart: they shall walk in their own inventions….” Yet today’s idolatrous “desires of the heart” surpass those of the Israelites; for in the revelations, Christ describes current times as “never having been exceeded in iniquity.” The Israelites fell into these sins due to weakness, but the “inventions” of the Marxists and Masons are anti-God, anti-Church, in principle, from their very inception.

Theirs is an overt stamping upon the rights of God as outlined in the first three commandments. Marx is famously quoted as saying that “Communism begins at the outset with atheism.” Lenin stated, “Communism abolishes eternal truths, all religion, and morality.” And during the recent Vatican-Masonic dialogue, Stefano Bisi, Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy, specified that Freemasons need only believe in the “Great Architect of the Universe,” such that “absolute truths and walls…must be torn down.”

Venerable Fulton Sheen aptly warned of a (resulting) “religion without the Cross, a liturgy without a world to come, a religion to destroy a religion, or a politics which is a religion—one that renders unto Caesar even the things that are God’s.” Grand Master Raffi apparently celebrates such a vision, stating, “Fraternity and dialogue are [Francis’] first concrete words: maybe in the new Church nothing will ever be like before.”

The Israelites knew that reparation was necessary to “turn God’s face back” to them, so to speak; to embrace God’s blessing and religion once again. And the remedy is the same today, as outlined in the revelations to initiate the Holy Face Devotion. Therein, Christ reveals no less than the greatest devotion to make reparation for the greatest crimes—those that are not “just” un-Christian but anti-Church.

Christ urgently commends the faithful, via reparation for these crimes, to make spiritual war on the enemies of the Church who plot to destroy Christian civilization by way of instilling heresy and apostasy.

Various popes evidenced their concern of this threat: Leo XIII,  by composing the St. Michael prayer, as well as approving the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face immediately for the entire world within the year after his vison in which Satan challenged Christ that he could destroy His Church; Pius X, by warning of modernists who plotted to ruin the Church from within; and Paul VI, by stating that the “smoke of Satan had entered the Church,” likely referring to the anti-Communism documents of Vatican II not having been published and perhaps, additionally, the infiltration of Freemasonry.

Christ revealed His Face as both the Face of God and the Face of the Church, or its doctrine, its injuries being renewed by current heretical blasphemies, its defacing barring recognition.

Reparation to the Holy Face is a means to draw men, all men, back to proper love of and reverence for Our Lord. In the Holy Face Devotion, devotees are called to make reparation for themselves but especially for their fellow brethren to console and adore the Godhead itself (versus aspects of Christ’s sacred humanity). There is the understanding that all that may be done on a human level is useless without first making the requisite reparation. Mankind is facing a spiritual battle, such that the remedy is spiritual armament, though for the purpose of the conversion, not death, of the enemy.

The infiltration of Marxist and Masonic ideologies upon every facet of modern life—manifest as an inversion of God’s truth and morality in societal norms, education, government, and religion—has produced crimes against the rights of God so heinous as to require the merits and love of Christ Himself, residing in His wounded Countenance, to be offered to the Father by mankind in reparation. Man has realized a categorical difference in sin, such that his own merits and love are not sufficient; he must rely instead on the power of God as present in the wounded Face of Christ. This reparation becomes, therefore, an offering of God to God, mirroring the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, of which the devotion is an extension.

Reparation to the Holy Face of Christ is consolation for God and mercy for man. It encompasses the great, two-part commandment: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. [And] thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” (Mark 12:37-39).

Like Veronica, who, for her merciful gesture of braving the soldiers to soothe Christ’s wounded Face, was rewarded by the imprint of His Countenance upon her veil, devotees’ acts of consolation to Christ’s Face, wounded anew by current blasphemies, are recompensed by Christ impressing His likeness upon their souls.

Though these acts of the heart are designed to be selfless love of God and a means to draw mercy for the masses, great blessings are reserved for the devotees as well. Christ bestows the offering of His Face to the Father and the return flow of mercy, through Our Lady, as “the greatest source of grace second to the sacraments” and “the most beautiful work under the sun.”

Soeur Marie de Saint Pierre

Further revealing its significance in the spiritual unfolding of things, Our Lord forewarned that Satan would do everything in his power to stamp out the Work of Reparation, likely the reason that most readers may not have heard of the Holy Face devotion nor the young French Carmelite who was asked by Christ to initiate it, Sister Marie de Saint Pierre.

Christ also disclosed that Satan abandons to his subordinates the charge of other classifications of sinners, but he keeps those of blasphemy to himself: “his flock of predilection.” Man, therefore, via the devotion, is to become, according to Christ, “a terror to hell.”

Let us then rise to the challenge!

An in-depth analysis of the Holy Face Devotion, its modern relevance, and its spirituality (complementary to that of St. Therese of Lisieux and the Carmelite mystical tradition) is written about in a new Sophia Institute publication, Unveiling the Sixth Station of the Cross: Reparation to the Holy Face, Mother of All Devotionsby Mary Jane Zuzolo, great-great-great niece of Sister Marie de Saint Pierre, the French Carmelite who received messages from Christ to initiate the Work of Reparation.

FAKE BISHOP SUCCEEDS, REAL CATHOLIC ONES FAIL

To comment please open your gmail account or use my email address, FB Messenger or X (Twitter).

Cancelled thanks to 'Bishop' Brian Tamaki

'Bishop' Brian Tamaki and his Destiny Church have forced the Hastings Public Library to cancel today's depraved drag queens' Rainbow Storytime. Thank God for Brian Tamaki. Because the real bishops of the Catholic Church do nothing to prevent this evil.

Today, Spy Wednesday of Holy Week commemorates Judas Iscariot taking 30 pieces of silver and seeking his opportunity to betray Our Lord into the hands of the chief priests. Are NZ's Catholic Bishops not now betraying Christ by their silence, as He is crucified once more by the demonic perversion of men who groom small children for their sexual gratification? While God's rainbow, the sign of His covenant with mankind, is suborned by these deviants, the bishops stay silent .(In fact their 'Aroha and Diversity in Catholic Schools' positively encourages this evil ideology.)

But Emeritus Bishop Peter Cullinane of Palmerston North has plenty to say in Cathnews, about "small family arguments". Presumably that's a coy reference to the outrage expressed in the Church over Fiducia Supplicans, which bestows blessings for "couples of the same sex". Right there is the reason for Satan's success in deploying the mad delusion of LGBTQ+ ideology: its implicit support by the usurper pope and his deviant hierarchy.

+Cullinane is still gunning for the Latin Mass. Hidden under all his persiflage is his hatred of the Latin Mass, the Mass of Ages which puts glory to God before massaging the egos of His people. The bishop hearkens back wistfully to the French Revolution which "pushed back" against "bishops being princes and lords" with the catch-cry of liberty, equality and fraternity inspired by the Freemasons - with whom +Cullinane's views seem closely affiliated.

He reckons that "others have partially removed themselves from in-house discussion by opting for a “spirituality” more or less independent of the Church". Translated, that means faithful, traditional Catholics who uphold the millennia-long doctrine of the Catholic Church - especially in regard to sodomy - don't have the same right to be heard as Novus Ordo-ites. His "small family arguments", he says - such as blessing sodomites - "should not be given more time than we give to reaching out to people in need and working to transform society."

But that Gospel mission's success depends only on preaching the Gospel, and its failure is due simply to not doing that. The principal driver for its post-conciliar, chronic failure is its synthetic Mass, the Novus Ordo, which in and of itself teaches worship not of God, but of man.

Bishop Cullinane's cognitive dissonance in regard to this unpalatable truth is not unlike the refusal of the jabbed to recognise its effects - the v^x injured and 'died suddenlys'. Modernist churchmen with their emptied pews, amalgamated parishes and vanished vocations have, like the v^ccinated,  painted themselves into a corner from which their pride and embarrassment will not release them.

Ils ne voulient que notre bien - satire on the greed of the French clergy and their reluctance to give up their land for the Republic

  • +Cullinane's diatribe in that demoralised rag, Cathnews, against Catholics who defend the Church doctrine believed and taught until Vatican II, states that "the priest had his back to the congregation". The reality is that the priest was facing God, as they always did - until the Second Vatican Council. In Novus Ordo churches where the tabernacle has not been unceremoniously swept aside by the modernists, the priest now has his back to God. The mistake betrays a diminution, if not the total loss, of faith. God is in that tabernacle to be worshipped, not banished to the peripheries for the convenience of 'the communidy' who, his Excellency says, want a quiet place for their private prayer.

Fiddlesticks. THE CHURCH SHOULD BE A QUIET PLACE! Little St Jacinta Marto had occasion to tell a reverend mother that Our Lady had revealed to her that God is deeply offended by talking in church. "The people," Cullinane continues, "had no way of knowing where he was up to".  Nonsense. They followed the priest with missals giving the Latin and the vernacular. At traditional Latin Masses like St Anthony's SSPX Whanganui, with their parents' help even the many, many children follow their missal.

  • "Forgoing such options" (as bishops wearing mitres) says +Cullinane piously, "occurs naturally to those who think of the congregation’s needs more than their own prerogatives"
  • "What counts is not what our signs means to ourselves, but what they mean to those we want to communicate with
  • "(M)inistry is not helped by regalia, customs or titles that symbolise power – the remnants of Christendom"
  • "(H)ow we come across is meant to be for the benefit of others"
  • "It’s the mission that doesn’t change". Oh but it has! It's changed from preaching the Gospel to preaching synodality (Francis), married priests (Fr Thomas Reece), 'gay' marriage (Father James Martin) global warming (Francis), the 'rights' of women (Francis).

What about the prerogatives of Almighty God? Is the Mass not primarily about communicating with God? It's not 'ministry' that the liturgy should assist, primarily it's God, Whose will it is that His creatures assist in the economy of salvation of souls. Primarily, the liturgy is for the glory of God and only secondarily (as the First Commandment comes before the Second) for 'others'.

"Within this (Catholic) culture, the desire to belong is mysteriously stronger than anything that offends." Don't we know it! The mob mentality has been inculcated in the Church in the same way Prime Minister Ardern lured this nation into her 'team of 5 million' by means of all the strategies listed above. With the blasphemies and sacrilege of this pontificate, the only mystery is the continued presence in N O pews of any true Catholics at all.

+Cullinane mendaciously asserts that "a General Council of the Church mandated a revision of the Missal, and every Pope since has emphasised that continued use of the unrevised Missal is a special concession for specific pastoral needs. ... What matters here is not just the difference between two Missals; it is our Catholic practice of accepting the mandate of a General Council, and its endorsement by all subsequent Popes."

The facts of the matter are that John Paul II's commission of nine cardinals determined that (1) the TLM had never been juridically suppressed or abrogated and (2) that bishops cannot forbid or restrict a priest concerning the celebration of the traditional rite of Mass, whether in public or in private.

(N)either Paul VI nor the Council had abrogated the TLM. Indeed, the historical record shows that in the late ’60s, Paul VI and even Father Annibale Bugnini went on record to say that the TLM was to be kept and encouraged. https://onepeterfive.com/not-authorized-death-mass/

As Michael Matt of the Remnant says today, " If you take traditional moral teaching out of the Catholic Church you will have chaos.

"We must keep the faith until God intervenes. Every Catholic in the world today is called upon to resist. resist the globalists (the most important globalist by far being the usurper pope Francis) to their faces."

'Mourners' at St Patrick's Cathedral New York

Michael Matt points to American footballer Harison Butker as a Catholic who is standing up against evil, specifically the evil of the transgender prostitute's funeral at St Patrick's Cathedral, New York. He's just won the Super Bowl, he has good looks, money - everything to lose.

(In an interview for EWTN) Butker said he was very upset about the “transgender funeral” because “there’s all of these things being said when you watch the funeral that are making fun of the Catholic faith, that are making fun of our Lord.”

“This is not acceptable,” he stressed. “I was waiting on someone to come out and say that this is outrageous. This is an abomination. This should have never happened.”

“And nothing came. So, I actually went on His Eminence’s [Cardinal Dolan’s] show last year. And they had asked for me to go on the show this year.”

“And I sent a letter saying, ‘I would love to go on the show, but I can’t unless something is addressed with what happened at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.’”https://www.complicitclergy.com/2024/03/19/harrison-butker-calls-out-cardinal-dolan-on-transgender-funeral-someone-should-be-fired/

NFL kicker, Super Bowl winner and Defender of the Faith Harison Butker is a Latin Mass Catholic.

CHILD ABUSERS MIGHT BE BEST KEPT IN SEACLIFFS

To comment please open your gmail account or use my FB page, Messenger or X (Twitter).

These days Seacliff would be a resort for celebs and movie moguls

40+years ago, the person/s who inflicted "horrific injuries" on those children in Wellington might have been safely confined, away from potential victims in a mental institution. Like Lake Alice for example - or Seacliff, notorious in the public mind for nearly lobotomising the celebrated Janet Frame.

The word asylum comes to mind. It means literally a place of safety, a refuge for sufferers from diseases like schizophrenia, which  is incurable. These people can be capable of inflicting "horrific injuries" and their families live in dread of them doing so. Or a schizoid might himself be so afraid of that, he (or she) might commit suicide.

But there are no Seacliffs or Lake Alices any more. They were too expensive. Cheaper to get 'the community' to care for them - the very same community which knows small children are being tortured in their homes and does nothing to stop it. "Family harm is a challenge across the motu," say the police. Perhaps they employ Te Reo in the hope that Maori will get the message.

Many are the drivers for 'family harm'. But 40% of those presenting with first-episode psychosis are Maori, and mental illness affects 20% of (mostly Maori) Kiwis in prison. Retired mental health nurse Andy Espersen, a rare survivor of the old mental asylums, pleads for some old-fashioned charity - institutional care for schizophrenia sufferers who can never be cured. And for economy - it's cheaper than putting them in prison.

40 years ago New Zealand had a nationwide, coherent system of psychiatric hospitals – 8,000 psychiatric in-patient beds – each hospital fully staffed with psychiatrists, specialist psychiatric general practitioners, psychologists, trained psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, etc.

Then, according to The Encyclopedia of New Zealand: “In response to a mix of ideological and fiscal imperatives, almost all psychiatric hospitals were run down, closed, repurposed or sold off by the 1990s.

Prior to that, every mentally ill person had the legal right to be admitted into these hospitals immediately, day or night. Moreover, the hospitals were also residential. Patients had the right to remain in hospital for the rest of their lives, should they so desire. They could not be discharged against their wishes.

Does this look like such a terrible place to be?

I am a retired mental health nurse and one of the very few surviving staff from the old Mental Asylums. As a 23-year-old I was first employed at Seacliff Hospital in January 1959 just a couple of years after Janet Frame’s last discharge from there.  She was already quite well-known for her literary works. I clearly remember our tutor, Dawn Price, attempting to convey to us budding psychiatric nurses the importance of our job: “We saved her life! She would certainly be dead if it hadn’t been for us.”

Espersen seems to imply that the psychiatric nurses saved Frame from the doctors. And knowing what we do now about the medical experts, that's entirely credible.

Janet Frame

Frame was very distressed in her early years – highly suicidal and mentally disturbed. And later in her life she occasionally admitted herself to these old-style asylums, both in Auckland and in the UK.

I (and most staff) was critical of some of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992 legislation – but by and large thought that more Community Care would be a good thing. Throughout my working years I always thought many of our patients did not need to be in institutions. However, we didn’t quite realise that all the institutions would disappear completely.

This article deals only with schizophrenia - human madness, lunacy, insanity – call it what you will. Not until the 20th century did we begin to talk about depressions and neuroses as mental illnesses.   The fact remains that there is a qualitative difference between schizophrenia and all other mental illnesses.  Although many other mental afflictions may be even more cruel and crippling to an individual than schizophrenia, sufferers are not insane.

In New Zealand around 0.3-0.7% of the total population will suffer from schizophrenia at some point. An article published this year in Schizophrenia Bulletin states, “Māori represent 40% of those presenting with first-episode psychosis and also receive higher rates of schizophrenia diagnoses.” Twenty percent of the prison population is mentally ill, the majority of whom will probably be schizophrenia sufferers.

And Maori.

Mental Health Foundation chief executive Shaun Robinson says, “In many ways prisons have become our biggest residential mental health service. Because the other parts of the system are just failing so many people.”

This ‘failure’ brought about the 2018 Ron Paterson inquiry which, in turn created the He Ara Oranga report. One year earlier, in 2017, I had presented a petition to parliament: That the House recommend that the Government establish a Royal Commission to report on harm to our schizophrenic population from changes inherent in the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992, and on harm from the closure of residential psychiatric hospitals in the 1990s.

From my experience working in the mental health sector, I know that, in many cases, schizophrenia and psychosis cannot be cured. Many people living with these conditions will never be able to fully recover and think and act like people who are not living with this mental illness. For this reason, schizophrenics should be supported to control and live with their condition but should not be subject to the same expectations of independence as the general community.

The health ministry responded by saying it does not support increasing institutionalisation. Ron Paterson’s report likewise recommended that mental health care be provided in the least restrictive circumstances possible. The then Labour Government accepted 38 of its 40 proposals.

With astounding naivety Ron Paterson and his committee believe that legislation intended to replace the 1992 Act exists to protect patients against transgressions of their human rights when under compulsory assessment or treatment.  But original ordinances set out to protect both society and patient from the sometimes terrible consequences of schizophrenia, and the sufferer from being held responsible for criminal action while acutely disturbed.

We must go back to the drawing board and conceive of mental health legislation from a different angle altogether - namely from the angle of simple human charity. Over the last 40 years the Health Ministry has shown a deplorable lack of proper understanding of our chronic schizophrenic population. In effect they have neglected them.

Ordinary hospitals are in the business of healing and curing their patients, but chronic schizophrenia is incurable, as all psychiatric textbooks will confirm.  Under the Justice Department (1846 – 1948), the exclusive aim of psychiatric hospitals was to make life as bearable as possible for our schizophrenia sufferers. In fact, to provide hospice care for them.  Under the NZ Health Ministry (since 1948) the aim has developed into an attempt to cure them.

Of course, we should never again build huge 19th century asylums in remote areas.   I hd a lovely schizophrenic cousin (now deceased) in Denmark where I went to visit her once. She lived in a modern tastefully built institution (similar to a pleasant old people’s home) in a suburban setting, of course.

The cost would be prohibitive you say.  But the cost of keeping a Correction’s inmate is $150,000 annually versus an aged-care resident at approximately $80,000 …

So where to now?

Since the election Matt Doocey has been made the first ever Cabinet Minister for Mental Health. But he is building a Ministry - a bureaucracy - which has no real-estate to go with it!

Get the bureaucrats to deal with it.

The Mental Health Ministry has no assets, owns no buildings, employs no staff, no doctors or nurses. All that is with the Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile the replacement legislation for the 1992 Act remains on the table.

ACT in fact has a well-thought-out Mental Health policy but van Velden fails to see (or perhaps she only omits saying so now?) that to succeed, institutions will be needed. Bricks and mortar will be needed – where all their envisaged specialists can be reached on site; institutions that do not discharge suicidal schizophrenics against their will.

I am all for that.

Andy Espersen is a retired mental health nurse, with decades of experience working in mental health institutions.
