Cardinals Cupich and Dolan at McElroy's installation in Washington Cathedral
Cardinals Blase Cupich and Timothy Dolan (aka "Mr and Mrs Dolan"), are among the five US cardinals whose sustained history of covering for priest predators is tantamount to complicity in their crimes.
Maybe they don't know that St Jacinta Marto of Fatima was told by the Blessed Virgin Mary that talk in the presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the tabernacle is deeply offensive to God. Not to mention laughter - and in the case of these sodomitically inclined men, likely lascivious laughter. And if they did know, in view of their track record of deviancy, would they care?
That they're princes of the Church is proof of the boiled frog theory. Catholics trapped by apathy or fear of dissent in the Novus Ordo, Vatican II Synodal Bergoglian sect have been subjected for so long to the hierarchy's increasingly deadly insults to Christ and His Mystical Body, the Church, that their faith has died. They can't see that these men are a travesty - Judases who deserve excommunication.
But the Catholic worm is turning: Janet Smith, Elizabeth Yore and victims of clergy sexual abuse have asked the state to do what the Church should. RICO (the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) is the weapon which they hope will force the Holy See to make a full disclosure into how government funding was used by the USCCB, Catholic dioceses, Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services, and all NGOs. https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/concerned-catholics-request-rico-investigation-of-bishops-actions-in-letter-to-jd-vance/
Installation Mass of Cardinal McElroy in Washington. 75% empty cathedral says it all
Before and after the election of Pope Francis in 2013, both the legacy and Catholic media reported very little about the newly elected pontiff’s record when it came to either engaging in or covering up the sexual abuse of minors and vulnerable adults.
Even when the French investigative journalist, Martin Boudot, produced his 2017 documentary, Sex Abuse in the Church: Code of Silence, most American secular and religious media sources avoided reporting how Francis not only covered up clerical sex abuse, but also went out of his way to defend predators whom some felt he himself groomed and abused when he was their ecclesiastical superior.
Many people question exactly how “close” Francis is to clerics like Bishop Gustavo Zanchetta and Monsignor Battista Ricca who were accused of either abusing seminarians or engaging in homosexual conduct with numerous individuals.
In the unlikely event that the College of Cardinals were to choose a North American as the next pope, lest someone say, “We never knew the pope covered up so much abuse when he was a cardinal,” let this article serve as evidence that “I warned you, but you didn’t listen.”
Dolan again (laughing again) - this time with the criminal Cardinal McCarrick
Among the 137 cardinals currently eligible to vote in the next conclave, including ten from the United States, are cardinals like Robert McElroy, Joseph Tobin, Wilton Gregory, Timothy Dolan, and Blase Cupich. All of these cardinals have been accused of being closeted homosexuals and of covering up sexual abuse just like Pope Francis who is documented to have lied when he said, “It [sex abuse] never happened in my diocese.”
McElroy Cardinal Robert McElroy, who was recently installed as the Archbishop of Washington, returned Father Jacob Betrand to ministry in 2015 knowing that he had admitted in 2014 to having satanically sexually abused Rachel Mastrogiacomo. McElroy also covered up the sexual abuse of twelve seminarians and priests whom the late psychotherapist Richard Sipe reported to have been abused by ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick.
The fact that Sipe’s legally served report to McElroy was never mentioned in The McCarrick Report shows how the report was whitewashed to protect Francis who was accused by Archbishop Carlo Vigano of abusing Jesuit novices in Argentina like McCarrick abused seminarians in New Jersey.
Tobin Cardinal Joseph Tobin, who tweeted “nighty-night-baby, I love you,” was also reported to have housed a young Italian actor in his residence. Tobin continues to cover up for Father Miroslaw Krol, a Newark priest and former chancellor of Orchard Lake Schools, who was accused of sexually abusing three employees. The victims have been trying for five years without success to get Tobin to discipline Krol who released their names and accused them in Poland of having brought false charges against him.
According to the victims who brought suit, Krol was accused of bringing predator priests from Poland to serve at Orchard Lake where together they were said to have preyed on vulnerable seminarians. One victim reported that Krol and his gay priest friends engaged in “orgies, drugs, and trips with seminarians to Krol’s timeshare in Puerto Vallarta where they frequented gay bars and invited male prostitutes to Krol’s apartment for orgies and drug-fueled parties.”
Gregory Cardinal Wilton Gregory who has been replaced by McElroy, is a protege of Cardinal Joseph Bernardin. According to Richard Sipe, years before Bernardin was charged with sexual abuse by Steven Cook in 1993, "several priests who were associates of Bernardin prior to his move to Chicago revealed that they had 'partied' together…with seminarians.”
Sipe also reported, “Bernardin's accuser (Cook) did not ever retract his allegations of abuse by anyone's account other than Bernardin's" and “the Chicago Archdiocese's payoff to Cook before he died of AIDS was in the $3 million range.”
After being asked by Washington priest Father Michael Briese if the rumors were true that Gregory was nicknamed “the African Queen” and had engaged in sex with men in Atlanta, Gregory suspended Briese who is well known and respected for his work with the poor and homeless in southern Maryland.
Briese also confronted Gregory for covering up for Father Adam Park who was accused of preying on seminarians at the North American College (NAC) in Rome, and Father Carter Griffin who was accused of making sexual advances toward seminarians at St. John Paul II Seminary in Washington, D.C.
Dolan
Cardinal Timothy Dolan has been accused of covering up sex abuse dating back to his first parish assignment in St. Louis. According to Chris O’Leary, Dolan did nothing to stop a fellow associate pastor, Father LeRoy Valentine, from abusing him in the rectory of the church of the Immaculata. Dolan would later be accused of abuse cover-ups while serving at the Apostolic Nunciature in Washington, D.C.; as rector of the NAC; as Auxiliary Bishop of St. Louis; as Archbishop of Milwaukee, and as Archbishop of New York.
Dolan is currently involved in a multi-million dollar lawsuit in New York Supreme Court where he is accused of unjustly getting rid of former New York seminarian, Anthony Gorgia, who refused to remain silent after witnessing grooming and receiving reports of sexual predation at the NAC (North American College, Rome - ed).
In addition to covering up for Gorgia’s Staten Island pastor, Father Thomas Devery, who was accused of abusing two minors, Dolan continues to cover up for New York priests like Monsignor John Paddack, Monsignor Thomas Derivan, Father Donald Timone, Father George Sears, and others who remain in ministry despite having been accused of abuse or being named in sex abuse lawsuits.
Cupich
Cardinal Blase Cupich, like the above-mentioned papabile, is also known to be a strong LGBTQ supporter. Given the fact that gays and lesbians believe that “LGBTQ rights and abortion rights are inseparable,” it came as no surprise that Cupich saw no reason why pro-abortion politicians like former President Joe Biden should be prohibited from receiving holy communion.
In 2018, Cupich identified 150 substantiated child sex abusers in the Archdiocese of Chicago. However, in 2019, the Illinois Attorney General’s Office found an additional 125, almost twice the number reported by Cupich.
Media outlets have not only failed to report on how Pope Francis has been alleged to have engaged in and covered up abuse, but they also have ignored the fact that he has not laicized or excommunicated over 150 bishops credibly accused of abusing minors or vulnerable adults.
While the media show nuns gathered in St. Peter’s Square praying for the hospitalized pontiff, they avoid mentioning how Francis has not laicized his friend, Father Marko Rupnik, who is accused of sexually abusing over twenty nuns while forcing some of them to drink his semen out of a chalice.
One can’t say how long Pope Francis has yet to live. In the meantime, abuse victims in the U.S. like Lisa Roers, Rachel Mastrogiacomo, Wieslaw Walawender, Ryszard Biernat, Chris O’Leary, James Grein, and others invite people to pray that God may inspire the cardinals to elect a Holy Father who will restore the Church’s moral credibility by “cleansing the Temple” of those who engage in sexual abuse and all forms of clerical sexual misconduct.

Pope Pius XII |
“For not every sin, however grave it may be, is such as of its own nature to sever a man from the Body of the Church, as does schism or heresy or apostasy.” Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi
The Church is the body of Christ. We, the members are mainly sinners of different degrees.Jesus has given us the Sacraments to help us on our journey through this life. The Sacrament of Pennance where our sins are forgiven is vital for us all. I suggest we all avail of this . Publisising peoples sins is uncharitable & does more harm to the church than good.

ReplyDeleteand in your world, God approves of slander and gossip and lies about another. Please find a hobby.
DeleteRichard Schmidt Reporting public crimes is not slander or detraction.. enough with defending the indefensible.

ReplyDeleteAn abomination.
ReplyDeleteWeirdos.
ReplyDeleteVery well said Julie and spot on as usual
People need to start speaking out and stop looking the other way when the proof is there in plain sight
ReplyDeleteNow do the so-called 'jews'.
ReplyDeleteDolan for Pope!
Harry Meyer you're not serious. Are you?

ReplyDeleteThis picture is a mere instant snapshot in time - your assumed context is a guess based on your church view. You obviously are filled with hate (possibly with personal justification) for the Catholic church but you come on here as a non-Catholic and try to rip us to shreds with vile assumptions and presumptions and accusations. Are these men innocent - maybe not - God will take care of that - but don't use these two as justification to vilify us and all the good Catholics and the Catholic church have done for the past 2000 plus years. I pray for peace in your heart.
DeleteAdam Schloesser did you not click on the link and see that the photo was taken at Washington Cathedral during the installation of +McElroy? And that the writer of this post, Gene Thomas Gomulka is a sexual abuse victims’ advocate, investigative reporter, and screenwriter. A former Navy (O6) Captain/Chaplain, seminary instructor, and diocesan respect life director, Gomulka was ordained a priest for the Altoona-Johnstown diocese and later made a Prelate of Honor (Monsignor) by St. John Paul II.
Thank you for vilifying me as 'a non-Catholic and filled with hate'. "Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven." (Mt 5: 11. 12).,
ReplyDeleteThis post is provoking temptations of sin and gossip during the Lenten Season…
And to what end. Is it edifying?
Does it promote the faithful to pray?
It just seems divisive!
Prayers for all who have suffered all manner of abuse by anyone!
DeleteJanet Spencer it's exposing evil, as Our Lord Himself did in denouncing the scribes and pharisees. It should provoke Catholics to pray for the Church and for repentance, healing and conversion for these men.
ReplyDeleteThe Blessed Virgin Mary appears in Medjugorje and said only God can be their judge. Some will line the gates of hell. We are to go to mass, receive the sacraments, pray and follow our Lord.
DeleteCarol Anger Medjugorge is not approved as being of supernatural origin. Following Our Lord means that as He did not tolerate evil but condemned it, so should we.
ReplyDeleteAnd BVM is not reverent either. You have so little respect for her that you abbreviate her name? Look not at the twig in another's eye.

Chris Meyers have you ever tried to compress that much information into that many sentences? I think our Blessed Mother would be pleased at the reminder of her instruction to St Jacinta, and the mention of Fatima (arguably the greatest event of the 20th century, and totally ignored by the Bergoglian sect and Our Lady herself disobeyed by every pope since Vatican II.)
ReplyDeleteChill out lady! Do you think that Jesus never laughed? Laughter is a sign of happiness! And it doesnt look like they were disturbing or interrupting anything!
DeleteGram Slam as a matter of fact,Jesus is never recorded in Scripture as laughing. And these men were disturbing Holy Mass - the unbloody representation of the Sacrifice of the Son of God on Calvary. They have evidently lost the faith - if indeed they ever had it.
ReplyDeleteThe writer is terribly one-sided. Cardinal Dolan is in bed with the wealthy and all that comes with it. On the other hand, Cardinal Cupich is a faithful friend of the poor, the immigrant, and the disfranchised. They may be friends, but they are different in their spirituality. The writer lumps them together, but they are certainly not a scandalous twosome! The writer is off the wall thinking anyone who happens to talk or laugh in church disrespects Jesus in the tabernacle. There is joy to share a moment of friendship even in church. Try harder to love your fellow man rather than make judgments or false accusations.
DeleteMike Murphy I think probably the author of the post - Fr Gene Thomas Gomulka, a sexual abuse victims’ advocate, investigative reporter, and screenwriter, former Navy (O6) Captain/Chaplain, seminary instructor, and diocesan respect life director, and ordained a priest for the Altoona-Johnstown diocese and later made a Prelate of Honor (Monsignor) by St. John Paul II - is very well-informed.
'Thinking anyone who happens to talk or laugh in church disrespects Jesus in the tabernacle is off the wall'. So you believe that the Blessed Virgin Mary is 'off the wall'. I try to love my fellow man by telling him the truth. And I judge deeds, not the doers of those deeds.
ReplyDeleteThe Church is a sacred space for praise and worship! It’s not a place of entertainment! Go outside of the Church and socialize. Do you know how Elijah encountered God? With Moses what did God say to him when he encountered God with the burning bush? And what did Jesus say to the people making noise and selling by the Church? Take your I Me and Myself friendship somewhere! Not inside the Church!
ReplyDeleteSince when is it a sin to laugh in Church? There has been many a priest that has given a homily that was not only inspiring, but genuinely funny as well! Laughter is a sign of happiness! Dont you think they laugh in heaven? Quit making up crap about the Church! And quit blaming Vatican II for everything! You have no idea how stupid that sounds! Especially to the devout faithful who have accepted the changes that were made! Worry about your own souls because you deliberately trash the Church whenever you get the chance!
Gram Slam I gather you attend the Novus Ordo. There's nothing at all wrong with laughing at a joke made by a priest in a sermon. You can't compare that with laughing uproariously while Mass is being celebrated.
DeleteJulia du Fresne It looked like they were leaving! They were in the opposite direction of the people up front! They werent in the sanctuary! And yes, I attend the Novus Ordo and I love it!
Delete
DeleteGram Slam can you not see the priest in the background bowing at the altar? I agree, it looks like they were walking out.
I somehow knew you must attend the NO. So did I. I gradually came to hate it and left (with no little anguish for myself, my husband and son, but I had no alternative). Thank God, He guided me to the Traditional Latin Mass - an hour and a quarter's drive away.
DeleteJulia du Fresne I grew up with the Latin Mass! But thats all we had. We didnt have anything else! Thats all we knew! And attending that Mass, people are sitting there, not being able to understand what is being said! Some of us who had missals, had our noses in the missal trying to follow along with the priest with the English version on the right page, and the Latin on the left! You cant understand what the priest is saying, and you dont participate because the altar boy gives the responses! You cant see what the priest is doing because he has his back to the congregation the entire time! What youre basically doing is watching a floor show! At least with the Novus Ordo you can understand all the prayers, you participate by giving the responses, so the congregation becomes part of the Mass, and you can see what the priest is doing, preparing the altar for the Sacred Feast! In the TLM, you might as well be attending a Japanese Mass that you cant understand either! Jesus is still there! The Novus Ordo is no less holy than the Latin Mass! The difference is you can understand and become a part of the celebration, instead of just being an observer! Today, if they changed back exclusively to the Latin, youd have people walking away! Because theyve been exposed to the English and are accustomed to it! Theyre not going to want to sit there and just watch! Especially the children who are used to the English! Jesus gave authority to the Church to make changes! To loose or to bind! The apostles didnt worship in Latin! Their main language was Greek and Hebrew! And also Aramaic! Things have changed over the centuries to keep up with the culture to help people understand better! Its what you bring to the Mass in your heart to give to Jesus that counts! And the devout faithful are bringing to the English Mass what the devout faithful are bringing to the Latin Mass! Because Jesus is there at both of them! And thats what counts, no matter what language its said in! Dont place more importance on the language and ritual of the Mass when thats not the most important part! Jesus is supposed to be the focus! Not the language, or the music, or the people! Just Jesus!
DeleteGram Slam Please do read: https://onepeterfive.com/why-i-couldnt-go-back-to-the.../
Gram Slam. I also grew up with the Latin Mass. I don’t recall much sitting during Mass except sermons. In many new Catholic Churches that’s all they do is sit and stand, no kneeling and even no genuflecting. The Mass I attend we kneel and suffer joyfully. The NO has become the sideshow with clapping and modern music instruments.

If a Person recieved communion in Hand then you are in Demonic practice

ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work. The deliberate works against the truth of Jesus are within the "Christian" religions as well as other religions. We must not forget that. The most dangerous comes from within. After all it is the govetnments of countries where the laws are based upon Christianity that are ensuring the Muslim religion take over. The UK being the most obvious.

ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for citing the source of why it is so disrespectful to chitchat in front of the Blessed Sacrament. I knew it was a bad thing, and have told people engaging in such behavior after Mass that it was disrespectful. Now I have more ammo. 😁
In agreement with the principle expressed earlier - that exposure of, or comment on - public sin ; is not detraction or slander. Of the few forces that get people in high places to act on such elements as sex-abuse and consequent cover-ups, public exposure of the issues and the protagonists, is more likely a force that gets things moving .
