HOW WE PREPARE FOR THE GRACE OF CONTEMPLATION

Before the Lord communicates (in contemplative prayer) with us, we must dispose ourselves for this gift through the practice of virtues and we must not be careless in anything.

We must beg the Lord to strengthen our souls.
