SICK LEO PROMOTES LIBERAL TAGLE, BUGNINI FAN VIOLA

The man the world calls Pope Leo XIV is seriously ill. He has undergone surgery today for a tumour on the lung. For faithful Catholics there's only one reaction to that information: prayer. Pray the Rosary - and the few who are privileged with access to the Traditional Latin Mass (which Leo still suppresses - should offer their Mass for his repentance, healing and conversion. His denial of the death penalty, his seamless garment ideology, and promotions of pro-LGBT and women priests' ordination prelates show his embrace of liberation theology.

 

He needs a Pauline conversion to stop wreaking his havoc on the Church. Call on our Holy Mother Mary, Mother of the Church, on the anniversary of her Miracle of the Sun to ask her Divine Son that God's will be done for Leo.

Praying for Leo is both a spiritual and a corporal work of mercy - a strict precept imposed both by the natural and the positive Divine law. The natural law enjoins works of mercy by the principle of doing to others as we would have them do to us. And faithful Catholics know the consequence of failing to comply with Christ's list of such works: ''Depart from me, you cursed, in everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was ... sick ...and you did not visit me" (Mt 25,41). To pray for the sick far away is surely to visit them in spirit, especially if we send our guardian angels to accompany our prayers.

What's more, Christ has told us also to "Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you" (Mt 5,44). Depriving Catholics of their greatest good - the Eucharist - is hateful persecution against which, paradoxically, the Mass is our best defence.

One wonders whether, had the Catholic world known of Benedict XVI's persecution in the Vatican and prayed for him, he might have resisted the pressure to which he was subjected. He might not have 'resigned' the papacy and thus opened the door of the sheepfold of the Church to the ravening wolf Bergoglio. The bishops Bergoglio let through the gate of the sheepfold after him, as we all know by now, were modernists, liberals who have no rightful place in the Church - and they were chosen mostly by the man who would eventually be put into Bergoglio's shoes as 'pope': Cardinal Robert Prevost. A fact which only increases Leo's need for prayers.

'Pope Leo XIV's latest appointment is the new Archpriest of St Peter's Basilica, one Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola. It's only a matter of time before Viola gets a red hat - and before Trad Inc start rejoicing at his traditional Franciscan habit (as they do at Prevost's lace and Latin), please know that Viola refused permission to Australian Archbishop Peter Comensoli to continue the TLM at Melbourne Cathedral. 
"The Cathedral", said Viola, "is the first place where the celebration of the liturgy must use the current liturgical books, which form the unique expression of the lex orandi of the Roman Rite.” So hopes for the Old Mass to be celebrated again in the side chapels of St Peter's look to be dead in the water already. 

What sort of priest can refuse Catholics what Fr Faber called "the most beautiful thing this side of heaven"? And so refuses the divine worship due to his Master and Lord, Jesus Christ? The sort of priest who flaunts the ring once owned by the chief destroyer of the Latin Mass and architect of the Novus Ordo: the Freemason Annibale Bugnini.

Leo's other new appointment of special significance to the cause of the Latin Mass and Tradition was that of Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle as the new Dean of the College of Cardinals. Tagle is fairly famous for his lavender-shirted karaoke performance of John Lennon's antiChrist, pro-2030 song "Imagine". It 'went viral'. IMAGINE. Just imagine this karaoke-singing lavender-shirted Dean of the College of Cardinals organising the next conclave, should Leo die under the knife.

Leo XIV's namesake, the saintly Leo XIII, commanded what's known as the Leonine Prayers to be said at every Mass, most significantly to St Michael Archangel, in 1886. After the Second Vatican Council that practice lapsed universally - in Chicago (Leo XIV's hometown) in 2021 Cardinal Blase Cupich expressly directed that the Prayer of St. Michael was not to be said publicly following Mass. Nor the Hail Mary. At least one of Cupich's priests - seemingly forgetting that obedience to God comes before obedience to man - dutifully complied.

The Society of St Pius (SSPX) has never abandoned the Leonine Prayers, including the Prayer to St Michael. For that loyalty to Tradition the Society was rewarded with 'excommunication' . In the pervading climate in the postconciliar cult of demonic oppression, obsession and even possession, priests and people should turn once again to the Prince of the heavenly host.

Especially in prayer for the man known to the world, and to the postconciliar, synodal cult managed by the Vatican, as Pope Leo XIV.

Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola, 61, O.F.M., as Archpriest of St. Peter’s Basilica, Vicar General for Vatican City, and President of the Fabric of St. Peter.

He succeeds Cardinal Mauro Gambetti.

Monsignor Viola will likely be created a cardinal, as every listed Archpriest of St. Peter’s for hundreds of years has been a cardinal.

In 2021, when he was Bishop of Tortona, Francis appointed him Secretary of the Dicastery for Divine Worship.

Viola’s career was strongly supported by Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino, who served as Prelate of Pompeii, Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship, and later Bishop of Assisi. In Assisi, he worked closely with Viola, who was active in Franciscan, liturgical, and charitable work.

Archbishop Viola is part of the circle inspired by Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, the architect of the disastrous liturgical changes under Paul VI. He even wears the episcopal ring once owned by Bugnini.

Viola became one of the leading interpreters of Traditionis custodes, which restricts the Roman Mass.

He also reportedly helped draft the 2022 apostolic letter Desiderio desideravi, in which Francis claims that Catholics cannot truly accept the Second Vatican Council while rejecting the liturgical reform that followed it.

Paix Liturgique reported that Viola has played a key role in denying permissions for young priests who wish to celebrate the Roman Mass. Under current rules, bishops must often seek Vatican approval for such requests.
