CIVIL SERVANTS, MSM, ARDERN: IMPOSTERS ALL

To comment please open your gmail account or use my email address, FB Messenger or X (Twitter).

Ardern the Imposter, Hipkins the Hopeless having a good time at New Zealand's expense

"Cry My Beloved Country." It's a steal from Alan Paton's 1948 novel of nearly the same title, but truly if one didn't have faith in God and the power of prayer you'd be crying over New Zealand right now.

We rejoiced to see the back of Ardern the traitor who last year had the gall to boast to a crowd of sycophants at Harvard that for her entire 5 years as this country's prime minister she was also an imposter. We knew that. We knew she'd got her PR from the Freemasons. We knew she was a narcissist who cloaked her baby-killing legislation and mandate and lockdown and killer vax in 'kindness' and 'keeping people safe'. But to skite about it ...

She dressed her act up as a syndrome. But while she struts the world stage New Zealand flails about in her leavings of massive debt and 'died suddenlys', with the albatross around our neck of a surfeit of Marxist MSM and civil servants who are barely civil to their bosses and certainly not serving the taxpayers. Ex-Labour cabinet minister (who unlike Hipkins' hopeless harpies knew his onions) Michael Bassett finds their hostility a threat to any policies that PM Christopher Luxon may yet get brave enough to define.

First, a tweet from November 2023 notifying Ardern's imposture which seemed to escape the notice of our Marxist media - but perhaps they thought that unlike the Extremely Intelligent Harvard Academia, commonsense Kiwis might take her boasting the wrong way:

Jacinda Ardern admits to having suffered from "Imposter Syndrome" for the whole time she was PM of New Zealand. She made the admission to an audience of fawning students and staff at the Harvard John F Kennedy forum. She suggests to the audience that if they ever find themselves consumed by self doubt they should think of her for inspiration. Frankly, I don't think it was any kind of syndrome. She was right to doubt her competence as Prime Minister. She saw herself as out of her depth because she truly was out of her depth, and in spite of the tales she told the clapping seal Harvard audience about her roaring success in the role, she was in actuality probably the most incompetent PM in NZ's history.

Ardern with her "clapping seal Harvard audience"

Next, from Michael Bassett:
Unless you were present to hear the Prime Minister deliver his State of the Nation speech on 18 February it was difficult to get the full speech. Chris Luxon mailed out only a few bullet points. TV One promised to give viewers a good look at it on the 6pm news that night, but that low-level reporter, Maiki Sherman, introduced her story with a whole lot of irrelevant stuff from the Big Gay Out before providing unrelated snippets of Luxon's speech.

TV One Spews, living up to its well-earned sobriquet with Sherman's propaganda, was being worse than irrelevant. It's as disordered as the sad individuals at Big Gay Out which featured Deputy Prime Minister Nicola Willis and minor minister Chris Bishop in the van, displaying at the very least poor political judgment and an inability to think straight (pun unintended).

The Herald left reporting the speech to Sam Hurley who interspersed a few of Luxon’s comments with only partially relevant counter arguments from the Leader of the Opposition, while failing to remind readers that the appalling educational and welfare statistics occurred under Chris Hipkins’ government. Make no mistake about it: the Main Stream Media are hard at work trying to undermine the new government.

In the end, I found the full speech. Clearly, it was no oratorical triumph; Chris Luxon has none of the charisma of John Key or the intellect of Helen Clark. But the tone of the speech was correct. Times are tough, and a more rigorous approach to welfare is urgently needed.

Carmel Sepuloni left behind 70,000 more people on so-called “Jobseeker” unemployment benefits than were there in 2017 when she came to office. Luxon’s statistic that 2,000 young people receiving a youth payment or young parent payment are now expected to spend an average of 24 years of their working lives on a benefit is frightening.

But as Lindsay Mitchell has pointed out on our site, the situation is much worse. More than one in five of all new babies being born today comes into a household dependent on a benefit.

That's somehow a reminder of a statistic published years ago: one in five New Zealand women had had at least one abortion. Of course the figure would be higher now and somehow, somewhere hidden, there lurks a correlation with babies born on the benefit.

None of those children will grow up in a family that knows anything about self-reliance or working for a living.

Luxon’s speech was short of solutions. In that sense, National seems little better than Labour which, you’ll recall, came to office in 2017 after nine years in Opposition, with so little policy they needed more than 200 committees to advise them on what to do. Luxon points in the right direction, for the most part, but more than eighty days after coming to office he is still shy about specifics.

This is serious. Labour’s incompetent ministers became so reliant on their officials that the bureaucracy eventually came to feel that it owned the policies that emerged after 2017. And right now, those same people are being asked to reverse or unscramble their own work.

A fight back is underway. Already there have been at least two serious leaks from bureaucrats to journalists designed to embarrass the new Government: one a cabinet paper warning ministers about the political dangers in relation to their approach to Treaty issues, the other about financing build-to-rent housing.

Several friends of mine who interface with departments working on the development of new policies tell me they have encountered what they sense are deliberate efforts by Wellington bureaucrats to ensure they won’t deliver what ministers have instructed. Wellington, as we all know, is now in the hands of the Greens, many of them harbouring ideology that would have survived comfortably in Bolshevik Russia.

Moreover, there are nearly 16,000 surplus civil servants who were casually popped on the public payroll by Jacinda Ardern and Chris Hipkins. A major exercise in patch protection is now underway by those whose jobs are threatened. Every RNZ news broadcast seems to contain a union threat about collapsing services if civil service jobs are pruned. But taxpayers were promised a reduction in staff numbers. And budgetary restraint in the current economic climate is fundamental.

Worse for the government, in the absence of Luxon’s clear indication of nuts and bolts solutions to the problems he outlined in his speech, ministers are dependent on the advice of many of the very people most hostile to their policies. I cannot recall a time when any government’s plans have been so threatened. Certainly, the basic public service ethos of employees needing to deliver the policies the public voted for is being challenged.

The Minister for the Public Service, Nicola Willis, ironically, is the very minister who under her other hat as Minister of Finance, has the most direct interest in the implementation of the new government’s policies.

It’s certainly time for a new State Services head, and it might be time for a full-scale inquiry into the bureaucracy so that civil servants are told in no uncertain terms of the responsibilities that accompany the rather lavish salaries they enjoy.

And any inquiry should include TVOne and RNZ that have been over-indulging the political whims of their employees ever since last October.

  4. These bastards needed hanging for what they did to our democracy our country and its people. With the “run away” mentality, we now see the lack of accountability and depth of these corrupt politicians who at our expense ran a muck (sic, he means 'amok') over our once great nation. Now the party of Ardern is over we must face the clean up which will be extremely hard for most as they created a country of complete poverty like never before for a generation of young who have never gone without. Soon even the bank of mum and daddy will be as bankrupt as the country.

  26. WEF website had Ardern's profile on it under their young globalist leaders, while she was posing as PM of our Nation. WEF are atheists who openly say that " the idea or concept of spirit, soul or free will are no more. Humans are animals that can be hacked on a massive scale" an OIA release shows that in 2020 Ardern had a teleconference with Belinda Gates to get her to champion the mrna jab. Gates profited 200 million from pfizer shares before they crashed, Ardern apparently went from 800k to 25mil (conspiracy theory) and 10000+ kiwi died and 10000+ kiwi irreversibly damaged. Then she split as she had 'nothing left in the tank" the most treacherous, evil, divisive leader this nation has ever had, I guess we can thank our lucky stars that she had 'nothing left in the tank' as how much more damage could she have done to our people for her own profit.

  28. TVNZ carry’s on as if nothing has changed - they believe Labour’s policies still exist because there’s no one there with an intelligent brain to say otherwise. As an SOE broadcaster they are full of left wing employees who don’t know what to do with a centre right wing government - but the axe is being sharpened as we speak. Fortunately the country has no favourites at TVNZ so no one will be missed.

    1. Yes, the Freemasons became a very easy target when the once-secret papers of the 'Alta Vendita' were exposed, and with them the Freemasonic blueprint for their subversion of the Catholic Church - which succeeded so well the Church was robbed of much of her power to defend Christ. That the tragic outcome for Western society has a great deal to do with the Freemasons is only too evident for those with eyes to see.

    2. She was one among Thousands of young people needing assistance for their University Education. It is an important part of Freemasonry to help those in need. 8. Yes, Ted Green, that's what many believe about the Freemasons, including Freemasons themselves (in the lower tiers): "they're nice people who do a lot of good."
But the once-secret papers of the 'Alta Vendita' have been exposed, and with them the Freemasonic blueprint for their subversion of the Catholic Church. Their ambitions succeeded so well that the Church was robbed of much of her power to defend Christ. That the tragic outcome for Western society has a great deal to do with the Freemasons is only too evident for those with eyes to see. Even to those within the Masonic ranks.

    9. That is very interesting. I have never heard of this "Alta Vendita" I am sure with 60 years of active Freemasonry I should have .I have been Master twice. I remember Pope John the 23rd declaring that there was nothing incompatible with Freemasonry and Catholicism. I know that on many occasions Freemasons have supported Catholic Charities. Many years ago as a Taxi Driver I picked up a Priest at Wellington Airport. I had the Square and Compass sign on my Key Ring. He said "Are you a Freemason"? I said " Yes you blokes don't like us much." He said "I come from Auckland. Our Church burned down and if it was not for the Help of the Freemasons we would never have been able rebuild it."
