LEO AND NOSTRA AETATE DISASTERS FOR THE CHURCH

 Funny. Here we Catholics were, thinking that the redeeming Sacrifice of the Son of God on Calvary had fulfilled the Old Testament covenants with the Jews. That the Catholic Church is the New Covenant. That we Catholics are the new Israel. Turns out we were wrong - 'the Pope' says so. 

On the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate, in Vatican II’s Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions, "A Journey of Hope", Leo XIV announced that "God’s covenant with the Jewish people is irrevocable".

Er, how can that be, your Holiness? According to the Council of Florence (1438-1445), "after the promulgation of the Gospel [the legal prescriptions of the Old Covenant] cannot be observed without loss of eternal salvation." It sounds very much, Holiness, that your Vatican II sect is a different religion from that of the Catholic Church which has always, and will always, pray for the conversion of the Jews who otherwise will not enjoy eternal life.

How can the Synodal church 'dialogue' its way out of this impasse? Why is the Vatican II sect banging the 'dialogue' drum instead of evangelising, which is now positively frowned upon with the pejorative term 'proselytising'? A red-blooded traditional Catholic male, fed up with the vice of effeminism rife in the Vatican II sect, has angrily inveighed against 'dialogue' as 'faggotry'. (The word 'dialogue', Catholic State says, occurs 164 times in "A Journey of Hope" (see below).

In a crammed garage on a vineyard in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand yesterday, the congregation forgot the cold, the wobbly seats and concrete floor as a priest of the Society of St Pius X (SSPX) preached "as one having power" (with authority" (Mt 7:29) on the greatest commandment in the law, viz:"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God, with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind, and with thy whole strength. This is the first commandment. And the second is like to it: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself"(Mk 30:31).

Yet Leo preaches that we shouldn't try to convert Jews to Christ. Catholics now should 'dialogue' with them instead. In other words, stop preaching Christ Crucified, because that offends the Jews. Abandon Jews (and adherents to all other religions) to eternity in hell. That's not loving Jews - and it's not loving God, Whom the Jews crucified, either.

Adding insult to injury to Catholics and non-Catholics alike, Leo is now saying that “Jesus doesn’t hear the prayers of those who wage war.” He has forgotten the popes who called the Church to holy wars against Islam and barbarism; he has forgotten the rosaries prayed on ship decks at Lepanto. He and his 'faggot' hierarchy are an embarrassment; the Catholic Church has sunk to an all-time nadir.

But it must be like this before the Antichrist can come, as Christ assures us he will. The temporal and spiritual power of the Church dwindles in inverse proportion to the growing power of Jewry, and from that race the Antichrist must come: the Antichrist will be a Jew.

"Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, Who opposeth, and is lifted up above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God"(2 Thess:3). 

This is not to say, of course, that Robert Prevost (whom the world and spiritually blinded Catholics call Pope Leo XIV) is the Antichrist prophesied by Christ. For one thing, the Antichrist is supposed to be charismatic ... But Leo's shaping up well to win that anti-title. He's a comparatively young man. He has time on his and Satan's side. 

On the very day of his election as Pope Leo XIV, he made a commitment to the World Jewish Congress and the American Jewish Committee ‘to continue and strengthen the Church's dialogue and cooperation with the Jews in the spirit of Nostra Aetate. Recall also that the sage Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano has stated that "the restraint on the Antichrist loosened at Vatican II". And with his statements on Nostra Aetate Leo looks like letting any restraint rip.

Historically, Catholics have been taught by Mother Church that Christ's atoning death, among other things, released Jews from the curses of the old covenant. Leo is assuring his flock now that Christ changed nothing in this regard. If God’s covenant with the Jews is irrevocable as Leo now says, then so is His threat of a curse on Jews who are unfaithful to the covenant, which raised the stakes of their sin and disobedience (not to mention the Mosaic Law itself functioning as a punishment, according to St. Paul). Which only renders the perfidious Jews more in need of conversion than ever.

The Church owes no apology to the Synagogue for 'antisemitism'. The Church is not to blame for Auschwitz. It is the Synagogue that owes God true repentance for having crucified His Son and for spitting, to this day, on His holy Cross. "The Jews do not know the Father, they crucified the Son and resist the Holy Spirit. In sum, the Jews do not worship God; the synagogue is nothing more than a dwelling place of demons" - Saint John Chrysostom.

But Leo speaks of “Catholic solidarity with Jews [which] requires actively opposing antisemitism ... This solidarity with the Jewish people also includes the shared struggle against antisemitism.” Leo makes no mention of struggle against Antichrist, anti-Christian, anti-Goyimism endemic to Jewish religio-culture, neither from Jews or Rome.

The Jews have broken the covenant by condemning the Redeemer Whom God sent in fulfilment of the covenant. God kept His side of the covenant. The Jews broke it. And to this point in time they still pray three times daily for the destruction of Christians.

Confirming Jews in their error is the highest form of “Jew Hate”, since it will damn them to hell. Nostra Aetate is a disaster for the Church. As is Pope Leo XIV who confirms it.

“But we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles; but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God” (1 Cor 1:23–24).
